I met Susan by appointment & was impressed with her inventory. She is knowledgeable & patient. I did a lot of research after my first visit and on my second appointment, made my purchase. She also helps a lot of customers who have gone through cancer treatment. Easy street parking.

I would give 10 stars if I could! Susan is so accommodating and kind - she helped me find the perfect wig for Halloween! No wonder she has had that store for 30 years; you couldn't ask for a better shopping experience!

I LOVE this store! I have been a customer for years now and nothing beats the selection and prices! The quality of the wigs are amazing and Susan is very helpful and explains how to maintain the wigs so you have premium long lasting care. i will continue to be a long term loyal customer and be grateful for the reasonable prices and great selections.

It was my first time going for wig shopping, and this was the best experience I've ever had. Susan, the owner, was absolutely a sweetheart. She kindly helped my mom to choose. She answered all of our questions nicely and took time to go over everything as far as the product, maintenance, and anything you name. As far as pricing, I would say that she has the best quality with the most reasonable prices. Highly recommend California Wig and Beauty! Thank you again Susan!

**EDITED TO ADDRESS YOUR BOGUS RESPONSE: my parents sitting here are laughing at your response because they cannot believe how you're LYING to try to spin this story into my mom being a "happy customer." They were happy the first time walking away, yes. But after returning for help with getting her wig on my mom left humiliated because you made her feel judged for not knowing how to put her wig on. She STILL cannot put it on properly and will likely never wear her wig because she feels so defeated. Your rude response to them RETURNING was what prompted my phone call, not their first experience. I was neither "belligerent" nor rude as you claimed- far from it. I did not yell once, and I only raise my voice when you began to gaslight my mother for her experience there when she returned. I called to simply bring this complaint to your attention in hopes that you would be more mindful of how you respond to customers. You weren't able to accept that very calm feedback. From the looks of it, you seemingly cannot take any feedback from anyone, which is evidenced by how you defend your rude demeanor to other negative reviews about your customer service. Again- HUMBLE YOURSELF and take responsibility for how your attitude makes others feel.The employees here are so incredibly rude. My mother who has cancer purchased a wig from here and when she got home she had difficulty putting it on due to arthritis and this being her first go around with wigs. She went back to ask for help again and was given attitude, being told that putting the wig on is so easy and they don't know how she could not put it on. She was humiliated. As if losing her hair from chemotherapy was not humiliating enough for her. When I called to complain the woman I spoke to tried to make excuses and said that they have the best customer service and would never say that to a customer. She never addressed my complaint or acknowledged it even. I asked if she was calling both of my parents liars and again, she said they have great customer service and would never say that. After her getting defensive I told her I was not going to argue and told her I just wanted her and their employees to be more mindful of their attitudes and how they treat their customers, especially cancer patients, and hung up. SHE CALLED ME BACK! Why?! What respectful business calls someone back when they've been told they are done hearing excuses and hangs up?! That's total boundary crossing and completely inappropriate. Clearly I did not wish to continue on with this conversation and being told they were not in any wrong. I told her not to call me and I had said everything I needed to say, and she tried again to defend herself and their "best customer service." Her calling me back is proof that they actually lack customer service. Humble yourself, show integrity, apologize for being rude to your customer, take the feedback and do better with customers. RUN FROM THIS ESTABLISHMENT and go somewhere with better customer service.

My boyfriend and business partner needed a wig for our upcoming independent short film. We found exactly what we needed in the matter of ten minutes with the help of the Lovely Susan. Thank you for being so great! We will definitely come back again for future projects.

I was a regular customer, have purchased more than 5 wigs and referred her to my relatives from overseas they bought several wigs. On 09/23/22 I with my best friendsVisited the store and ended buying two wigs average $250 +. From day one I’ve noticed she has attitude problem, disregarded her. One of the wigs we bought was defective hence today I took it back, she adamantly insisted that that wig was not the one I’ve bought 9/23. She is a big time liar in capital letter, accusing me that I was lying, claiming the wig she sold me was old 3-4 years old, used. Please stay away from that store.

Have been looking into getting wigs for a while now, and I've found it to be a very hard process from online, to finding a store to try wigs on and see what's the right fit. Taking into consideration the price and quality, it's something I was intimidated by. So I decided to start by checking out my local wig shop in Glendale I found on yelp. I really wasn't expecting to leave so satisfied with my purchase, Susan was nice, funny and patient in letting me try on some wigs and finding something in my price range. I was starting to feel a bit discouraged after trying on some wigs that didn't look right on me, but I had noticed she had a good small selection of colorful, more trendy wigs that i was drawn to. As I was about to give up, I tried on this super pretty pink wig, and it just worked for me! When you've got on the right wig you just know!! Susan was generous to offer me a deal on this wig so of course I had to go for it! I was even able to buy a brush, wig cap, and head for my wig!! I really don't think I could have gotten a better deal and I was lucky!! Susan even cut a bit off the length and complimented me on how beautiful I look. Please go support your local business and she's been doing this for years and will surely help you find what you're looking for. Thank you so much for a great first time experience! Check them out!:)

Called to ask about the wigs, the whole time she just kept answering with questions and I didn’t get a direct answer. She told me to come in the store to see for myself and I was about to ask about the location of the store and she hung up straight away not even letting me ask the question!! Very rude and overpriced. Ended up buying a short wig (not even good quality) for $250!!! The wig was a very short one (up to the ears) and $250 for that? Not good quality, overpriced for what their selling, unbelievably rude, and lied about everything!! When I was buying the wig she asked me credit or cash and she told me that credit applies taxes not cash. I paid with my credit card and she applied the taxes but in the end I noticed on the receipt it said “cash” and the price of the wig, but I paid with a credit?! She added the tax but the receipt says cash!? She did that so she DOESN’T have to pay the taxes?! Why else would someone pay with credit but in the official receipt it said paid with cash? Rude and lied about everything! The store doesn’t even deserve 1 star. Waste of money and time.

I have been a returning customer for 14 years! The quality of wigs are amazing. Very reasonably priced. The owner is SO helpful and knowledgeable. Great place for wigs and accessories! Definitely recommend. I’ve noticed a lot of untrue reviews here and it’s such a shame how people lie about great small businesses owners.
