Came shopping for my Mum in Australia and of course I had to get some things for myself too! I came here a year ago for a few things and Susan remembered my name, my husband's name AND the clothes I bought....off the chart excellent customer service!!! Extremely affordable as well!!

"I am going to get you out of here" . This are exact words I just hesrd in my address when paying at the register for quite a few items and letting her know that I did not appreciate how she was treating me and my family. The manager Amanda seemed to have a problem with me shopping in an empty store with my elderly mother and my toddler. She probably did not like that he was running in a store with literally no other clients, also that we spoke another language because my mom does not speak English. She told me they are closing when it was 6:30. The store closes at 7. She lied and she did not explain why exactly was that. Such people should not be allowed in a customer service.

I went into the shop on Christmas Eve and smiled to the grumps behind the counter. I wished them a very Merry Christmas and thanked them for being there to make my visit for Christmas fun.I bought my aunt a sweater and myself a pair of earrings. Another girl walked up to the register during my transaction and asked crassly if I wanted my receipt. I said it was for Christmas and we all picked out our own items, so I don’t need to return anything. She asked for my credit card so I happily handed it over. Everyone at the counter was very busy and very quiet.They all of a sudden awkwardly handed me my card back and said I was good to go. They never said the total and didn’t even show me. When I got my credit card statement back, the charge was for several hundred dollars more than the $60 sweater and $30 earrings I purchased. Because I had no receipt, the credit card company didn’t return the actual charge.Super fraudulent if you ask me.

This was a one or two star review, but then I went to the Chico's in Vacaville Premium Outlets and decided that this wasn't the worst place ever. I came here at the invitation of my sister who now lives in San Jose and knows that Chico's is my favorite store ever. However, my experience in this outlet was weird. There was a woman who worked there in the store, only one and she totally ignored us. It wasn't like the store was busy. We (she, my sister, and myself) were the only ones in the store. I'm used to the folks at Chico boutique stores being totally at your service and helpful, but this woman wasn't. It was as if my sister and I were the only ones in the store. And my sister who isn't an employee (she's a private school principal) was my in store help. She ran about getting me different sizes of pants and pairing them with shirts. Again, nothing from the woman who worked there. But as we checked out, she mentioned that we were so cute together and had a nice banter and didn't want to interrupt. Why? I don't know. I've never had this experience. Also, she said that her system didn't recognize my Chico's membership card and that I couldn't get my 10% off. OK, but the Chico's outlet in Vacaville didn't have that problem. I had to open a new account for my discount. So now I have two accounts. But the thing is that the Vacaville Outlet found my info for my orignial account when I showed them my card. My second card never showed up. The woman was saying that she had a super long commute and listened to Joel Osteen CDs during her commute. I'm wondering if the reason why she's working there is because they didn't want her at the original store. Her service was lousy, and maybe I'm spoiled but the folks at Emeryville, Walnut Creek, and Lafayette were so much nicer and accommodating than she was. Not going back!

I wanted to to call out Amanda Headley at the Chico's in the Gilroy Premium Outlets. She has to be the most rude and inconsiderate person you will ever find. She was even rude to her own Customer Service representative. And guess what.... she was the Manager. I hope that someone reads this review because as I look at the other reviews... I see a pattern.
