Just recently started shopping Marshall's. Have found a few really cute tops and summer pants. What I really like is that the store is kept organized and clean.

The items available here in this store can be a little different from other Marshalls. Not a bad place to shop if you have extra time to spare.

My husband and I just came in (3/17/24 around 3:15pm) to get a sensor tag removed from a men's shirt that Los banos store missed. The cashier said this isn't the receipt for item. It seemed the $24.99 tag went scanned for swimwear, clearly it's a men's shirt. She didn't rescan to see error only looking at first 4 numbers. She calls manager. Then says she'll remove if we aren't planning to return. After she removes it, she calls manager and I hear her say on phone they had attitudes. That's when I turn back around before walking out and let her know I heard what you said, call your manager. Manager comes out and I told her it's not ok what she said to you on phone and clearly it's not ok you as higher up should be entertaining her behavior. She said you didn't hear what I said, mind you cashier hung up when I heard her so she didn't have time to respond. Manager is smiling, and I said you think this is funny as you're smiling, her response is what should I frown.
It's very unprofessional their approach, their verbal responses, and customer service lacks greatly.
1st approach should’ve been “Let me see what I can do”, let me scan item, let’s get this taken care of for you”
Training is needed greatly.

I was returning a Xmas gift. A purse that waa defective. It had no where to clip the strap to. They refused because I had no receipt.

I only go here because it's the only one close but the employees are SO RUDE!!!!!! Extremely rude!! They never have any bags for the customers . But offer you ones you have to buy for $1. They should be free if you don't have any bags for customers to take their things home , right? Oh and did I mention RUDE RUDE EMPLOYEES!!!!!! They push past you to get by. One banged my basket very hard and didn't say anything. I wasn't in the isle, she was stocking. They need to fire everyone and start new .
