Carlos is the best! He help me to find foundation shade for my skin and introduce me to a Rose inc foundation that I really really love now. I came in to get my skin IQ thing and he explained more about my skin and concerns! Carlos saw how the shade that was recommended by the IQ result is not the perfect match for me and he recommended another similar shade and boy, he's just the expert on that! His pick fits more on my skin rather than the IQ results! I'm not a foundation wearer either and I used to care less about foundation but I know basic stuff on that (primer first, brush vs. Beauty blender, etc). I also have combo dry oil skin and my skin is just loving it. First of all, I have read reviews that some primer won't blend well and Carlos also told me that primer isn't necessary. Yes it's a medium coverage, and I prefer that than full coverage because it gives your natural look but flawless ;) He also gave me some recommendations on other skincare brands that I'm not familiar with but fits my skin needs. He also answered my questions about differences between brands that I have been watching. I have never invested a $54 worth of foundation before but I appreciate Carlos to help me find what fits my skin and it has clean ingredients too!

I came in here to find a foundation shade of the new Lancome since they reformulated. Im usually hesitant and shy to ask for a color match especially being poc but Carlos was so amazing and helpful!! He helped me find a perfect match and sent me home with samples to take home and test out before deciding to buy!

I don't think these girls are lgbtq friendly, maybe there just stuck up or as i like to say, they are to much in there as because they working at this location. Some of them should invest into actual taking cosmetology classes oh and the girl with the botched lips she needs to know how to peruse a costumer. Buttt there was a girly that actually helped and was supper sweet, she knew the assignment ,S/o to her she know who she is

Went to get a perfume they had only 5-6 perfume sample bottles for mens and when i asked them is this all they have the lady came opened the drawer and took out rest of the samples not a pleasant experience when you have to ask them so they take out the bottles its hilarious instead got the perfume from nordstrom since they had everything on display and you could access and spray as much perfume you wanted

This review is for the manager Diana/Dee! I just wanted to thank you for being so kind and welcoming to my friend and I at the store last night (2/11) around 7pm. Despite the store being pretty packed, you were willing to help and even gave us that perfume advice that I will def be using forever from now on! Keep doing what you're doing! Your kindness and heart do not go unnoticed! :)

CARLOS was amazing at helping my friend choose her correct shade of foundation ,he focused on the undertones and set her face to make sure even if she oxidize it still matched perfectly ….Amazing customer service Carlos .

Ladies if you're a woman/man of color ,Carlos won't stop until he matches your shade to a T! ...my friend was a little un decisive so he went ahead and gave her 3 samples ,best customer service ! Loved meeting you Carlos . Also I hope this is the Sephora at the American I'm reviewing .

I went to Sephora a couple of days ago and asked a very rude employee with faded Purple hair I believe her name is Maya(I think) I just know her name starts with an M. She was very rude when I asked her where the puff powder were. She saw me standing waiting patiently to ask her a question but chose to ignore me. She was asking customers if anyone was paying with Apple Pay. When she finally answered my question I got in line and told her I am paying with Apple Pay. She told me to hold on and eventually walked away and clocked out. I asked an employee what her name was and was also told she was a very rude person. The customer service she provided was horrible. Other girls were amazing and super helpful.

Avoid Avoid !!!!tatted heavy set chick is very rude ,loud ghetto and rolls her eyes when asked about a product,they are not friendly at all and don't bother to help you ,very messy place too I love sephora but this one is the worst and unprofessional!!

It would of been nice, if Sephora trained their employees to be more respectful towards women with small children. I had a very bad experience today, where we were in Sephora, I was trying to buckle my child safely in her stroller, which took more than a minute, where an extremely unprofessional and rude employee tried to push me aside and squeeze through me, and keep in mind, that I was not blocking the way, she just chose to be lazy and squeeze through me. What a shame Sephora, hire better employees.

I took my girlfriend to get some makeup for her birthday, Erin did the worst customer service ever. She did a makeup match, the makeup was too dark for my girlfriend, she put some used makeup, and my girlfriend got an allergic reaction ?. If you go to Sephora at the Americana please get another person. You need to see your employees and train them really well.

Can’t shop in peace cuz the workers thing your stealing every sec . Some girl kept tryna give me a basket after I didn’t need mine and then was wispering saying we were in line ; u don’t get paid enough to be stalking people throughout the store

When you have to take off the eye makeup as soon as you get home…I went in on Saturday and asked for something natural with no eyeliner and when she told me to look in the mirror I almost cried. She put black eyeliner not only on my lids but in my waterline and under my bottom lashes. Then I told her please take it off and she irritated my eyes so much because it was waterproof and it wouldn’t come off. She didn’t even do my eyebrows. She kept saying it was perfect so I trusted her but then when she showed me the “finished look” and I wanted to wipe it all off then and there. I just wanted to get out of there and it was supposed to be a $60 60 minute appointment but it somehow came out to $86? I should have known it was gonna be bad when she charged me before I got to see myself. As I was leaving she even told a coworker “she was upset because of the eyeliner” yeah duh. Waste of time and money.
