While I like the clothes at CR, the customer service was disappointing. Everyone working here seems so afraid of getting in trouble that they end up being incredibly rude to customers, possibly in an attempt to keep up store policy. Not only this, but they forgot to take off the security tag on an item, and everyone was confused on refunds and exchanges between in store and online purchases. Management needs to do better, and it would be great if it wasn't a daunting task to ask an employee a question while visiting the store.

Carlos (Store Manager) needs to brush up on his customer service skills. There are store policies that have to be respected, which is understandable. They way you carry them out can be firm, yet kind at the same time.

I got great discounts for something I loved and it was a little bit dirty they gave me that one and another for 1 dollar. Service is okay and place has great items for everyone

DO NOT WORK HERE! What this company puts you through is vile. The fact they put female workers ALONE from opening to closing shifts and pay them for part-time is disgusting. The workers look exhausted and are running around trying to do everything is insane. I witnessed a young girl working alone with many customers in the store not only ringing customers up with a line but opening fitting rooms, running to the back because the bell was ringing, and trying to help everyone at once.

I visited this location and a few others located in Santa Clarita, Gilroy, and some in San Diego. Kim Formento the district manager is completely rude. Treats people very poorly. Because of the way he treats employee’s and customers I will not be returning. I will be telling others not to shop at this company. Once being a manager myself I watched how he disregarded his employees and treats them while I shopping for my daughter. I was so appalled and had to ask one of the employees if they were okay. Ive never seen such disrespect from a manager. This company need to think about who they are hiring before they pick upper management. I wanted to email HR about what I witnessed but could not find a contact for HR.

I worked at Charlotte Russe and I haven’t even gotten my paycheck and it’s almost the end of the month also they way they treat the employees is really bad the breaks are supposed to be 15 min at the most and we get 5 to 10 min breaks

I recently called the Gilroy outlet looking for a particular item in 3 different sizes. Adrianna answered my call with the most cheerful voice and attitude I have received in quite sometime. I explained that I was out of town and asked if she could put a hold on the items for me. Adrianna was so pleasantly positive in her response that I was very surprised. Surprised that she was so professional, and wanted to see my purchase through. She even called me back within a few minutes to tell me she had all 3 sizes I needed!! I couldn’t believe she called back!! When I went to the store yesterday I wasn’t surprised that she was there as she said she would be. I continued to be provided with the highest level of customer service!! We had a chat of me giving her praise for the excellent customer service she provided. Her responses was that she loves helping people, loves her job and was very appreciative of the compliment considering she shared that another customer had yelled and screamed at her previously the same day. Unimaginable from my interaction! Charlotte Russe has a gem of an employee!! Kudos!!

Bought a pair of distressed boyfriend jeans from Charlotte Russe by Wax Jean - so comfortable, but they lasted 2 wears and the seam started to pull loose. These jeans didn't stand up to walking around town twice - less than 20,000 steps! When the seam pulled loose, it completely pulled free on its own, about a 6 inch section of seam that wasn't loose before wearing. inexpensive...but now I know why. Cheaply made. Would NOT recommend.

Loved this store. Thought it actually went out of business when the one at Oakridge closed but there's still one here at the outlets. What I find to be absolutely ridiculous is... their fitting rooms are still closed due to covid, which is weird because everywhere else has reopened their fitting rooms. And, in addition to this, their return policy is to exchange or get store credit for the item within 14 days. THEY DO NOT DO A CASH BACK RETURN. This is insane to me when their fitting rooms are closed. I don't know if the item even fits me because I can't try it on in store, then can't return it if it doesn't fit. Fix your policy please. I put back 4 dresses I had picked out because of the combination of no fitting room and no returns. You're losing business with this nonsense.

I came to this store for a short moment before my doctors appointment in July and someone in the store stole my phone. The employees were being extremely weird about it so I'm pretty sure it was one of them. After that experience, I decided I will never shop here again.

So I come to this location somewhat often because of the cheap clothing(I don't like spending more than $10 on a shirt or $15 on pants), so if you're looking for the right price, then you can count on this store. However, if you're looking for good customer service, I would not advise coming here. I've come in on several occasions where the employees simply don't really care about helping the customer(which is okay by me, I don't really need help when shopping), but I decided to post this review today because the behavior I had seen from one of the employees was completely unacceptable. I was just casually shopping today, and I overheard a dispute going on between a customer and one of the associates. Now of course, I didn't hear the conversation completely, and the woman(the customer), could have been completely out of line, but the dispute had ended with both the customer and the associate yelling at each other, both of them very audibly calling each other "**** b*tch". As I said, the customer was in the wrong for calling the associate names, but it was completely unethical for the associate to call the customer a "**** b*tch", yelling it across the room. For god's sake, there could've been children in the store. I've worked in retail myself, and I've dealt with difficult customers, but the best you can do is keep a level head and offer to call the manager/get the store lead for them to deal with the issue.
