The Pepper Plant Hot Sauce (Original California Style) is a Carmel, CA restaurant table mainstay. It is salty and I love it. I'm actually blown away my, since I have a salt-addiction. I am on HP meds, so it's all good! It packs a delicious salty, smoky punch on eggs, fried chicken and fish, and grilled meats. It's the sort of hot sauce, but thick and zesty. Sold at Whole Foods and Molly Stone stores.

This is the f****** cocaine of hot sauces. To say it is addictive is an understatement. Read the other reviews. Yup, 100% 5-stars. Many folks buy it by the case. There is a message there isn't there? I found it at the Elk Grove Nugget Market. I won't argue that Nugget has very good stuff, but you pay for it at check out. They have an excellent selection of hot sauces and I went in to try something new. The Pepper Plant hot sauces were on sale, 2 for $7.00. Not a bad deal so I bought a couple. The Original California style is just a little chunky and one of the milder sauces in my collection of hot sauces. The Chipotle-style is more than a traditional hot sauce in flavor. They both are some of my favorite hot sauces. They aren't, burn your mouth spicy, but they kill it on flavor. I must try the other varieties and not just keep buying the same two. I intend to try the Chipotle on Cheeseburgers, as a steak or BBQ sauce too.

The best hot sauce I've ever had. Not so hot that it drowns out everything. Just a perfect balance of hot and great flavor. I put this on almost everything I eat. It's a little hard to find in retail stores. A lot of restaurants use it so maybe you can buy a bottle from them. That was the first place I tried it at (a restaurant) and the owner gave me a bottle. I've been hooked ever sense.

Not only do these guys produce awesome hot sauce - my favorite is their chunky garlic pepper sauce - but their customer service is exceptional as well. Recently I ordered a case of hot sauce. One of the bottle's neck was broken. I emailed the company with a picture of the broken bottle, and within four days they sent me three new bottles. That is awesome.

Well, Blossom Valley Foods makes Pepper Plant Sauce, and I need Pepper Plant Sauce to live, so I guess I better share this useful tool here, as well as on the Pepper Plant Sauce page in case anyone else is in the same boat. Blossom Valley Foods makes Big Daddy's Bloody Mary Mix, and I must say it is Simply the best Bloody Mary Mix in a bottle! Just give it a try and you will agree, if you are a true Bloody Mary fan!!!

A friend brought me a bottle of Pepper Plant Original Pepper Sauce from California several years ago. Although I think it's a little bit on the salty side, the flavor is awesome. I use it on just about everything (eggs, vegetables, potatoes, meat, in a cheese quesadilla...) and have since purchased three or four cases via their online store. I rated the price as "moderate" because of the per bottle average, although buying by the case takes a little forethought ($45.) I can't stand the thought of being without a bottle on hand, though, so I always end up buying a new case! Their customer service and speed of delivery is outstanding.
