When my Mom's Panasonic Microwave stopped working I thought about just replacing it. Then I thought about Her having to learn how to operate another brand of microwave. This was her second Panasonic Microwave, The first one lasted about 5 years, This one was just under 2 years old, She was not happy with Panasonic & was thinking of switching brands. I did a little research & found Electronic Design & Services, Sam was amazing. He quickly diagnosed the problem & got to work. The owner Sam Is what I would describe as "Semi" Retired, He genuinely enjoys his work. He is one of the nicest & warmest people I've met in a long time. If you have the opportunity to bring your malfunctioning appliance to Sam, I suggest you do that. It will make your day better I promise.

Sam is truly one of the kindest, most generous, most dedicated business owners I've ever encountered. Because of his many years of experience, he was able to quickly identify and diagnose the problem with my inversion microwave and saved me from having to replace it, which I thought I'd be forced to do. It's clear that Sam goes above and beyond for his customers; he actually cares about them as human beings, which is such a rare trait in today's world. Thank you, Sam; I'll always turn to you for my Panasonic repair needs!

They are normally closed on Saturday, but Sam agreed to meet me last week end. Well, Sam did not just let me drop off the microwave. He ran the diagnostics, identifying the problem and had me out with the unit in no time. He obviously went way out of his way to help. Could not ask for a better experience.

Our Panasonic microwave went berserk just after the warranty expired, naturally. Panasonic was no help whatsoever, but the website did provide some authorized repair providers, which was good because scarcely anyone else repairs Panasonics. It took a while to get our unusual problem taken care of, but that was not Sam's fault and he eventually solved the problem. But he not only fixed it, he clearly wanted to help us with this, and clearly understood and emphathized with our frustrations. It was such a different attitude from that we encountered from everyone else we contacted. It was, for us, an unusually satisfying repair experience.

Tbh this spot fixed my microwave really quickly. Dropped it off and picked it back up in no more than 3 days. The man was really nice and even helped us out with our little warranty issue. It's a bit out of my way b/c I live an hour away but I definitely would go back if I experience anymore problems. HIGHLY recommend.

I have just dropped off my Panasonic microwave to these folks, so I will update when they are done with my repair. So far, Sam and his wife Martha (? I believe) have been more friendly, knowledgeable and professional than MOST businesses I have dealt with in the last few years. Due to the declining quality of ALL electronics these days, I chose to have my failing microwave repaired by a professional, rather than buy a soon-to-fail unit. I'm not exaggerating; heck microwave reviews carefully on even the highest rated of them on Amazon, Best Buy, etc. I found them via the Panasonic Service site and chose to drive the extra distance to "Electronic Design & Service" (vs a much closer Panasonic-recommended repair shop), because I also did some web "research" (heavy Googling) and found that Sam has got engineering credentials to warrant my trust in his abilities. SUPPORT SMALL/LOCAL BUSINESSES! They aren't all as good as Electronic Design & Service has so far been, but do some research...they're out there.

Got their number from the Panasonic Service web site. Was having an issue with a new Panasonic microwave oven. Called and spoke to Sam to see about arranging warranty repair. He walked me through some troubleshooting steps over the phone, identified the issue clearly for me, and I ultimately didn't require a repair. He was very helpful, patient and generous with his time. Ultimately it saved me a trip. I would not hesitate to contact them for service in the future.
