“WOW!! This place really lives up to all the 5 star reviews. My car was done so quickly and it was cleaned and washed up so nicely when they were finished! The new bumper repair is nearly unnoticeable, you can only tell it's not the original when you see the metallic flake in bright sunlight goes a bit of a different shade than the body. That's to be expected though, from any body shop. The guy in the office is also very nice, friendly and personable. I will definitely return when/if I need more body work.”
“I feel like going to the auto body shop is the last thing anybody really WANTS to do... so imagine my surprise when G&C made this the easiest experience possible! I was rear-ended on the way home from work a couple of weeks ago. The other driver was young and had another accident on his record, so his family asked to pay for the repairs rather than going through insurance. I was nervous, but I had the other driver's info, and decided to stop by G&C for a quote on the repair cost...From start to finish, Ryan and Ashley both made sure I was completely taken care of! They wrote a detailed quote that was incredibly reasonable, and they also helped me coordinate payment with the other party. The entire process was incredibly smooth and took less than two weeks from the time I first walked in the door. The repairs themselves took less than two days, even with some additional service that was not included on my quote, with zero additional charge! They even washed my car for me, and believe me, I had been putting it off for months... Seriously, these folks are the real deal! I could not ask for a better experience. This is the first time I've ever had to deal with repairs after an accident, and the staff at G&C made sure I was comfortable and informed the whole time. I cannot recommend them enough! P.S. I would include pictures of my new bumper, but I don't really want my license plate on Yelp. You'll just have to take my word for it - my car has never looked better from the back!”

But today it was a special treat: We needed a new car battery for our Toyota truck, of which they had not only had several in stock but they did a professional replacement job without extra charge and within minutes! He knew exactly what was needed, squeezed me in and personally viewed and checked all the boxes for a safe day at the track. Richard had exceptional of my CLK55 AMG; he offered tips on driving and upgrades as well. My go to shop now. Oh yeah, reasonable hourly rates for this World Class Operation too.”

“For those who are mechanically-inclined, have you ever done your own brakes and in doing so changed out the hoses, hardware, clean, and resurface rotors if needed? Then after a job well done (takes us normals a day job on this), you start up your engine and press down on the brake pedal for the first time and it feels like a plush cloud? That is called TLC and that is what it's like when Gary takes your truck in and hands it back to you.There's a reason why people with Cruisers and beyond call Gary and co. from out-of-state for setups, lifts, and repairs. These guys are the real deal and I could tell this from the first conversation I had with Gary. There is no frills and only a complete dedication to doing your vehicle right by you. Few places (outside industries included) practice honor, integrity, and doing good for its own sake but Gary and the guys absolutely do.My experience was with my FJ that needed a lift adjustment after another shop made a few mishaps but given how much demand Gary has, you can see just how many 'Yota chassis and powertrain they know inside and out. “I want to share my experience with Hansel. To start my Service Rep was Anthony Soriano. Anthony's professionalism and customer service was amazing. I went in for a regular oil change and he did not pressure me, like other dealership service centers, to purchase other unnecessary services. I appreciate this way of doing business...customer focussed. An issue arose after my scheduled service that could not be anticipated and Anthony diagnosed the problem in about 10 seconds. He sent my car back to be handled by a technician and once handled sent me off with a thank you and a hand shake...the way it's supposed to be done. “Wow, Hansel Toyota just took every preconceived notion that I had about car dealerships and threw them out the window! You know, the pushy sales people; the dealership trying to ring you dry or up-sell at every corner...and so on... I experienced NONE of that. I live in SF, drove up to Petaluma to purchase a new RAV4, and I would do so again in a heartbeat. Protip: just do your homework, have a general idea of what you're looking for, so that you can walk in a dealership confident and avoid being nervous or on the defensive. Treat the employees at the dealership as you would want to be treated, after all, they're human beings just trying to do their jobs, like you! Be kind and that will go A LONG WAY.
