Every time help is needed the employees ignore the person. Especially the ones at the deli. Many times I haven't bought because no one wants to help, and they always seem upset.

I can find all the ingredients condements or fresh ingredients I need for many different cultures of food. A excellent variety from main dish to snacks, beverages to cakes and Latin desserts. Everyday fresh fruit and empanadas. And it's got a Hugh parking lot in Gilroy. Easy Peasy!

I give it 1 star although the food is very good the customer service is terrible many people in the hot food area talking inside the display and only 1 serves

Unless there's no other option, I hope to never shop at Cardenas again due to lack of cashiers. The store wants customers to mainly use the self check out, but that's not a good option for me. I'll just take my business somewhere else.
And many other customers are doing the same thing,

I love their Deli for hot authentic Mexican food. It's fabulous and prices are reasonable. I would have given it 5 stars if someone in the Deli spoke English.

Great that they employ Hispanic, but really need to address the English issue. Hard to ask questions when I can't understand spanish.

This store is very deceitful.
They have a scheme where they advertise lower prices and free gifts with a certain purchase but in the end they don't acknowledge their own advertisements.
They do this all the time. Plus, cashiers don't like to call their managers or supervisors, it's almost as if they'll get in trouble for getting them involved.
Self checkout should be a piece of cake but they don't even know how to handle the registers without many people getting involved.
There's always panhandlers outside following customers to their cars begging for money and or groceries.
People selling fruits and toys in the parking lot are not a problem but the panhandlers are scary since they're all men. They drive really nice cars and dress well. It's scary to have them follow my young daughter and I to our car asking for money, some of my groceries and or any work I may have in my home.
