Great pharmacy! Typically have decent wait times for picking up prescriptions. Today, Alexandra, went above and beyond to help me! She chatted with me via phone several times to problem solve a prescription I needed since I am sick and need it soon. I am so thankful since I could have had to drive 1+ hours to get my medication. I was extremely helpful and I am very appreciative of the coordination and hard work of her and all the staff at Walgreens in Gilroy! Thanks so much!

Horrible pharmacy. The people who work here do not care about the customers, the slowest service which is deliberate. They never answer the phones, drive through takes min 30 min even with one car in line. CVS is 100x better.

I'm not sure what's happened to the pharmacy . Was once great and now awful! In order to get my prescription filled I have to call which takes close to an hour . If you don't call about your prescription it will sit under in progress for days! And lines are always long in store and drive through especially. Takes days to get anything filled it's absolutely ridiculous.

I called Walgreens Pharmacy and I understand there busy but I was on hold for over 20 minutes. The girl who kept answering kept putting me on hold. They are very rude there. If it wasn't for my insurance I'd go somewhere else.

Zero stars. Apathetic and almost purposefully unhelpful employees. Tried to order a script several times. Was very clear that I would pay cash because I was sorting things with insurance but I need the meds in the meantime. They cancel/ delay the order every time because 'insurance won't pay'. Then after 3 days I'm told they don't have the medication in and never ordered it because 'insurance won't pay'. Like, why won't you take my money?! Now I'm suffering, getting worse, without medicine I desperately need for another day while I wait for a different pharmacy to order it in.

My first review on Yelp. Terrible pharmacy. Understaffed, long waits. Cars back up in drive through. Don't try to call either to talk to a pharmacist. The message will say how many calls ahead of you, and when you think it's your turn it rings then hangs up on you. I'm sure other callers before me just got tired of waiting. Based on the poor reviews on Yelp, I figure Walgreens just doesn't care.

You can call to get your medication's refilled. They will tell you it'll be done tomorrow by 11 AM. The automated service will call your phone and tell you that the prescription has been filled and is ready. You can drive half an hour to get there and then wait in their drive-through for half an hour just to find out that it has NOT in fact been filled.EVERY TIME?!!. I think it's a game they play. I think I've heard people crouching behind the counter giggling at me.

I've been a Walgreens customer for about 15 years. They used to do a great job but I've notice a decline in customer service lately. Long lines and rude behavior from some employees in the pharmacy. They can't seem to figure out the scheduling of prescriptions. Several times I've gotten a text message stating my prescription is ready but when I go there it isn't. I have to come back in an hour. Sad...they used to be great.

I'm so disappointed in Walgreens. I try and use the app to reorder my medication and it never works. Then I have to call to order it and it thinks I already ordered it. I've given written feedback on the issue 4 times but never hear a thing and it never gets better. I hate going in to pick up my meds as the line is so long. They will mail it but since the app doesn't work that seems to never happen.

Horrible customer service in the pharmacy. The pharmacist, Julie, is very rude and lazy. They used to have good staff, but not anymore. Don't bother going there. Go to CVS instead where they provide good customer service!

I usually have a fine shopping experience at Walgreens, but today was unacceptable. I ordered prints of my daughter's birthday invitations and picked them up. This was the second time I ordered printed invitations. The first time I called the store and asked if they had envelopes. The guy working said that they had 5 × 7. I said my prints were 4x6 but he said that's fine we'll give them to you. This time when I went the manager Maria said they only give envelopes for 5x7 prints. I explained what happened last time and that I was willing to buy them. She claimed they had no way of selling them to me. They don't sell envelopes that size at Walgreens and I didn't have time to go to another store because I had an appointment to get to. I told my situation and said if I knew this policy I would have been prepared or I would have ordered from somewhere else. Maria refused to give me the envelopes even though it was her employee's mistake that gave me false information and left me screwed without envelopes. She acknowledged the mistake but refused to make it right. That is customer service 101. I kept telling her that wasn't fair and their mistake was causing me problems. She refused to see my point of view. Only when I told her that I was going to complain to Walgreens did her other employee finally say just give her the envelopes. They were trying to make me feel bad over 20 envelopes. I don't mind paying! I literally had no time to go to another store. Customers should not be made to feel bad about employee's mistakes. Managers should be trained how to de-escalate a situation. It did not have to turn into an argument.

Pharmacists were not helpful as I was required to provide two negative covid tests to a private institution I'm visiting this week. They denied me the second test without much explanation, stating that they "just won't do it because insurance requires me to pay" which I said that was fine, I was prepared to pay for the second test. They made me wait 30+ minutes in the parking lot just to end up calling me to fill out a testing requirements form over the phone. After completing it, the pharmacist was extremely condescending in explaining to me reasons why she wouldn't not perform it. And added a "I hope you find somewhere else that is willing". Like, if you weren't going to do it, don't waste my time telling me to wait pending your "resources" approval. Made zero sense as other people attending the same institution faced zero problems in this process.
