Greg was so lovely and accommodating- he was able to resize both my partner's and my antique rings in minutes without messing up the hallmarks. He even offered to clean my engagement ring for me, which I would have taken him up on if I'd had time to do it! We look forward to going back to him to get our rings engraved- they do stunning designs. So happy to have found an amazing jeweler not based in DTLA.

My husband and I were visiting the family in LA. While on a stroll down Montrose we came across this jewelry store and decided to go in just out of curiosity. We were immediately greeted by Joe who made us feel so welcomed. He showed us his beautiful handcrafted collection and explained in detail what goes into designing the perfect diamond ring. Long story short, my husband decided to leave my wedding diamond for a new setting designed by Joe. Five weeks later my beautiful new wedding rings arrived to Florida. Thank you Joe and your amazing jewelers for designing my perfect ring! I LOVE IT!!

I looked for awhile for a place to take my jewelry to get repaired and this place was great! They were informative and quick! In less than three hours they had fixed and cleaned two rings. They also helped me pick a stone to add to one of the rings that had lost one. They explained every step to me. I will definitely be going back!

All I can say is that this place puts forth the most personal, caring approach possible to help select the perfect engagement ring. I went with these guys because the guys who run it are fantastic people, aren't pushy or sales-y, and the only thing they care about is making sure you select the best ring possible within your budget. Greg was immensely helpful to me (and my fiancé, who I brought in as well to look at some designs). Never tried to up-sell us on anything. His primary focus was on what WE wanted / needed. In fact, he even talked us DOWN from a few designs that were more expensive solely based on the style we were looking for and what he felt would be the "perfect fit." Just a great guy. The ring was customized completely, and came out PERFECT! Highly suggest people go here for their engagement ring. These guys are the best, bar none (WAY better than any other shop I visited).

Thank you Greg for doing an amazing job on my wedding ring!! The diamond on my ring was loose and was getting caught in my hair, I knew it was time to get it fixed before it fell out and got lost. I also needed the engagement and wedding ring fused together and a few little diamonds replaced. I went to Montrose Jewelers and Greg explained how he would make changes to make the ring stronger but not change the look of the ring, by cutting the prongs off and make new ones. I was so worried that the ring would look different than its original design, but I was so happy and pleased when I went to pick it up!!! The prongs were made for the diamond, and the two bands were fused perfectly together, it was the same just better! I’m in love with my “new” old ring! I’ll be going back when I need more jewelry surgery.

We came to see Greg for an engagement ring. Best decision ever! He took great care, kept us close to our budget, and created exactly what we wanted. And the ring, is absolutely beautiful. I recommend Montrose Jewelers 100%! Greg explained in detail what he was going to do, even showed me some issues that we had with some diamonds that we brought. And did it all within a couple weeks. We will definitely return to him for future work!

I smiled all the way home. What a great jewelry store! I had a necklace chain and pendant, neither worth any money, but very sentimental. The manager patiently (and kindly) explained options and costs for repair AND did the work on the spot! The price was totally reasonable. The store was immaculate and had so many different pieces of gorgeous jewelry on display. Like so many of the 5-star reviewers say, the store is a gem itself and I am so happy to have discovered them.

Joe was beyond helpful in my search for a wedding band. I came in a few times to try on different options and he never once pressured me to purchase on the spot. He was honest in pricing and even worked with my budget. He custom made the exact one I wanted. Couldn't recommend them enough!

Love, love this place! I originally came here to get my engagement ring re-sized. I came here because my fiance and I were having a hard time (to say the least) with the original jeweler. Greg and his brother Joe were SO helpful in talking to me about my ring, recommending ways to properly set and redesign the ring. Coming here and having my ring re-desinged and re-set was like an energy reset for my ring. Now every time I look at my ring, I just feel this sense of relief and joy! I highly recommend this place for all your jewelry needs!

Greg and his team at Montrose Jewelers are absolutely amazing!! I was looking for an engagement ring and Greg made this process very enjoyable.
