I went to Jack's Lube (owner Vic) to get an oil change per recommendation from a friend. He is very nice and knowledgeable and this will now be my auto repair shop to go to.

Went to 4 different mechanic shops in glendale trying to find one that's both trustworthy and has fair prices. I've had very bad experiences with so many mechanics and this one is a breath of fresh air. I won't take my car elsewhere in the future!

I feel like after many of searching I found my car place. The guys that work here are very good, fast, friendly, and fair. They always break down the prices and go above and beyond checking everything making sure your car is tiptop.

I came in this week needing someone to take a look at my car as I bought it only a week ago and the check engine light had immediately come on. The mechanic (whose name I unfortunately don't remember, but he's the owner I believe) took my car in for a few hours and immediately found the issue. He found 3 codes and explained them all to me simply, and also informed me that the seller I had bought the car from fudged the smog without me even telling him the circumstances of the sale. The seller wouldn't let me take the car off the lot to get it coded because they claimed they didn't want the car to be driven uninsured, and got the car smogged the day of purchase. I was suspicious of their "kindness" in smogging it, but didn't want to think the worst. The mechanic explained that the light immediately came on after driving for a couple of days because they had only reset and flooded the transmission to get the light to turn off - didn't actually pass smog. He gave me his personal opinion and my most affordable choices and reassured me that this happens, the car is in clean condition aside from that, and recommended going to a transmission shop as they are far more affordable than dealers / others. I went to the transmission shop (sunset transmission) and they also gave me their amazing advice and the situation has been taken care of! Thank you again SO much Jacks lube, I was so intimidated and confused at first and you made my week so much less stressful and answered every question (even the stupid ones!) with the upmost respect and kindness :,) Best, a very grateful 19 year old with her first car. (Ps - don't buy any cars from an alex on mchenry!)

Vicken and his crew are excellent mechanics. They service vehicles of all kind: Rolls Royce, Jaguar, Mercedes Benz, Cadillac, Toyota FJ Cruisers, Hondas, Acuras, etc. Vicken, the owner is very trustworthy, reliable, knowledgeable, keeps up-to-date on technology, etc. and is very pleasant. The best! So honest and won't tell you your car needs something it doesn't. Been seeing Vic for about 20 years... about time I left a review : ) Because of him, we still have our 2004 and 2013 cars running great (original owners). Once in a while I'll take one of the family cars to the dealer for an oil change since they're a mile from my house and Jack's is 10 miles away. Anytime the dealer recommends work to be had, I ask for a quote and Jack's typically gets it done for 25-50% less than the dealer's cost.

Do not go here. I came in for an oil change, they insisted I needed new brake pads, I went along with it, and one week later my brakes are scraping and my car is unsafe to drive. Wasted hundreds of dollars here. This is a terrible establishment.

I came here for a pre-purchase inspection and they were able to see me within an hours notice and it only took one hour for the inspection. The service was great and everyone was super nice and helpful.

While on the way back from Disneyland and 500 miles from home, our car broke down. We were extremely fortunate to exit off the freeway and pass Jack's Lube. They quickly diagnosed our car with a failed shift solenoid and referred us to a transmission shop. Jack's went above and beyond and helped us in a time of crisis.

Very disappointed. Had high hopes, was told to ask for Vic, he a great sales man so be careful.
Gave us a quote for work to be done. Charged $1100.00 to replace 1 Motor mount and a radiator. Even thought quote was for belt and all motor mounts and radiator.
Also asked for cash so he could go buy the parts. And would not give a official receipt because he said he was giving a good deal and saving is money on the taxes. Then said we could pick up car when they were closed and he would leave the key with the guy who Owens the hamburger stand.
Unbelievable....

These guys were great I love it, as a mechanic myself I didn't feel like changing my oil in my truck you no just one of them days , guys are beautiful awesome clean and fast, got to come here and don't hesitate.
