Beware i have been to this place a few different time to check out the lot and all honesty every time has been not a good experience the owner Plasty dipped the entire engine bay including the fluid containers of a 79 Camaro and wanted 12,900 for the thing it was really rough interior as well, the next time I go I look at a 17 Mazda 3 speed and I was actually interested in buying the thing till they told me they had to take the intake, and a few other things to sell it to me and they were asking for 10,900 for the thing I instantly walked out because Mazda 3 come with intakes and a bunch of upgrades from the factory. This business just wants to make quick cash and don’t care about about your experience, budget, or safety don’t come here save your money time your better off looking somewhere else.

This review is long overdue. I came across Hi Star Auto urgently in need of a car around May 2019. Mario and Vick were able to assist me in finding my car (Kia Forte) on a short notice. Best decision I ever made! They were able to work with me financially and provided me outstanding service even after my warranty/grace period. If there were any questions/concerns Mario was very responsive and made sure my car was taken care of. If you are looking for trustworthy/reliable service and cars then this dealer is for you. Thank you again HiStar!

Such a great experience. Drove by on a whim and decided to take home a beautiful Honda S2000. Mario helped me out and the process was easy and everyone was friendly.

Overall it's a nice place run by seemingly forthright people, but take a real good look at the cars, because they skimp on the finishing and the detail in my experience. I of course can't speak for any other car on this lot, but I can tell you about mine. I bought a 2014 Toyota Camry, and honestly, I shouldn't have. That's on me. I should have paid attention when the dealer was buying used cars from auction while I was test driving my car. To get a sense of where these cars were coming from. Notoriously, auction sites are not great places to pick up cars, they're usually impounds, or rental companies offloading stock. Lesson learned. When I took it to a mechanic, they pointed out that the boot on the CV Joint was damaged, and needed to be fixed, when I told the dealership about it, he said, no, it's fine. I believed him. It wasn't. I had to take the car to have the boot fixed no less than a year after I bought it, because it began doing the tell tale click of a non lubricated CV joint. Lesson Learned. I realized too late that not a lot of attention was put into cleaning the car or putting all the little plastic pieces back to their proper place. I've had to buy and replace interior plastic parts all over the car, and they're continually falling off or coming unstuck, so my car just looks unfinished or dilapidated in places. Lesson Learned. Check the interiors, check the molding, make sure that everything is seamless. The front bumper started falling off. Right now I have zip ties to hold it in place, but the front grill just doesn't fit right. I'd probably have to take it to a body shop and spend a thousand dollars to get all the little pieces of plastic, the front bumper, the front grill, painted and replaced. Did I get a good deal on the sticker price, yeah, it was good. Would I have to pay more money after purchase to get the car to look like it should from the dealership, yes, I would. Lesson Learned. A lot of this was my fault, not Hi Stars. I should have checked the plastic interior, I should have been more firm on the CV Joint boot, I should have advocated for myself, and been more insistent that either this stuff had to be fixed, or I would take my money elsewhere. I didn't. But it would have been nice if HI Star had just done it, and I didn't have to be the one to check for broken bumpers and dislocated grills. Lesson most definitely learned.

Looked at cars there a few days ago talked with sales man Nick 11/10 great man. But the man who owns it and others workers from the other store were pitiful. Really sad they are so greedy and most if not all the cars on the lot need work. Nick was happy to help and work with me on a car they had that I was interested in, but then manager came in f*$^ed me over. Wouldn't go on price and was completely rude to me and Nick the nice sales man helping me. 11/10 recommend Nick. Manager awful!!!!

One of the best car experiences I've ever had. No only did I get a great car (R8) at a great price but the whole process was actually enjoyable. Vick and Nick are easygoing, honest and friendly and went the extra mile to work the best loan deal for me. These guys are the best including Mario who offered to mail my plates to save me the trip since I live about 40 miles away. If you're in the market for a used car or truck make sure you check out Hi Star Auto/Car City Sales - you won't be sorry.
