I put three greeting cards to three different people in the mailbox behind the office in late March 2024 and not a one of them was delivered. The mailboxes were the new secure ones with a tiny sliver of a slot and I dropped them in there during the week when the office was open. My thought is they were opened by an employee thinking they had gift cards or money in them. What is wrong with the USPS in Glendale. Shady AF lately. I’ve had nothing but problems with them for the past decade. Our mail delivery folks are never consistent. Last year we never received our mail till 7pm in the evening. WTH is going on? This review will fall on deaf ears so I’m not expecting anything to be done about it. Just posting it to give others who may have had the same experiences or mail stolen by employees validation that they’re not alone.

This is the second time I have to deal with this office and as always, workers are useless, rude unpleasant people very unprofessional Customer service. Even though it says, make an appointment you go there on your appointment you wait 40 minutes behind the door. Nobody opens the door to even tell you that there’s somebody inside and you need to wait. Even when you are inside they will take their sweet time and it will take you 2 hours to complete the process. I’ve never ever experience anything like this. I went to Burbank office, completely different environment, friendly nice people fast service. They’re there to help you instead, unlike this Glendale service where everybody just ignores you.

I must express my disappointment with the unprofessional and rude behavior of the passport clerks.
They are not there to help people; they don't like questions and won't answer either.
My wife and I diligently followed all the necessary steps, including filling out the renewal passport form, only to be told by the clerk that it was not the correct form for our purpose.
The clerk demanded that we go home and fill out a new passport application form because they only accept that form at that location, even though they do have to offer both forms there at the front desk.
We went to the Ratner post office and they did take us with appoinment and process our our request in 20 minutes, they were nice and proffecinal

I waited over an hour for a passport appointment despite being early. Eventually I had to leave to make it to work on time and reschedule my appointment. I timed the appointments of other people in line and they all took less than 10 minutes. That’s great! The employee working was fast and professional. They just need to schedule more people or limit appointments because it’s difficult to find time to spend hours at the post office. I don’t drive and in order to make sure I was on time, I had to waste money on an uber. Extremely frustrating experience and I don’t think the one employee working could have done anything differently to fix it.

This morning I went to get my passport, my appointment was at 11:30am and I was attended to until 1:30pm, I had to go out to pay for parking twice!!
5 desks of which only 1 person is serving, there were more than 20 people inside and when someone else finally arrived to help him, he started serving people WITHOUT AN APPOINTMENT. And some of those people just arrived at the office and were attended to much faster and many more before us than
IF WE HAD AN APPOINTMENT.
I think you pay too much
and the customer service is very bad
They should hire more staff to be better served.
Because it is unfortunately the area
it's very good
but the service is very bad
due to lack of personnel who serve more and better customers.

There’s a line for passport appointments. Your “appointment” is actually a reservation to stand in a line that can stretch for hours. If you get there early, you’ll still be late. This place is a full-on, total joke.

Came in with our five-month-old son for his first passport. We were 10 minutes early for our appointment. After checking us in, they made us wait outside the office for over an hour and a half with no updates. We couldn’t even get out of line to change his diaper, because we thought we could get called in any minute!
I don’t know why they would book such a huge group of people for the same time slot, when they only have three people working there and only two people processing applications.
I also don’t understand why they don’t let a newborn get ahead in line. Who needs a screaming baby at a government office? Even the airlines can do that.

Now I know why this USPS has a very terrible review!
Passport officers are very very rude.
They are not very welcome and very impolite. No smile or say hi at all.
My wife did not fill out the form for my little son because she did not know and it her first time create a new passport for the son and then the officer told us to go back and reschedule the appointment which will take a week or more!
Which if we fill out the form will take only a few minutes!
And then the officer still taking more walk-ins. But told us (the one who made appointment to go home)
I am very disappointed because of the service.

To mail a package there were 5 people in line, so I attempted to use the self serve kiosk. OMG! All the questions to answer. And then I realized that the printed mailing label would've been too big . So so the time wasted answering and trying to get the machine to weigh the package, I could've been finished if I had waited in line for counter service. That line went fairly fast and the clerk was nice. I saw there was also an area to handle passports.

For passport services. Got here at 8:30, was standing in line for 55 min. Even though I had an appointment, they called everyone in at 9:25. After I got in I was processed in 2 min.

Asian old lady OKKIE is TERRIBLE. Rude, and pathetic.. cannot hear apparently. Very slow on purpose, doesn't understand and wasted 1 month. Made mistake on PObox and is extremely rude everytime I go in there. Needs upper authority to take action immediately on this useless worker. I wait for my turn and she acts like, nothing important, says can't hear what I said, when I said it loud enough, and didn't send application. 2 weeks later I show up it's still not sent, and application isn't processed, but I made sure on first day of application , they assured me it will be taken care of. Well it did not, she didn't send it, walked in over 10 times for a simple PO BOX told her why she can't open BOX. She immediately gets rude, " I call manager" . This is something she can handle, but doesn't want to. I need USPS to make sure she pays up for my time because the PO box isn't open yet even still

I went to this location for Passport services and they surpassed my expectations. It was not a long line before I was seeing. They saw people in an orderly fashion. It was nice, clean and quiet and the agent there handled my Passport request with care and responsibility. I feel very confident in knowing it was going to be taken care. Of a s a p, I use the expedited service, it was a bit pricey but worth it.
