I had the best car buying experience ever at Star Mazda in Glendale. My salesperson Raymond Cadena was very professional and he was not pushy at all. He was very transparent working the deal with us, he explained the numbers and the finance rate that was available to me. No hidden fees or surprises at time of signing our contract. Great service and nice inventory.I will keep doing business in the future with Star Mazda, and I will definitely will recommend my family and friends to come and buy cars from Raymond Cadena.Mynor Daniel Rodas

AVOID AVOID AVOID -- leaving the first negative yelp review of my life to warn people: this place is the absolute worst, and I can't believe I let them scam me for years. It started early, so I really have no excuse for not seeing the red flags. Initially, I asked them to install the navigation system so I could hook my phone up to the car. They charged me $400, and installed their own deeply useless navi system. I was frustrated--I'd clearly asked for a navigation system that I could hook my phone up to. They pointed out I hadn't asked for apple carplay by name, and I conceded that I hadn't. I paid for apple carplay on top of the other useless navi, and that time they installed it. I wished they'd clarified before installing their useless navi, but decided it must've been an honest miscommunication, and let it go. In hindsight, I should've taken the clue and found another dealership.I paid for USWC Maintenance and USWC Service Contract when I bought my car up in the bay, and was told that'd mean all basic maintenance is covered. When I went to Star Mazda, they said a lot of confusing stuff about exceptions and being outside of warranty even though I'd *just* bought it, adding fees for things like "turning the wheels"--and proceeded to charge me $400+ per visit. Again, I was all "well, I don't really know things about cars, this is probably fine, they wouldn't just *lie* to a costumer."Then I hit my tipping point. They charged me $670 for a replacement of a part I wasn't sure I needed, but they pressured me into getting. I felt weird and gross after the experience, and decided to try out another dealership, just to see if this was a universal thing. NEWS FLASH: nope! This is just Star Mazda being awful! The new place was like "oh, yeah, your contract absolutely covers basic maintenance, which we would've only charged $110 for anyway, but yeah, it's free."I'm on the fence over whether I'm going to sue them over this. Gonna talk to the lawyers in family and the USWC people, see what they say.

ASK FOR GEOFFREY! OMG! Geoffrey made this deal so amazing!! I never thought I could save so much money/time at a dealership and have so many laughs! I genuinely would recommend Geoffrey to all my family and friends. So excited for our new Mazda and happy to be a part of the Mazda family. Already seeing the coast in it and onto our first of many family road trips!

I have to put a star but they deserve no STARSConsumers beware Star Mazda has ownership and mgmnt team (Jonathan Mach-GM, SSoni -GM, Alex -GM all ignored my emails and phone calls and just refused to acknowledge the "lemon", they sold that had engine issues a month after purchase they have been in business a long time, how I don't know because I thought they were a trusted dealership afterall; I went to them all to be sold a lemon, check it out below. I am taking them to court.I am writing to bring to your attention a matter of great concern regarding a vehicle purchase from Star Mazda on July 24, 2023. I acquired an Audi 5, and within 30 days of the purchase, the check engine light illuminated. When I approached Star Mazda's service department for assistance, I was advised to take the vehicle to Audi for inspection as they do not handle repairs for Audi vehicles. This situation has led to significant distress and financial strain as the vehicle, which was expected to be covered under a 2-year full engine/transmission agreement, faced issues soon after the purchase. Star Mazda's redirection to Audi for inspection was unexpected and added an extra layer of complexity to the situation. To provide some context, I had initially purchased a Mazda C3 from Star Mazda in February following a car accident that resulted in the total loss of my previous vehicle. Unfortunately, the Mazda C3 proved to be unsuitable for my needs as it caused severe back pains due to its low design. After several test drives, I opted to trade in the Mazda C3 for the Audi 5 based on Star Mazda's assurance that it was inspected and in excellent condition. Moreover, I was promised a 2-year full engine/transmission agreement to provide peace of mind regarding potential issues.Given these circumstances, I believe I am owed compensation of $8000 for the purchase of a defective vehicle and the subsequent failure to honor the agreed-upon warranty. The unexpected need to involve Audi for inspection, coupled with the recurring issues, has caused undue stress and financial hardship.

For the second time in two years I've been absolutely floored by the terrible service I've received. Last year I had an appointment where I stated what needed to be done and after hours of waiting on my appointed date I was told they did not have the parts required. Today, once again it's the same story. They have the car make year and model on file, asked me prior to the appointment what I needed and after taking off work, waiting 4 hours and hiring someone to pick up and watch my kids, I get a call saying once again they don't have the parts with no compensation.

I’m giving this dealership 2 stars because the service and experience during my appointment was phenomenal at first. I noticed how kindly I was treated and how smooth the service appointment went.A few hours after leaving the dealership, I walked to my car and found it was in the process of getting towed out of my apartment complex. It turned out that the maintenance team at Star Mazda removed my personal parking permit sticker from my windshield and replaced it with a Star Mazda sticker. I didn’t notice at first, because the sticker was the same size and placed exactly in the spot that my parking pass sticker was. This seemed very intentional. Even if it wasn’t, there shouldn’t have been anything removed from my car without my permission … that’s theft. The parking pass is $100 to replace and my car can’t be parked in my complex lot until I purchase a new one. I called the dealership while they still should’ve been open (7:39pm) and no one working at the dealership picked up or called back, even after an urgent message was left. The operator told me I had to wait til the next day to be helped.I’m extremely disappointed in the service I received and paid for.

I am writing to express my profound overwhelming sense of frustration, anger, and deep disappointment regarding the appalling post-purchase experience I have endured at Star Mazda. On May 16, 2023, I made the unfortunate decision to purchase a 2023 Mazda CX30. What has followed since then can only be described as a nightmarish ordeal that has left me questioning my faith in your brand and dealership.Shortly after acquiring the vehicle, a disturbing and incessant clicking sound began emanating from the car. Recognizing this as an undeniable defect, I immediately took my car to Star Mazda in the hopes of resolving the issue. What transpired next can only be described as an exercise in incompetence and utter disregard for customer satisfaction.I was informed by your service team that in order to diagnose the problem, my car would need to be held at the dealership for an egregious five days. Considering the significant inconvenience this posed to me, I requested a loaner car. However, the response I received was both infuriating and dismissive. I was informed that no loaner car was available and that I would be added to a list, presumably to wait indefinitely for a mere courtesy that should be a basic expectation from any reputable dealership. In the subsequent weeks, I attempted to engage with your dealership on numerous occasions. I called, I visited in person, and I practically begged for a resolution to this issue. However, each interaction served only to highlight the gross incompetence and lack of care exhibited by Star Mazda. The refrain was unchanging: "We don't have a loaner car available."Three long and agonizing months have now passed since I initially sought your assistance. Regrettably, the issue remains unresolved, and I have yet to receive a single update or communication from your dealership. This astounding level of neglect and indifference is beyond comprehension and speaks volumes about your commitment to providing even the most basic level of customer service.I cannot help but express my disbelief and disappointment at the stark disparity between the seemingly positive reviews your dealership has garnered and the woeful reality that I, as a paying customer, have experienced. In closing, I must convey my utmost dissatisfaction and demand immediate action. The post-purchase service I have received is nothing short of abhorrent. I implore anyone considering a Mazda purchase to think twice before engaging with Star Mazda. This is a dealership that has utterly failed in its duty to provide even a modicum of respect, support, and care to its customers.

Wish I could give 0 star. Sales rep REFUSED to unlock the door for customers to take a look from the inside. I refuse to believe this is how every customer is treated, so it's clear to me this is discrimination.

Highly recommend the service department at this dealership location. They were very responsive and provided great service. Luis G. helped me out with replacing my infotainment system and made the process very easy. He was also able to answer all questions I had and was very patient with me. Out of the many Mazda dealerships I have gone to, this was the only place I felt was straight forward with me. Luis updated me with every step and had everything taken care of within a day of initial contact. Also wanted to mention out if all the SoCal Mazda dealers I have been to, this location actually had loaners, provided shuffle service and offered Lyfts. I didn't have to stay at the dealership during my service or find my own ride to the Americana. Big plus!

Extremely uptight and unknowledgeable salespeople. Many cars had no window stickers and unclear pricing. Small selection. Would not recommend.

Francisco was a great help and had patience with us as we came to an agreement. He is a very understanding person and I would recommend him for anyone that is looking to get a new Mazda car.

I asked twice for them to check if there was a nail in my driver side front tire. They said no nail. Got home, guess which tire was flat and had a huge nail in it.
