There are literally hundreds of other wineries in the area that can give you a better experience! The whites were the only decent wines on the tasting flight. The reds were almost as disappointing as the service. If I'm paying $20/person I would expect someone to at least walk us through the wine list. They sat us down with a non discript wine list and that was the extent of the customer service. Very disappointing service to say the least.

This visit was bittersweet. Our first visit to this winery was in 1988. Lots of good memories. Now they are being bought so the tasting room will be closed. So sad. Michaela poured their wonderful wine for us and we talked about their long history. We will miss you all.

I attended the wine barrel tasting(beginning of March) and the pictures online caught my attention of the property and therefore led us to trying them out for the first time and I must say my party of 6 all left very disappointed and felt like it was a waste of time. Once I entered the wine tasting room with my party of 6, it was very busy, loud and packed. Since it was so busy there were no greetings. We walked inside wondering where we were supposed to go, then we saw a chalk board leading the way. Once, we entered the area for the barrel tasting only two wines were being offered, nice a white and red. :) I walk up to the wine consultant and greeted him, no response. I extend out my glass asking what he was pouring and with a straight face no kind of emotion he states "Wine". I say "I am very well aware of that, but what type of wine is it?" The male wine consultant just points at a sign and doesn't say anything. I wasn't the only one treated that way since another group came in and got the same treatment. First of all I must say who dragged him out here?! Why did they choose a guy with zero customer service? I don't care who he is but treating customers in an annoyed manner gives a bad impression on the business, especially for first timers. I was so upset with his poor attitude that I didn't even ask for the second pour, my group grabbed a brochure and we headed out. Once in the car we realized that the tasting room was also doing complementary tastings but we decided to leave and all felt very upset. I am not sure if I am going to give them a second try, if I do it won't be until a long time.

This winery has the best Rosé and customer service that I experienced during barrel tasting weekend. McKayla was very knowledgeable, friendly, and helpful. I definitely recommend others to try their wine.

We came to taste my favorite pinot noir. Unfortunately it was a rainy day & we were the only ones at the tasting room. The server didn't interact with us and seemed like she was ready to leave. She did answer our questions, but we were left with the feeling that she was in the wrong job. Her voice was low and hard to hear. You really want an outgoing and engaging person in the hospitality business and she was not. Good thing the wine was everything I wanted!!

Disovered Cab Sav on the Radiance of the Seas cruise to the New Caledonian Isles yesterday! What a pleasant surprise! Fantastic red wine! An undiscovered gem! Hopefully I will have the opportunity to enjoy this incredible wine on my planned visit from Perth , Western Australia to the U S of A later this year March/April!

I love this beautiful well-kept winery! So much attention to detail inside the tasting room with a fun shopping area. Shopping while slightly buzzed is the ultimate. The wine is divine. We like the 2014 Marlstone the best! The grounds are gorgeous all year round. Come check it out in Geyserville!
