Avoid this place at all costs! Half the time the employees do not show up during working hours.
They will lose your mail and if you have a mailbox they will cancel your account while you are traveling and throw away or reject all of your mail.
You cannot trust your professional business with these guys.

Avoid if you can. They gave me an absurd quote to ship my items (which were ultimately sent by another shipper for less than a third of the cost). After speaking with them and saying they could take out the items they claimed were responsible for the high price they gave me a revised quote that was even higher!
Update: I see they have responded to my review. The person who wrote it has worked there for fifteen days and never heard a complaint?!! Haha. Well then there's obviously no issues. If they meant 15 years, which would make more sense, then it's just a lie because there are several reviews here claiming similar complaints.
I wouldn't have expected anything different in terms of a response from a company so comfortable being unscrupulous extortionists.

Horrible dishonest rude staff and lazy self entitled employees!!! Bought cheap fake Chinese junk from an auctioneer called Orriells that claims has no association with these people then come to find out they're linked together charging outrageous fees to ship packages a county away. Then not only they Jack up the prices but incompetent staff lady that answers the phone running this business is rude obnoxious and classless screaming at paying customers for not being able to tell you where your packages is that was suppose to have been shipped 3 weeks ago. Disgusting how these people feel so privileged and entitled when you're charging ridiculous fees and providing poor service!!

I’m never one to post but this issue really left a bad taste from this place. This place is serious up to deceptive and fraudulent business practices.I have a virtual mailbox that I pay a monthly fee for through anytime mailbox. As part of this service, my plan includes (a specified amount of recycle and shred actions per month, before additional charges of $1 per action is applied). This place decide to start charging me fees and disregarding the plan I have in place…. Absolutely ignoring the agreement. Their response?…..”Because we can. Take this up with Anytime Mailbox”.Anytime mailbox comes back and says talk to the mailbox operator.I’m still fighting ridiculous issue, but to those interested in a virtual mailbox with this location…..pick somewhere else. They will dishonor any agreement you have

Set up my business mail/address here a few years ago, because they close at 6:00 p.m., and I can make it there in time, after work. But now they randomly decided to change the closing time to 5:00 p.m. on weekdays without notifying paying customers. This business isn't exactly run in a professional way.

Horrible Place! After paying $540 for shipping 2 large speakers that retail for $6600, I asked the woman at the front desk named Ashley, if I'm paying for protection. She told me the speakers would have adequate protection and insurance. However, 3 days later, my package was delivered and arrived completely smashed and destroyed. They didn't even bother to use packing foam or bubble wrap! The speakers had no protection at all. I called them and the woman tells me that I didn't have insurance with the packages and they won't do anything to compensate me. Avoid these crooks!

Had my card number stolen on my vacation by someone who uses this address for their phony business. GSC weren't the ones who stole from me, but they're enablers.

I auction a lot = All over the USA. I RARELY come across a shipping company like Glendale Shipping Center (GSC). The fact is most shippers and shipping companies suck, they just do not care. THIS IS NOT SO at GSC! Let me illustrate by recanting my experience: I won an auction and did not actually realize the shear amount that I had won. I bid on some 1990 TY Beanie Babies, each lot showed a picture of about 20, I won seven lots, but was not told that each lot was approximately 75-125 TY Beanie Babies. Yes, I won 750+ 1990 TY Beanie Babies. The auction house sent my Auction Winnings over to GSC and they called me and let me know just how MUCH I had actually won. Ashley worked with me like no other shipping company I have come across. I genuinely was impressed with everything, EVEN the communication was robust, on-time and continual! We ONLY want a Fair and Reasonable shipping company. I FOUND ONE! I just wish I could replicate the GSC all over the country. I am not sure how they train their people, but the difference is stark and wonderful! THANK YOU GSC - I truly appreciate the outstanding customer experience I was provided through your company!

I had won some auction items that were supposed to be shipped through GSC, but the location did not respond to three email requests to provide me more information on the breakdown of costs associated with my invoice. I had to call twice during business hours before someone would pick up the phone. I was told "their system doesn't break down charges" by shipping vs. handling so she couldn't tell me why it cost so much to ship my box. Which seems weird, as a professional shipping center, since UPS does it. I've even worked with shipping companies in podunk towns that can do this. It should be easy to do if you aren't adding hidden costs. The person I was speaking to became belligerent and rude with me after I asked her how many bills she pays without knowing exactly what they are for. I asked to speak to the manager, to be informed that she is the manager. She then hung up on me after telling me she'll just send my items back to the auction house. Just a fair warning -- you'll probably be fine if you don't ask any questions about their fees.

I bought several lots (Diamond tennis bracelet, earrings, original artwork, valuable collector cards, etc) at an auction valued at over $4000. I got an extremely good deal and paid less than 1/10 that amount. Glendale was hired to be the shipping company to package all the items up and ship them to me. I Received an email requesting payment for shipping which I promptly paid. Then I noticed I received another and another. I responded to one of the emails and received nothing back. When I called to ask them about it, they said that it must’ve shipped because they did not see a package with my name on the shelf. When I finally received my box, it was filled with worthless textbooks. Even worse, there was surprisingly zero info on or inside the box to determine who the items were purchased from or who they were to be sent to. After several attempts to reach them, I finally talk to someone at Glendale and they said they would try to figure it out and if they couldn’t, they would reimburse me what I paid for it. When I explained to them that the items were worth more than 10 times what I stole them for at the auction, they said they would only reimburse for what I paid. I did not receive any other communication from them even after sending six emails over several weeks to check on their progress. Finally they answered my call and were no help. I had already told them that there was no need to check on anything they shipped for the auction house because the auction house always includes paperwork, but that is what they told me they did anyways. They supposedly reached out to other customers to see if they received the right items and didn’t hear back from some of them. I asked them to look at their records of who they shipped a 30 pound box of textbooks for because in all of my experience I always had to say what I was shipping when I dropped things off for other shipping companies. I don’t understand why they couldn’t check on that unless it was meant to be an unsolvable mystery since they knew they would make thousands of dollars off of keeping my items and just reimbursing me for what I paid. I also don’t understand why anyone would spend $80 to ship a worthless box of children’s textbooks to begin with? If it was legit, you would think that the company would be checking with Glendale when their customer complained that they didn’t receive their books they ordered? I saw one other review insinuating the same mail snatch type of thing. Very upsetting!
