I have been going to Dr Tang since the mid '90's, when I had a pet cockatiel with my two sons, and more recently since 2007, when my husband and I got our first dog. He saved our dog, Spencer about 15 years ago. He'd had a seizure out of the blue, when he'd accidentally eaten rat poison outside without our knowing it. Dr Tang not only saved Spencer, but that dog went on to live another 10 years almost! Most recently our dog Popper has some autoimmune disease, and Dr Tang has seen us almost 10 times over the past 2 months, trying his best to figure out how to treat this 7-year-old (young!) dog. We have all the confidence in Dr Tang's ability, expertise, and most importantly in his compassion. As others have mentioned, Dr Tang doesn't have great bedside manner with the humans who visit his practice, but he so obviously cares about our pets (his patients, as he said this morning), that I will keep going to him forever. And he is so reasonable, I sometimes wonder how he stays in business! God Bless Dr Tang!

Love this no frills pet clinic. I have been bringing my toy poodle here since she was just a couple months old and have had nothing but great experiences.

The most straightforward vet I have ever dealt with. He's not only knowledgeable, but his pricing is the most reasonable around. I drive 6 cities away to go, just for this vet. Highly recommended.

if i could give this place a 0 stars i would. this place is a joke. unprofessional!! save your money and go somewhere else. the doctor couldn’t communicate properly on what was wrong with my pet. the doctor was rude in a way and i felt so unwelcomed. paid hundreds for a visit to get no actual information with what is wrong with my dog. I don’t even understand how this place has good reviews. The doctor was so unwelcoming and unprofessional i have never seen a place like this before in my life. Please save your time, energy, and money.

Great Doctor. 10 of 10 for him. But the worst office staff. This people need to go through customer care training. They were so mean and inconsiderate. Once I was 10 min late for my appointment they charge me 20 dollars late fee. The Dr was so nice and he waved the fee. Who charges 20 $ for being late?! Today my dog had an appointment with them and o have a family emergency and I had to go to the hospital. As a courtesy, I called to cancel and told them the reason behind it why. They go like 48 $ for cancellation. It's like I went to a party and I didn't want to go. And I have been taking my pet there since she was 8 weeks old now my pet is 14 years old. I wish someone can pass on this message to the doctor so he can change his staff. The ones that help the Dr are so nice but front desk people are the meanest. One of them literally when you speak to her already sounds so not caring with her monotone voice,. Save your money and find somewhere that they give good customer service and have a great Dr.

I recently had an incredibly disappointing and infuriating experience with Dr. Tang, a so-called veterinarian who failed miserably in caring for my beloved dog. Despite numerous visits and concerns raised, Dr. Tang completely missed the obvious signs of my dog's twisted paws. This gross negligence has resulted in my young dog losing the ability to walk, causing immense pain and suffering. Adding insult to injury, Dr. Tang was consistently condescending and rude throughout our interactions. His dismissive attitude and lack of empathy made an already stressful situation even worse. He showed a shocking disregard for my dog's well-being and demonstrated an unacceptable level of incompetence. I strongly urge everyone to avoid Dr. Tang at all costs. His carelessness, inability to properly diagnose and treat my dog, and his disrespectful demeanor have led to irreversible damage. He does not deserve the title of a veterinarian, and trusting him with your pets could lead to tragic outcomes. DO NOT GO TO HIM UNLESS YOU DO NOT CARE ABOUT YOUR PET!!!!!!

I love this office, especially the staff. I was recommended to him by my pilates instructor on the West side. People drive from all over to come and see him. As many people say, don't expect the doctor to smile or engage in small talk. He is a serious guy, but he is honest, and a great doctor. Great office and great staff!

I've been taking my Irish setter last 8 years to this office. The doctor is very knowledgeable and only performs necessary procedures and prescribes meds only as a last resort. They always try to give a same day appointment in case of emergencies even though they're very busy.

He is our family vet and is taking care with his staff extremely good of our pets. From tumor removal to kidney stones, Heart disease to teeth removal, we are happy to be dealing with Dr Tang and are very happy to have him taking care of our animals.

Dr. Tang is the best and only doctor I will take my dog Archie to. His only priority is to take care of your pet! His pricing is more than fair and is not out to rob you like every other place! This is a no nonsense vet who will never oversell you or force any unnecessary price increasing procedures. He will tell you what is and what is not needed. A hard find in LA . No over the top emotional responses. No fancy clinic but a perfectly fine vet office, clean and efficient. My otherwise nervous cat becomes completely peaceful and calm in Dr. Tang's hands. He is so gentle with the animals and I believe he may be more of an animal than a people person :) Works for me. No price gouging here. Both Linda and Cecilia are absolute gems in the front office, kind, helpful and loving. Highly recommended pet care, unless you prefer drama and anxiety. Then Dr. Tang is not your vet.
