I'm a businessman in Glendale. I've had many accounts in many banks locally. Recently, I opened an account in Citibank. My account was blocked for some reason and I walked into the branch to find out what the reason might be. A short gentleman with glasses presented himself as the manager and asked me what I need. As I started telling him my situation, for no reason he got defensive and told me to lower my voice. I said ok- even though I was not speaking in a loud voice. I was with my wife, so he asked me if the account is under my name or my wife's. I said under my wife's and he told me to not speak to him because he can only speak to his client and I am not his client. I said ok go ahead speak to my wife. He began to speak in Armenian and broken English. He could not speak Armenian nor English in mt opinion for a person in his position which he claimed to be the manager it was very unprofessional. As I started to ask him questions, he threatened to kick me out of HIS bank. Really? Is he the owner of the bank ? That's uncalled for, very arrogant. Even though his demeanor, his professionalism, his attitude, does not reflect of a person of authority or owner of a financial institution. Regardless, make long story short - this guy is a joke. He should be cleaning the bank after hours and not managing it.

I am never going back to this branch again. You have to repeat your request 4 different ways and still the tellers don't do as you ask. They cannot follow the simplest instructions. In the past, I have used post-it notes with instructions for basic transactions. I will use the branch near Occidental College on Eagle Rock Blvd. from now on. The tellers are much sharper there and very pleasant.

Shady practices.. Didn't get his name but went to exchange foreign currency back to USD and the teller tried to put some of my money to the side to pocket. When I asked him what happened to the rest of the money he said "oh" and acted like it was a mistake, but it was only 2 bills, not nearly enough to get confused over.

I'd give ZERO stars if possible! This location and all Citibank banking centers are a complete joke! Within an entire city, not one Citibank banking center cashes checks for non-customers. They direct you to a Citibank about 10 miles away without the guarantee that banking center they're directing you to will even cash the check. Just a complete joke! Exactly why I closed all my accounts with them a few years ago.

Do not come this bank I was here yesterday I try to take some money out and the guy who was supposed to help he did not do anything he treated me like if I was some kind of thief,he just didn't let me talk he act extremely RUDE then another guy came and Talk to me and he did the same thing as the other one They block my account I don't trust them and they discriminated me I hate this place

This is a great little bank.what I appreciate most is how the manager really goes out of his way to help you with any challenges you may have. Ara has been a tremendous help with all my transactions. Nicest guy you’ll meet

I had a great experience in this branch. Ara H. is amazing We had some lone complications with citibank online that was dragging for two weeks but Ara the manager helped me sort that through in 20min. Highly recommend this location.

Worst experience ever!!! I opened business account on July, I never received my card, they tried to ship it 4 times!!! I waisted my time waiting this card, I waisted my time to go to the bank to reorder card as I stated before 4 times! And when I tried to close my account they are telling me that I have to pay $7 for some charges, for the card that I NEVER RECEIVED! Okay so i paid this amount, and after they are telling me that it takes 24 hours to process that, and I can close my account only next business day, so I came again and they are telling me again that I have some fees and I need to pay for that, at the end they just reversed this fee and closed account. Worst experience ever!!!! I regret that I waisted my time with Citi Bank! I have waisted two months of my time!
