I want to extend my deepest gratitude to the wonderful ladies at the Fame Beauty Salon for their fantastic work on my hair and makeup in preparation for a wedding. Due to hair loss I had to wear a wig. Katrin not only took the time to meet with me beforehand to identify the best wig option for my needs, but she also was able to elevate it to it's very best potential, which greatly surpassed my expectations. Similarly, Karolin did her transformative makeup application very effectively, restoring much youth and adding beauty to an older lady.
Both ladies are masters of their respective crafts, and I am so very grateful for their exceptional work, professionalism and kindness.

I've been going to Fames for my hair styling needs for the last 10 years and I have never walked out disappointed. I've gotten my hair done by Katrin, Dione, and Seda. Each of them doing an amazing job. For my wedding Katrin was my stylist (see photos) and exceeded my expectations. No matter how long my event is, my hair always lasts. On top of it all, when you go to Fames it's more than just getting your hair done, they all make you feel very welcome and get you excited for whatever event you're going to. Customer service is always top notch! Don't second guess going to Fames for any of your beauty needs, they will take great care of you!

Anita has been amazing. She did my hair and makeup for my daughters wedding and she did not disappoint. Highly recommend her. The staff at this location are always welcoming as well.

Highly highly recommend Fames! It has been my go-to salon for the last 5+ years! Kathy, Diana and Melo are who I usually book with and I've never left the salon dissatisfied. From my wedding day to any other special occasion, this salon is the only one I trust!

If you're looking for a hairstyle for your next big event, stop looking and book at Fames. Appointments are limited and there's a reason why .... These stylists and make up artists are top notch, the best of the best and in demand. There are many salons in the area (LA/Glendale/Burbank/Pasadena) but nothing, and I mean nothing compares to Fames! Seda is the owner, she's an amazing lady and will do her very best to get you in but don't wait until the last minute, they book fast!!!

My hairdresser Seda M, recently moved her business to Fame's Beauty Salon. Seda M. Has styled my hair for the past 12 years. I was so happy when she let me know she was back so I could get my hair cut after 6 long months. I also needed a Keratin treatment because my hair is curly and thick. She does a wonderful job taming my curly frizzy locks. I highly recommend her skills when it comes to styling and straightening your hair. The Keratin treatment leaves your hair soft and and not so string straight like the Brazilian. I highly recommend Seda M, she is my favorite hairdresser

Seda has done my hair for three different occasions. The first time I went to her was 7 years ago, and I loved her work, but the last two times she did not do what I asked her to do. As I went through all the reviews I noticed that she got good reviews in the past, but in recent years her reviews have gone done. I will never return to this salon again. She is extremely expensive and she does not deliver what you ask for, and she is never honest about her prices. I paid $185 for my hair style and all she did was to put 70 pins in my head, a plastic sponge and tons of hair spray. I hope this will help others to make better choices.

I have been coming to Fame's for years and all of the ladies I've had serviced with have been wonderful! Melo is incredible when it comes to make up for special events. She really makes you look and feel fabulous. I go to Meline for eyebrows and hair cutting/styling. She has really transformed my eyebrows in the time that I have been coming to her. When it comes to cutting my hair, she is a perfectionist and does a great job every time. She does a wonderful blow dry and she did my hair beautifully for prom! Recently, I have started going to Arsineh for nails. She is gentle and is constantly checking to see if you are comfortable. I've only done gel with her, but she does beautiful acrylics as well!

I am extremely disappointed with this salon. They do not want to give me an honest answer on how much a blow dry will cost; they tried charging me $110 for a simple blowdry; and they kept hanging the phone up when I was politely asking them for help with my appointment since I'm not from California. They even took a $50 deposit and did not want to honor it. I'm extremely upset and would never recommend this place to anyone.

Pay attention to who actually does your hair. Here's what I mean by that. I was maid of honor for my sisters wedding and she and I both booked our hair appt with Seda. When we arrived Seda took my sister first and began working on her. I figured she would start on mine after she finished my sisters hair. But nope! She had her assist do everything! That girl blow dried my hair and curled it then put it up in pins and I sat there thinking when does Seda play a role? Well finally Seda stepped in to tease my entire head lol that right she didn't just tease the front or a portion of the back but the entire thing! This made my curls loosen up and my head to look large. That was the end of her work and then she charged me $150 for it. It was obvious that she charged me by title " maid of honor" not by what she did because a couple of months back on my sisters bridal shower she did the same exact work but for $65 ( at least she did the work that time ) I went home crying so much because my hair was falling apart and I felt cheated. Needless to say.. we certainly won't be going back.
