My friends and family have been coming to the Glendale Galleria for years and absolutely love Bloomingdales. Excellent selection of designer, contemporary, and classic brands, while offering consistent customer service year after year. Shout out to their LV and Saint Laurent boutiques! I've only had excellent experiences at both and love that my purchases count toward Bloomingdales points.

I just had a very disturbing experience with a customer service worker at this location. My mother had noticed she was missing an item refund from a couple days ago and came to ask to resolve the issue. She spoke to the same individual that helped her return the items only a couple days ago. After numerous attempts to make this individual understand the situation, he refused to believe my mother and said there was nothing he or the management could do. I understand there is always procedures to follow for the store, however, the way it went about was very disappointing. I hope this isn't a constant issue among others, but judging from the reviews, it doesn't have the best reputation. Expected more from a "high end" store.

Definitely one of my favorite retailers. I love the way most of the brands they carry - at least last season when I went . Were well selected for the store . I found what I needed. 99% of the time I shop on Bloomingdales.com but I had the rare urge to shop in person that day .I'm a man that's tall with a more muscular "v" shaped torso so it can be a challenge to find something that fits me well . I usually have to settle for something " slim fit " that I find terribly tight as my shoulders can be too broad for cuts like that . So I usually stick to thier in house label to find items that I can wear. I also find thier in house lable to ironically last longer than some of the name brand designers they carry .The store was well maintained . I did not speak to the staff as I already knew what I wanted .

I am in this store sometimes multiple times a week. It's got great items and the layout is cool for men. Check out the shoe section and the glass case is always filled with cool trinkets etc.

All the personnel were super nice . And friendly . Beautiful shop and the checkered flooring always does it for me . They had the women's section full of two piece sets and I'm die to go back to try some on and take some home . I was in such a hurry but I really need to take a closer look and go back to see

I really like Bloomingdale's. Love their clothing and shoe collection as well the hand bags department and jewelry department. Great quality also.And most important I've always received superb service here.

I have been shopping for dresses at Bloomingdale's for years, and I have never experienced customer service like this. Celeste G. in the dresses department went ABOVE AND BEYOND for me today! She took care of me from start to finish and ensured that I had the best experience shopping for a dress for my event. She even found me a pair of earrings that would match my dress perfectly. I am so grateful for Celeste and her service because she made me feel so amazing during my time shopping. I would recommend that if you need a dress for any occasion you visit her because she will not only help you, but make your entire day with her warm smile and personality!!!!

I was looking for a specific jewellery brand that they happened not to carry at this Bloomingdale-Glendale. The way I was talked to was quite rude, dismissive and I was treated as if I was some sort of person who would never buy. They were very pushy, vultures-like, they pointed at some emeralds, they were alright. But sorry ladies, I got myself a 7 karat one a few years ago in Europe, plus I got one in the 90's, thus spare me your attitude.Particularly dismissive was a petite woman associate, thin and with straight hair, well she had an devilish manner, oh so unpleasant. Never ever again will walk by here.Also, I wish to share with Yelp community that I did not mean at all to brag about what I have. But I wrote it Only so that these people understand not to assume wrong ideas based on I know not what.

Terrible experience. I tried to return a Balenciaga bag. Even though it was brand new, never used and within the return policy period they refused to take it back. They claimed that it was Balenciaga's representative decision despite the fact that I purchased the item inside the Bloomingdale's store. They are usually very nice when I spend thousands of dollars there but when I once tried to return an item they basically told me that I should have no hopes to get helped.This is the Glendale store and the manager I had the interaction with was Bryan Alcala. The Balenciaga manager at the Bloomingdal's was Yolanda Johnson who was extremely rude and arrogant. She should have no business of dealing with people. All she cares is to get the commission, after that you are no one to her.

Not my favorite bloomingdale's, it's very small and a bit too label conscious. but I was having repair work done on my car and it was nearby. The store was immaculate and looked stunning. I shopped for about 20 minutes, paying attention to the clearance racks with an extra % discount. There was one associate in Men's Fragrances who did not acknowledge me and a group of three associates/ managers in Men's Clothing trading store gossip. I came back an hour(11 am) later and looked thru the sake racks again. This location does not carry Polo Ralph Lauren, but it usually a small amount or returned merchandise. I found a pair of overalls ( very rare) and a button front shirt. Now the challenge of buying. I went up to two manager looking people, and the woman looked at me as if offended for being mistaken for a sales person. I think all bloomies staff should be trained to use a cash register, Luckily, Mickey rang uo my sale and she was quick and efficient. Upon my request, she allowed me to take Best Holiday Ever catalog with me. Another manager type informed me id received $25 from my LoyalList account that I could use the following day. I left very satisfied and would recommend Mickey to other shoppers.

Super disappointed!! This location is awful. The clothing manager is super super rude. I was trying to change a damaged dress which wasn't my fault I didn't even have chance to wear the dress. She blamed me saying I wore it multiple times which I didn't. I told her that I only wore the dress to show my husband and I didn't argue with her but she doesn't deserve to work there. Worst customer service. She was super rude by her comments but again I didn't want to continue to argue with this uneducated girl. Now I have a dress for which I paid $750 to sit in my closet or it will end up in the trash. Will never shop from this location. Very bad customer service!!!!!!

So I have been a Bloomingdale's client my entire life. My mom has been shopping here (at the Sherman Oaks location) since long before I was born. However, after a few dozen times of sub-par customer service at the Sherman Oaks location, I decided to try the Glendale location. Initially, the first time I came here was with my then-fiancée. We purchased items for our (then-upcoming) Wedding. Unfortunately, the engagement was broke off, and the wedding never happened. This past week, I had to come in and exchange items for my wedding that was not going to be happening anymore. As you can imagine, I am currently going through so much stress, a range of emotions and was feeling sick/depressed going to return the items for our wedding.Arshen, a tall, dark haired man in the Men's department, was so kind. He helped me so much with so much empathy and patience. I truly have never had someone treat me with such respect at ANY Bloomingdales location. THANK YOU Arshen!! You have no idea how much this "small" interaction meant to me. Also, Robert upstairs in the women's department was very kind and asked me if I was satisfied with the customer service. Thank you to both of you, and I hope that Bloomingdales corporate sees this!! Much love.
