This place is great. Employees are always nice and they have a great selection of skate goods and shoes. It is a mall store but they are dedicated to skateboarding and they are run like a core shop. My kids and I like this place and we always stop in when we're at the mall to get supplies at Target or whatever. Skate, don't hate and wear your Dunks :)

The associate who helped me build my board was knowledgeable. She helped me pick out the best fit for my 11 y/o nephew. This is his first board and the matter in which we were helped made the experience memorable. I feel confident that we bought the best possible option for my nephew.

The most helpful and best looking staff Iv even encountered in retail. Would highly recommend this place for beginner skaters or people who like having a nice wardrobe.

get new girl staff who don't flirt with anyone and dress appropriately so unprofessional all they do is stand in a circle and talk get new better helpful employees also the girls are always just on their phone whenever I go they ignore people and just continue talking to each other having phones out while the store has costumers who need help is really unprofessional those girls should not be working there they're no help and all they do is chat and use their phones do better i wish i could give this 0 stars

Came into the store yesterday trying to use the $10 gift cards they handed out on Black Friday sales I was told I was not able to use them since they were expired already. I told the associates working the register that I tried using the gift card before the expiration date , but the associate working during that time told me that I was not able to use them that I had to wait until the date that was stamped on the gift card (which was the expiration date). I asked if I could get CS number to call they did not have one. They called their manager who did not care much about customer retention since he did not come up with a reasonable response. Got 15% off but $20 dollars worth of gift card were just confiscated.

This hurts giving a 1 star to Boarders... I really enjoy shopping at boarders they have some cool things and I've shopped at many locations. But this location I don't know if it was an off day but customer service was terrible! I went in to get a gift for one of my friends and I saw a bag I was interested in, but it was too high. So I was looking around for help and I saw a guy and a girl hanging at the register area and one hanging outside of the register area on her phone. I know they noticed me cause the girls turned around and looked at me and kept talking and laughing. So I just left that area (which is right next to the register) and proceeded to look around the store. I was looking at shirts and then Still the girls just keep looking Not helping and playing on the phone. I had to give Myself customer service! Lucky for me I know boarders well enough to shop on my own. But if someone that doesn't know anything about boarders try shopping there they will leave without purchasing anything cause Customer Service is lacking! 1) Having your phone out on the floor while customers are around Very unprofessional (do that on your break or in the back) -- 0 2) Ignoring customer -- 0 I am sorry for this location cause with the other locations I've always had Great Customer Service. Maybe these girls need to be retrained or fired cause it's so obvious that they don't care about their jobs. I'm sure not everyone is like that at this location, but the 2 girls ....

I've been coming to this skate shop for many years and Always had great experience at this skate shop. Laura was very knowledgeable and recommended great parts for my new skateboard. 5/5 would recommend if your around the area!

Went in looked around for 20 mins for help no one came up and ask one looked at he was at cash register then just acted like he was busy .. this store was great back then now they think their too good to help

One of the best skateshops in all of LA! They conduct fair raffles, which is so important to me as a sneakerhead. I won the Bearbrick dunks through them. I can't wait for the mall to reopen so I can come shop again or just browse the huge store. Some skateshops are tiny and full of attitude like certain ones on Melrose and Hollywood blvd. But not Boarders. Always nice to me here. Until they open again, I'll support the shop online.
