Well, I had the lasagna and it was probably the best I have ever had! Also, the kale salad was so good and i am not a huge fan of kale. Went for moms birthday. They treated us like vips.

It’s been a long time since I’ve left a restaurant and immediately started trying to find an excuse to book my next reservation. But Chef Domenica Catelli and the entire team at Catelli’s achieved this, and then some!Knowing that this was a special dinner for me and my friends visiting from out of town, the service team welcomed us with an incredible surprise of fresh prosciutto, house made burrata, arugula and toasted bread along with the sweetest welcome note. What a way to start! When you think home style Italian in America, many of us think rich sauces, heavy entrees, and large portions. While the third point couldn’t be more true her(thanks to my friend Annie for the leftover pasta!) our entrees were full of flavor, made with fresh local ingredients and so nice and light that we couldn’t help sharing amongst the three of us. My friends had the fresh pasta with butter and cheese (simplicity at its finest), Chef Domenica’s famous lasagna (not your grandmas lasagna.. and I mean that in the best way possible!) and I had the Chicken Parmigiana served in a cast iron skillet. Gorgeous presentation, beautifully cooked crispy chicken, and a delicate topping of fresh mozzarella and a light, yet savory tomato sauce.Since we weren’t completely stuffed from our meal, we opted for two desserts to share, the chocolate molten cake with rich (yes, this one was rich… and the crowd favorite!) dark chocolate and the tiramisu which was equally delicious. The meal was paired with five-star service from the entire team, from our server (I’m kicking myself for forgetting his name but he was a young gentleman and exemplified wine country hospitality to a T) to the manager who graciously came to check on us at the end of the meal. And yes, the wine did flow from the bottle of local Dry Creek Valley Pinot that we all shared. As a local Santa Rosan who should have gone to Catelli’s a long time ago when I moved out here, I recommend you don’t just walk, but run, to Catelli’s on your next visit to Geyserville. From the intimate decor to the classic Italian fare and warm, gracious service, you’ll be ready to plan your next visit as well!Vegetarian options: Delicious vegetarian pasta dishes and appetizers.Dietary restrictions: There’s a whole section of the menu for those with gluten intolerance so everyone at the table can enjoy.Wheelchair accessibility: Full AA access.

My wife and I love this place from the first time we ate here. Since then there has been birthdays and Christmas parties and they never disappoint. We will keep going back for as long as their doors remain open. Thank you for always making the best food and giving us the best service. Your food is the best in Sonoma County. From having a family outing to a romantic dinner they got you covered. I can’t wait to go backKid-friendliness: Great place to eat as a family they even set up our son with crayons to keep him entertained. The service is truly excellent and it’s nice they allow kids and provide a family friendly atmosphere.

Simply a superb lunch. The house salad with a housemade sun dried tomato dressing was outstanding. We split the lasagna with meat sauce - off the charts. Must have been made by a Nona. Who else could fit 10 layers of ethereal sheets of very tender pasta in a single dish? And the service by Cameron was very friendly and extraordinarily competent. He was as good and pleasant as servers get. A delight all around on a beautiful sunny afternoon.

This is the only time I've eaten out for Italian food and been blown away. There isn't an herb out of place. None of the dishes are overly busy. They use simple and perfectly executed recipes. Highly recommended.

We were on a long annual road trip and had a yearning for Italian. A quick Google search and we decided to drive another hour and stop at Catelli's. The staff did not disappoint! They were pretty busy, but since we had a reservation, we were seated within 10 minutes. The food was excellent, starting with the meatball sliders, easily the best part of our meal! I had the rigatoni with Richard's meat sauce and my wife had the Chicken Parmigiano. Both tasted great and a side of garlic bread was the perfect compliment. Catelli's just became a part of our annual trip!

Today we had a really unfortunate experience at what use to be one of our favorite restaurants in Sonoma county. The last time we had eaten here was for our anniversary and it was also a disappointment, we decided to not judge them because we had so many pleasant experiences before that. But this time we went for lunch at 1 pm and sat at the bar with only 8 other people dining in the entire restaurant at the time. And not a single other person at the bar with us. The only good thing about our "meal" was the wine. The salad was over dressed and had about 10 lbs of Parmesan cheese on top and tasted like it had sat under a broiler for 20 min. The burger was dry, no sauce, bun was completely stale, and not impressive for such a basic menu item. Our bartender/server checked on us maybe twice and would barely look our direction. We sat with our crappy food in front of us for 30 min before someone came over to us. It suck's to have to send things back and we hate doing it but it was not edible. She was talking to another person who clearly worked there who was helping himself to food and drink for the majority of our time there . It just didn't seem like we were a priority as paying customers. We use to love this place, it's constantly booked for reservations. But we will not be back for a long time. Our new spot is next door called diavola, great food and reliable service. Even the gun club has a better experience than this place. Too bad.

My husband took me there for my birthday. They have fantastic lasagna. It is a 10 layer lasagna that they make the noodles for and the Italian sauce. The sauce can be either meat sauce or a vegetarian sauce. The pasta on this is so paper thin that you taste all the flavors. My husband had the lamb shank, so beautifully cooked and so tender. They have an amazing selection of wine and a soup which there are two that is amazing. Very nice people family owned and featured on diners, drive-ins, and dives. The ambulance there is quite the waiters there are fantastic. They make sure that you are happy with what you have, and the service is quick, and they make sure you are comfortable. They can serve large groups and have a fireplace in the main room. How is that for ambience .
