Older smaller Vons. Fine for regular grocery shopping, but dont expect large selections or exotic items. Very friendly staff

Yesterday, I visited the store and encountered the store manager, Jackie, who was incredibly helpful with my groceries. At the register, Patricia was equally prompt and always ready to lend a hand. Whenever I'm unsure about how to use the Vons app, Patricia consistently finds a solution to any of my questions, always doing so with a smile.

The people in the deli department are really great . It is the customers that I sometimes see giving them a hard time. I'm not great either names but the young woman who's Is about as tall at the counter . She is new to the deli department and always had a smile and a friendly word. She is a stellar employee as all the ladies there are .

The folks in the deli are unkind, rude, unhelpful. They look angry and bothered when someone asks for anything. I've been coming here for about three years because I walk at Descanso. The customer service is consistently rude. I hate to go and ask for chicken god forbid sliced deli meat/cheese. I think Vons CO needs to visit this store, assess, and make changes.

I asked help from the worker inside the dairy refrigerator, and he acknowledged my voice but ignored me after calling him three times. I needed to know if there was any Lucerne Belgium Chocolate coffee creamer. I then proceeded to another gentleman in the aisles. I asked him if he could check for the creamer. He did not hesitate to check and provided the best customer service he could. The man who ignored me was Freddy, and the man with the great customer service was Carlos. In relaying my experience with Carlos, he frowned at what had occurred and just said nicely, I thank you for looking for someone else. I can tell that employee interactions between them are a bit unfriendly and that leads to a hostile work environment, which is not good for staff or customers needing assistance. Carlos, I give you sincere thanks for going above and beyond to help me get my creamer.

If you're in the neighborhood and you need groceries just keep driving. T.J. Is down the street and there's a Ralph's several miles away but believe me it's still a better option. This Vons is poorly stocked (meat especially) and regardless how big the lines may be, guaranteed there's never more than two checkout lanes opened.

Customer service is great! Only vons that actually picks up their phone or picks it up without a ten min wait. George was super helpful!

They had a rotting watermelon in the produce section and the potatoe I bought had mold. Flithy. Disgusting. How is this not a health violation?

This store has to be one of the worst run Vons in the LA area. I've never stopped in and not been greeted with an outrageously long line to checkout. I can't remember a time that I've ever seen more than 2 cashier's working at the same time and there's no self checkout.It feels like it's faster to just drive to either of the Ralph's close by even if you're already in the Vons shopping center for something else.

I have been shopping here at least twice a week for the past few years. One friendly cashier told me about the Vons APP and it's saves me between $100-$200 a month on groceries. I find that most employees are friendly and helpful. The gentleman at the deli made great suggestions on his favorite cuts of Turkey and cheese and those are now my go-to cuts for my kids school sandwiches. As a regular customer, I find this place a great part of my community. If you haven't had the deli's roasted Mango Habanero chicken, it's amazing for dinner with their traditional potato salad.

Too many cashiers and not enough baggers. Very slow to get through checkout lanes, do not come here. Horrible experience.

Deceitful: last night after work I went to buy a few pounds of sirloin on sale gif 4.99lb. The person working behind the butcher said he could not give me the cut in the fridge because the butcher was gone for the day. He said to come tomorrow between six and three. I went today at 5 o’clock after work and the butcher was not there, and the meat I requested was already cut and prepackaged outside. But the price was twice as high. I went to the manager and asked if they would honor the price from yesterday because of what happened and they refuse to honor the price..

This place is ridiculous. Too many cashiers and not enough grocery baggers. I've only seen one, that's right, ONE grocery bagger and FOUR cashiers open. Where are the other people to help bag? The manager (Karen H.) Supervisor (Karen G.) and Assistant Director (Darlene) are extremely rude and have a very passive aggressive tone to their voice every time they speak to someone. I will not be coming back to this store. They need a serious attitude check and better staffing. This is insane. Please do not come to this store.
