The people at the Banfield Glendora may be well meaning, but the diagnoses they have my dog were wrong or lacking after a 2nd opinion. They told me they found a heart murmur. Separate vet couldn't find it. Banfield refused to clean my dogs teeth because they said they couldn't give her anesthesia due to the supposed heat condition. The care plan included teeth cleaning, but now I couldn't get my dogs teeth cleaned.1 year later she had to have most of her teeth removed due to bad dental hygiene.I trusted them too long. They were wrong, and withheld care because of their error. And I still had to pay for a plan that I couldn't fully use.Don't take your pets here. Much better places.

Selena is an absolute Gem! She gave me great recommendations on multiple dog foods and helped me get a new prescription for my dogs food. Thanks Selena! The Petsmart employees could take a page from your book.

Scheduled online for both of my cats to get rabies vaccines. On the day of the appointment, they told us that we have to drop the cats off for a couple hours. We've never been there before, don't know those people, have never spoken to the vet, and our cats only needed a shot. Why on earth would we drop our pets off there for a couple of hours?? No one told us this in the many appointment confirmations I received. It wasn't online in the appointment scheduling system. I am shocked that people actually just drop their pets off with strangers for a couple of hours in a scary place. We canceled the appointments and will not be back.

Medical staff takes the time to explain your pets visit and go the extra mile to make sure you have no concerns.

My husband and I have been going to this Banfield for about 3 years. We have 4 cats and 1 dog. Every time we come in, Sarah always treats us with the utmost respect and kindness. Today Milani helped me and I couldn't have asked for anything else. She was extremely helpful and addressed all of my concerns in a timely manner. The service I was given today was fantastic. Thank you!

Don’t come here unless you like to get your appts canceled every single time. Ridiculous that we pay for the pet insurance if we can’t even be seen by a vet.

Zero!!! If I could rate this office a zeroI would!!I brought my love dog in for a, what I was told, was a chest X-ray that would take 30mins to and hour depending on if he needed to be sedated. When I arrived, I was told the doctor requested 2 additional test and they couldn't tell me how long he would be at the facility. As I began to ask, in detail, which each test would reveal, the receptionist then asked a nurse to expand and explain my questions. I asked her to check if he already has had blood work (which would be paid for my my "Banfield plan) she informed me that his blood work had already been done for the year and i would have to cover the entire cost. After asking her about each test I was giving a 800+ estimate. I was then asked if I wanted to speak with a "lead", which I agreed to. Alex entered the room with an enthusiastic manger. It quickly changed when I began asking her questions about each procedure. There was never an issue about payment. I was asking about each procedure and what exactly we/the doctor was seeking? I NEVER spoke to the doctor. I signed off on an over 1-thousand dollar estimate for 3 test. I left the room and was immediately called and asked to come back at take my sick dog home. He was refused care because the reception, nurse and the lead didn't appreciate the way I treated them. When I asked Alex (office lead) when exactly I has treatment would be completed, she said she could not articulate "in so many words" exactly why my dog was being refused treatment. She said I could take him to another Banfield hospital straight away. SHE COULD NOT FIND ANOTHER APPOINTMENT AVAILABLE. I was lied to. She could not and did not offer solutions she then handed me a sheet of "non-band field" emergency animal hospitals. She then left the room, returned with my dog and didn't say another word. I left in tears. Shame on the doctor in charge for never seeing orSpeaking to me and punishing my dog because I was inquiring about his treatments.

Please do NOT do a drop-off vet visit for your puppy. My 9-week old puppy had the case of roundworms. This location had the earliest availability and we wanted to make sure he was seen as soon as possible. The lady on the phone was super nice and told us to come by so, we did. Since he didn't have all his shots yet, we put him in a crate and dropped him off. For a puppy this young, I expected someone to at least be checking on him or let him go potty on a pad since he's still so young and can't control his bladder. But, when we picked him, the person just handed us our pup (without the crate). When we asked for the crate, the person went in the back and just handed us the crate and went back in. His belly and paws were soaked. We realized the crate was filled with his urine. So, basically, our pup was in there for hours sitting in his own urine. It was so clear that there was urine all over the crate. My husband knocked on the door to ask for a paper towel & spray and they said they didn't have any which is ridiculous. My poor pup is now traumatized and has had a lot more accidents in the crate since this visit. All of our hard work to train our puppy is now gone. Super frustrating. I'm giving this a 2 star review because the lady on the phone, the vet, and the nurse were helpful and informative. But, whoever is taking in and supposed to watch these animals should not be working with animals at all. Since we're locked in the wellness plan for a year, we're definitely NOT doing a drop-off visit anymore and will be there for every single visit.

I don't normally write reviews but I was so disappointed with this clinic. I set up an appointment to get my dog her vaccines and an allergy shot. I stressed the importance of the allergy shot because my dog is miserably itchy this time of year. I spoke to 3 different people at 3 different times during my dogs visit. Each time I mentioned his itchy my dog is and how much she needed the shot. They upsold me tons of services. They had my dog gif 4 hours. And when I got home and reviewed my bill online, they never gave her the allergy shot!!! The worst part is that they kept my dog for hours and no one noticed how miserable and itchy she was.

Only a quick comment. Having been a client, with a number of pets over the last 10 years, I'm sad to say that they have lost the personal touch when it comes to interactions between clients and the veterinarians. Don't know if this is a result of the pandemic or the influence of corporate culture from a large pet hospital chain. Also, concern for animals should not be overshadowed by a transparent philosophy of up selling and 'contractual' health care services. Five minutes personal interactions with your pets doctor cannot be substituted with a mountain of generic paperwork regarding health issues. Nothing is more devastating than having to put a family pet to sleep, than being told that even though the pet is gone, you are contractually obligated to pay for the balance of months of care you will never receive. Pets are family. Corporate needs to rethink their customers and provide them with a positive experience on all levels.
