The best chocolate you can ever eat. They also provide free samples in store so you can try different flavors before buying one. My choice is milk chocolate with almond (the ine that they typically offer as free sample at the store entrance)

I've gotten Laderach a couple times, mostly for gifts but they are so good! This is my first time visiting this location and although they are not as friendly as other locations I've been to, they workers were still nice. They were holding a plate of samples and we each got to try 2 pieces. Their chocolates are so smooth and creamy. Flavors are also unique! I think they would make great gifts because they package it so nicely.

Varo is the reason we walked into this store! His warm welcome, contagious smile, and charming offerings were attention grabbing. He gave us a load of information about the different chocolates and spent lot of time to help us find exactly what we liked. He is an amazing employee with exceptional customer service. Loved it!!!

Attentive customer service and attention was a highlight of my visit. The individual I dealt with was eager to share her knowledge of the chocolate making process, the variety of products, and several samples for tasting and comparison.As delectable as this Swiss-made chocolate is, the in-store experience is what made it memorable.

I originally had Laderach when they came to the South Coast Plaza and was amazed at how good the chocolate was. Laderach has taken over the Glendale Godiva location and honestly Godiva in general. The chocolate is good but it is quite pricey. You are looking at about $55/pound. You will have the ability to try out any flavor your want before you buy. They also have many seasonal flavors throughout the year for you to come back in and check in. If the chocolate bark is not your thing, they do also have truffle pieces and other chocolate options to choose from! My favorite is the chocolate cornflake and my wife's is the strawberry white chocolate! The almond chocolate is great too! In terms of just chocolate - I believe this chocolate is far superior to Godiva and Sees Candy!

This is the best chocolate I have ever had in my life, by far (and I've been to Belgium & Western Germany)! The only thing better than the quality of the chocolate is the quality of the staff. Fariah, an employee I had the pleasure of interacting with recently, was the absolute best to work with. She was so personable and caring! Also, the red headed shift lead (I can't recall her name at the moment) is so on top of everything! She is an expert in dietary restrictions and makes sure that people with dairy or nut allergies get the same treatment that anyone else would. There are plenty of dairy free options here, by the way! I would absolutely recommend this place to ANYONE looking for the very best chocolate in LA.

BEST CHOCOLATE!! I was walking in the mall and was craving something sweet. I found läderach and they were giving free samples. Right when you walk in you can see all the fresh chocolates lined up. Each chocolate different from one another. They generously give as many samples as you want. Hands down THE BEST CHOCOLATE I've ever had... They have so many different kinds you can choose from but my top three favorites are raspberry white chocolate, strawberry white chocolate, and hazelnut.

So happy to see Läderach is so close to my home. Last year I had a trip to Switzerland and I loved Läderach. Varo is super nice he is always helpful and he gives me to try anything I want to before I purchase. He also recommends a lot of chocolates that you don't notice on the display sometimes. I found out that my favorite is cashew and hazelnut. I love big whole nuts inside the chocolate!

The hours on Yelp are wrong. Yelp says they open at 10AM but they open at 11AM. Chocolates are amazing here! Their chocolate bars are very famous and I always stop by to get the 80%.

Her name is "fareeah" and she is one of the most accommodating attendants inside the store. She was very knowledgeable about the chocolates and even gave my kids extra for them to taste and enjoy. Thank you. We had a blast. We def will come back for more and hope to see u again there .

The chocolate tastes delicious, and the staff and manager provided excellent service. It is a bit pricey, but I honestly think its worth it considering the quality of chocolate you receive. This is now my favorite chocolatier, and I am definitely coming back here!
