If I could give it a 0 star I most definitely would!!!First off to say the ER is a dirty mess, poor hygiene, no sanitation. No toilet paper or soap in the bathrooms... I can't even describe the smell. Secondly I've been here since 2pm, it is now 5:34 pm and I have not been seen. The ER advisor app that keeps track of all admitting tests and the whole ER process. At 5:20 the expected time to be called in and run tests was 10min-40min. Now at 5:35pm, the time randomly changed to 1:45-3hrs plus and the visit overview on the hospital app jumped from "initial assessment & Triage" Went down to "findings and next steps" keep in mind nothing has been done on me no blood test, not seen by a dr nothing! I ask the front desk and she said oh well that's not really accurate I wouldn't follow it!?! Really?

Brought my 73 yr old mother-in-law with history of atherosclerosis for chest pressure at 2pm, EKG wasn't performed within 10 mins. of the ED arrival (was done at around 2:45pm-3pm). She did xray and blood work, and have agreed to stay overnight for cardiac work up but she had been waiting in the lobby, wasn't placed in a room. My brother had been following up with ED staff yet weren't accommodating and didn't give any update since 5pm. Also, there was another patient who had shortness of breath, the staff didn't have the initiative to get a wheelchair and assist the patient, he let the patient walk into the room. We thought this hospital is one of the best, yet it's the opposite. I'm never bringing my family back to this place again. Poor care quality. No compassion.

The staff here is amazing! I came into ER on 11/23 due to chest pains from a car accident. I was immediately within 5 minutes taken in for vitals and plugged into an ECG machine to check my heart. I was treated with respect, and like VIP, which I didn't expect being that I have MediCal, and doctors have to invoice and wait to get paid for the services they provide. That being said, all of the nurses and doctors were absolutely some of the warmest, kindest and most empathic people I've ever met or dealt with in healthcare. My experience was positive front to end. After a full exam and chest X-Rays, I was in and out of ER within 3 hours. By far the quickest ER experience of my life. All of the staff was young, varied in ethnic origin, KIND, highly knowledgeable, gentle, and put me at ease with my diagnosis. I left there feeling happy with the treatment and the extra care I received during the visit. This was truly the BEST experience I've had in a hospital for injuries! Thank you so much for being a hospital that truly cares about your patients! Even patients on MediCal!

I arrived to the ER coughing blood clots from my lungs and vomiting, barely able to walk. My insurance is less than desirable but it's something and I'm grateful to have it - Medi-Cal. Pros and Cons:Pros: Most of the medical staff I encountered were caring and kind. Con: Other medical staff at worst were either indifferent or spread too thin or both to outwardly demonstrate care or understanding about my feelings as a patient going through a terrifying ordeal, afraid I'm going to die. Dr Gabrielle Einstein Morrow told me, prior to any testing, that I was not being admitted - (I thought yay/uh are you sure?). I guess I felt relieved that I must be okay enough to not be admitted??? I had no idea and I was given no reason. It looked like she was the only one on staff for a busy ER. How is it even possible to handle that? I'm sure she's great but that was the first and only time I EVER spoke to her. Diagnostics Pros: Received thorough testing. They went the distance as far as doing blood tests, chest X rays, CAT Scan, ECG, several hours of monitoring Cons: I didn't receive all of my labs or imaging so I could take to my PCP. Discharge: Pro - really not much good to say about this Cons- Very unsettling. Dr never came back. A nurse told me all of my labs were "good" and my lungs were clear, and I'm "stable" and handed me some papers, and was literally told where the door was, for after I got dressed. Front page of discharge paperwork with my name at the top. "SAFE PAIN MEDICINE PRESCRIBING" It goes on to say that abusing pain medicines can cause problems, yada yada ??? NOTHING about my visit had anything to do with pain meds. Maybe that was on all discharge paperwork???My "reason for visit" stated "shortness of breath" (incorrect) and my Discharge Diagnosis was "Hemoptysis" I was still coughing blood clots. One of the instructions said to come back if it happens again...It's still happening. Am I to turn around and go back as soon as I walk out the door? This was the closest hospital to me. Not sure if I would want to come back just to be wondering if it's a safe place or not. I also wonder how I would've been treated had my insurance been better, like I used to have before I lost my job. My last thought about this place is that it's better than nothing and better than Hollywood Presbyterian which was another nearby hospital. Im still frightened but I have been told I'm stable. That's is all.

Billed $8,703 for a visit with simple labs and an ultrasound - They make you jump through hoops to get an itemized bill (mailing letters, faxing etc), and in the end those are just their set prices so there's no way to fight it. My diagnoses was also read out loud in front of everyone in a busy waiting room since I was never put in a room. I was sent here from urgent care and will never be returning.

I went to their ER for what started as a heart issue. The staff was friendly and welcoming. The got me in quickly because it was dealing with the heart. Everything from their messaging app to their digital test results in real time helped me feel at ease as I knew everything that was happening as it happened. The nurses were personable and knowledgeable and Dr Thomas figured out what was ailing me and got me on my way without feeling I was waiting too long. It's a great emergency room. MR

Don't ever come here if you need help , big Asian guy NURSE in the ER will physically attack you , deny you help , and tell security to get you out when you pay insurance for that specific hospital . It's a group of thugs with what seems like fake degrees in nursing working here THE ASAIN TATTOO GUY NURSE IN THE ER IS A LEGITMARE CRIMINAL PAID BY DIGNITY HEALTH TO VIOLATE YOUR MEDICAL RIGHTS AND LIE ABOUT YOUR RIGHTS and will lie on paperwork and treat you in whatever way he deems fit and the rest of the faculty will turn a blind eye and allow he to do as he pleases . Everyone there is just as guilty for enabling this man to continue to ruin patients lives . The people most in needs are the ones this dignity health employee takes advantage of . Be careful be wary and most of all be safe with your life when coming to this hospital you may come out more damaged than helped . Honest to good

I initially wrote a positive review of my experience from the direct link they texted me asking for a review. The front desk persons was kind, as well as, the female doctor I saw, whom I just spoke with in my visit. My visit was quick and easy and I was out. However, the bills are rolling in and it feels impossible to get any help / changes in correcting their charges. I'm charged for a doctor I never saw. I'm charged twice for the same thing on 2 separate bills - so double charged. I've received 2 separate bills with the same few starting codes which means they've billed me twice for the same thing. When I called their billing department to address it, they said we can only send a breakdown of my bill. The phone call to get through and talk with someone about this took a long time and they vetted me for confirmation it was me. Clearly I was discussing my information from my bill with them. 2 weeks later I received something, what I thought was a breakdown from them, but it was only consent to get a breakdown which I would have to mail back. After that is what i did on the phone 2 weeks prior. Runaround process and no help at all. For the billing frustrations and inaccuracy I would not recommend going here. Go somewhere else if you have the choice.

Emergency room staff give poor service and are very rude. One of their staff(technician)almost almost picked out a physical fight with just because I asked them a question. They hire independent contractors to do the work for them and they provide poor, not courteous service!
