Went in today to shop and was told that I could not carry my purse because it was too big . That is ridiculous it has my wallet and my medication and my car keys and my phone everything that a normal person would have . The lead was non apologetic and not helpful other than to tell me to leave my purse in the car . That is not a safe viable option . Also a sales associate looked at me and said that's not a purse it is my purse I even opened it up for them to see . Totally unacceptable I will not be donating and will tell all my friends not to donate to Goodwill . It's actually very sad because I have gone in before with a bigger purse and no one said anything also I'm there quite often at least two or three times a week

There are lots of name brand clothes here that have never been worn. It’s like a super sale. Not always available, but if you stop by frequently you will find them.

I thrift a lot & seen a lot but selling MOLDED clothing let alone children's clothing is disgusting and so dangerous!! I came in around an hr before closing. I try in to inspect all items before purchasing but I was rushing as they were closing soon by the time I was done shopping. I was doing a quick look over of my items and noticed some spots on a new with tag item. I thought it was pen markings on the tag. They shoved everything into a bag at checkout. I left the bag for awhile in a closet as I forgot about my purchase. Once I emptied everything & removing tags to wash, I noticed the spots on the tag were actually MOLD and all over the clothing item. It was a Nightmare before Christmas sally print shirt so it was dark and not easily spotted at first. Not only that but what appeared to be a huge burned spot within the ruffles. I continued to inspect the items in my bag and the cashier had wrapped another new with tag Minnie Mouse dress around said moldy shirt. The mold spread to the dress. This is such a health hazard & I'm reporting it to the county!!!! DO BETTER GOODWILL!! Also, this store has gotten lazy with tagging. Rather than putting price tags through the size tag or seam, they've been flattening a sleeve & putting the tagging gun through it causing TWO holes in the sleeve. Sometimes I get excited at my finds that I don't realize where the tag is until I get home to remove it.

You got workers that need work on thier lcustomer service and retail they are rude and also invest in good hangers so that these clothes don't fall that's what this worker yelled at me but I was picking up the clothes that were on the ground I was being nice enough to pick them up thos worker. They have to be nice enough

Upon entering the Goodwill store in Gilroy, I couldn't help but experience severe eye burning pain. It was quite discomforting and unexpected, especially considering my anticipation to browse through the store's offerings. Interestingly, my mom and a few other people accompanying me also had a similar reaction, with some even mentioning irritation of the skin around their eyes.

Some of the people working there have bad attitudes. One guy taking donations wasn't friendly, didn't answer questions or say thanks. If your going to have a constipated personality you should work somewhere else.

I love going here, even though items are over price. But, the cashier today, really upset me. Got some wine glasses and this cashier David G. Was saying in loud voice he was tired he had a long day, and he grabbed my glasses, and bagged 2 at a time and put them down a little too ruff on the floor and broke one. Then he says F@#k. I had to wrap the remaining glasses myself. As we left the kid at the door says accidents happen I told him this wasn't an accident cashier was upset.

My most recent visit to the Goodwill of Silicon Valley secondhand store was average. While the store provided a wide range of things, the organization and display of the merchandise could have been improved. Numerous portions of the store appeared chaotic and untidy, making navigation difficult. The employees, on the other hand, were nice and helpful, making the overall experience enjoyable. Costs were also cheap, giving it a cost-effective option for thrifting. Notwithstanding several shortcomings, I would consider returning to the Goodwill of Silicon Valley secondhand store in the future.

Problem is now I don't want to pay full price for anything. Most of my stuff is from the back of the good will. The art work and home decor in side the store attend me.I have to slow my roll because I want to buy a lot of stuff.I try to only go twice a monthProblem is thatI like to go in the store with $20 cash right before they close the store. It's a big adrenaline rush for me.

Some items are unreasonably overpriced. For example used dirty doll for 7 dollars when brand new doll at Walmart can be 10 dollars. Some prices not worth buying used item. But, can get some good deals and unique finds here and there.

Always has more than what you can buy. I always walk out with a cart full. So much to choose for. Color coordinated as well.
