I will take my business somewhere else where they respect women/customers. I spent 8 minutes watching 5 employees argue over who could mix me some paint, they kept pointing to one another and none of them wanted to actually do some work. Very disrespectful! If I were a man they would have done it. Why pay 5 people to do nothing? I told them this was clearly too hard for them and I would go elsewhere with all my future business.

I went in today to have a fab key programmed for my car. Luis did an outstanding job. I would highly recommend going to have your keys made and programmed at Ace hardware in Gilroy. Thank you Luis for your help today.

Never helpful, long wait for service, I just walked out after waiting 10 minutes for their key station. Worst service in one of the few hardware stores left in town.

Wonderful customer service. Kind and informative employees! The employees here went above and beyond to help us find what we were looking for . They also have knife sharpening for very reasonable prices(bring your kitchen knives!). Thank you to our local Ace Hardware!!

They close their business earlier then posted, guy at the door enforcing this rule lacked a level of tacked and professionalism. We close ten minutes earlier than the posted hours. Which aren't posted on the store. 3 of us left out too dry on last minute things we didn't think we needed in the last minutes of their day. I do feel it's the little things that make a store some place you want to shop in.

I ordered Florel online and had it delivered to the Gilroy, CA store for pickup. I got the email stating my order was ready for pickup and went to the store to pick it up. At the store I received very rude service from the employee that worked the paint counter who was ask by another employee to help me. He couldn't find my order and said that it was probably stolen as it happens alot. I waited around for 20 minutes and another employee found it on the store shelf to be sold to anyone. My online order was paid. No apology from the employee, just rude service. I emailed the store owners to bring it to their attention. It's been two weeks since I sent the email and not even an acknowledgment that they got it.So, I will not be shopping at this store in the future. I will be shopping at the Morgan Hill store instead.

Super helpful staff at this spot and a wide variety of plumbing hardware and all sorts of things you would need it's definitely a lot smaller than Lowe's or home Depot but it's a lot easier to interact with the employees and they seem quite a bit more skilled.

While it may not have the complete selection of local big box stores, Ace can very likely meet the every day demands of the average shopper. The service here is friendly, professional, and helpful. While it may still be part of a larger chain of stores, there's more of a "Mom & Pop" feel to this place that I appreciate.

As always a very knowledgeable and helpful employee helped me find exactly what I was looking for. I especially like that I can buy individual screws, nuts, locknuts, or washers and don't have to buy prepackaged where you end up with leftovers. Overall the experience is always great because not only they have what you need but they help you find it.
