I don't recommend buying outdoor plants here. I bought four and they were all extremely root-bound. 2 died before I could plant them and the other 2 are not doing great. Highly recommend going to Johnson's Garden Center (super healthy affordable plants, huge selection!) or even Lowe's since their plants have been constantly in better condition than here.

I wanted to buy mulch and decided on one 5 bags for $10. Everything went well until the check out machine went down and the employee had to call for assistance to reboot it. I waited but he said it would be awhile, I still waited another 6 min then finally took his suggestion to go inside to customer service. I go and waited again because it looked like the checkouts were full... no, it was all three checkout employees were talking to each other. When I realized they all had orange aprons on I approached one who finally asked if I needed help. I told her what I needed then she called another person to go outside to get a bar code and while they did this she had the nerve to ask me to move aside so she could help someone else who was waiting!!! By now I'm wanting to know what all the other workers were doing ... as it turned out not much. Customer service is crap and Lowe's is looking better and better!

The installation service is contracted out and Home Depot do not take responsibility for bad installation. Cost me thousands to replace the countertops installed by Home Depot!

Mary Christie was very patient with my friends. She is professional, knowledgeable. They were only planning to look and compare. They did not think about buying anything. But Mary showed so much genuine care for us (and other customers we saw her help) that they trusted her and purchased. Very patient with people / customers that don't speak English. Please share all this comment with Mary. She also has great leadership with other co-workers - we saw that.

I ordered lumbers for a project that needed to be done at my house. On the scheduled delivery day driver arrives and was missing parts of my order. He made a call and indicated that I will be receiving a separate delivery later on that afternoon. After waiting all afternoon I decided to call customer service and upon making the call I found out that part of my order got cancelled because they did not have lumber at the store I ordered it from. I personally visited the Gilroy store to make the order. salesperson at the time of order has already told me that that part of the order will be coming from Santa Cruz store because it was not available at the Gilroy store. I had to go back to the store and had to reorder the missing lumber again and was scheduled for delivery 2 days later. I get a message stating that they have to reschedule the delivery on these 16 feet long lumber because it needed to be delivered on a different truck due to the length of the lumber. They should have known this at the time when they scheduled delivery!!! now I have to wait another 3 days for delivery!!!Extremely disappointed!!!

I've been trying to get this branch to answer the phone and decided to just let it ring until someone picked up. After about 30 rings I gave up. I've done this several times, it's 11 on a Friday

Currently in the middle of a kitchen remodel and I've visited Home Depot more in the past month than I have in my entire life. This big box store has every item you could possibly imagine when it comes to home improvement. I've bought both in store and curbside pick up. I will mention that curbside pick up sometimes is a little on the slow side. Staff are usually friendly and helpful. There are plenty of self-checkout lanes and plenty of parking.

When I went in we were looking for stuff and we found it and we found a carpet that was really pretty we got and their was this person who offered to lower the price since it was kinda ripped and they lowered and the workers are so nice!

Over the weekend we went to look at washer and dryers. Our ancient beast of a washer finally went out on us so we needed replacements. I wasn't sure I was going to buy that day or from home depot, but with Victoria Wheeler's help we went all in. She was very attentive, even though busy still acknowledged us and told us she would be right with us, made us feel like friends, entertained my 4 year old and went over and beyond to help me save a little money (huge plus). The extra mile for customer service was felt and appreciated. My only issue had nothing to do with Victoria, I was just super bummed the actual color and model of dryer I wanted was out of stock with no option to back order. Either way, we're excited for our new machines & loved working with Victoria.The 2nd part I'd like to call out, the credit card customer service. I forgot to check my email and when I did, there was a 12 month no finance offer which I missed! I was so bummed, I called thinking i was too late since the purchase was made 2 days prior. They were amazing, it was so easy and trust me after dealing with some horrible customer service issues with other companies this was a breath of fresh air. All that's left is the delivery, it was rescheduled one day (not a big deal). I'm hoping it all arrives and gets installed without any issues. And let's hope we made a good choice with the brand and model. Crossing my fingers.

Purchased dishwasher, paid to have it installed by HD. Discovered after 1 year - installed incorrectly! Black mold in walls, under wood floor, & after 5 yrs still getting runaround & no reimbursement!

Wouldn't price match their own web site the manager said they couldn't do bc homedepot.com is different i dont get it bc you will price match almost any online store

I know I know the reviews seem bit scary,but when I went in today Alexis Mendoza at the mill work dept was very helpfull in my choosing of a new front door not only did she have much patience with me but she also helped me get back on my online account very helpfull if all the stores employees were like her it would sure bring up thier ratings.Im having my order delivered straight from Jeldwen so hope that goes well should get it in about a month so may be adding another review for that but all I can say is ALexis is very good at helping customers:)

I just had the most pleasant experience with Patricia from the garden department. Patricia helped me purchase a new kamado grill with various accessories. Her friendly demeanor made my Easter Sunday shopping experience excellent.
