Sevan Market has been open for years but hasn't been reviewed? It's a small, cramped Armenian grocery store with a deli, fresh produce, spices, teas, nuts, baked goods from local bakeries (e.g., pita, lavash), frozen foods, snacks, liquor, etc. The deli has cured meats, smoked fish, and cheese. They don't sell fresh meat but shop next door, Sipan Meat Market, does. It looks like they make their own pickled vegetables. The produce looked reasonably fresh but most items did not have prices. The bulk nuts had prices but no descriptions. For example, they had several flavors of pistachios but you couldn't tell what the flavors were. The displays are a bit cluttered and the store feels cramped.

Man, If youre a Vegan, You might not wanna step foot in here lol. We checked this meat market over the holidays and i experienced a whole bunch of exotic meats again. I purchased some beef, Chicken, Lamb, Eeel and you name it. Im not much of a steak eater. But they have all of the Rib Eye you can imagine. Little Vegetables and fruit here too. My first time here, I was impressed with the meats. There were no masks enforcement, But i dont really care, I still wore mine. Staff were cool. Hope i have the chance to visit here again. We have very few stores like these in Orange County. But that could change in the future.

Best meat market in Glendale and the surrounding area. The quality is second to none. Fresh meat is guaranteed everyday. If you haven't tried the cabbage rolls made in house, you're not living. The Armenian men behind the counter are nothing but lovely and helpful. I'm thankful to have this store in my community.

Does not enforce masks. Just walked out - 3 people with no masks out of about 8 in the store. All the employees were polite, but keep us safe before pleasantries, please.

The ribeyes. The marinated ribeyes. Do yourself a favor and get some of these. Phenomenal. Fantastic selection of fresh meats. I always get a few baby back slabs to use my own rubs, some of their marinated thick cut pork chops, and short ribs. If you are having a bbq and you want to deliver quality & impress your people, this place does not disappoint! The guys that run it are laid back, knowledgeable & friendly. Also, get some grape leaves and cabbage rolls (both vegetarian) for the non-carnivores at your party. Kaboom. win/win.

Definitely the best meat in the area. The only place I go to get ribs, short rib, chicken, quail. Try the jalapeño-cilantro hummus that they make in house. Also the pickles!

Bah rev! The workers behind the counter are so friendly and helpful. This is my go to place to get beef short rib plates. On my last visit, I picked up some caviar that I used for my stuffed egg shell appetizer.

I really want to give this place 1 star for my purchase but that isn't fair because I didn't buy anything else. The meats all looked good and the place is very clean. From a customer service experience it is as good as you can get from a butcher in Glendale. My problem was that I was in search for sweetbread. Those of you who don't know it is not sweet, not it's it bread. It is the thymus or pancreas of the cow or veal. I first had it at Lala's Argentinian restaurant and fell in love. Well I saw that they had it in their website so I went. First of all they was frozen, which I later found out is common. However it made it hard to check for quality. At $6.99 per pound it seemed like an ok price. So I bought about 2 lbs in two separately frozen bags. I was in Glendale so I decided to see if there were other places that had it and I found this great Argentinian butcher down the street and they had thawed sweetbread at $4.99 a pound. I prepared that one and one from Sevan and was surprised to find that there was a significant amount of fat on the one from Sevan. Plus after I soaked it in milk overnight the one from Sevan was much not as soft as the one from the Argentinian place. I never got to eat the one from Sevans because I took both to my friend's place to barbecue and nobody else would eat it cuz they thought it was gross. So I ate the one from the Argentinian place by myself and accidentally left the one from Sevan at my friend's house. Then this week I defrosted the other pound of sweetbread and was shocked by the amount of fat. I would say 3/4 of what I bought was fat. And the meat would not get tender like the other one I bought from the Argentinian place. It was ridiculous! So I decided to write a review but again the other meats were fresh-looking and so I can only comment on what I bought. Basically what I'm saying is do not buy the sweetbread here. Look up the Argentinian butcher that is very close by.

Heard about this place from my co worker. Amazing quality of meat! I got the beef/lamb and chicken lule, so much flavor, nothing extra needed. My whole family enjoyed it for our bbq there's was nothing left. Even the kids loved it. I also got all the side fixings - cilantro hummus, jagugeh, garlic yogurt, tabouleh and beet salad all so good!

Meat is always fresh. Marination on point ! Love how the meat isn't marinated with a lot of salt, so people that are not salty eaters can actually enjoy the meat. You can just add it to your tastings. It's our go to spot for all out Armenian bbq needs. From veal to lamb to ground luleh. Omg the kebob marination is SOOOO GOOD !!!! just by typing right now, I'm craving for Armenian bbq. Highly recommend it !

Seven Meat Market is one of those places you wish you could visit every weekends for a bbq. I would but it's pricey the meat however is a standard above. They offer a wide variety of different cuts of meat and marinated bbq. The kabob is great and so are the lamb chops. I stopped by to pick up an Armenian grill for when I cook kabob. They have a few selections ranging from $130-280. Well worth it however I wish the grill grate I bought with it was more sturdy. They offer charcoal and fresh groceries as well. Family owned business and friendly staff who are very helpful. Try their picked vegetables or other selections they are delicious.

OMG! Their meat are amazingly seasoned. It's pricy but worth the time and money , introduced by Armenian friend and every other week we drive for 40 minutes to purchase our BBQ meat from this store. Just amazing
