Great selection of Pinot noir and skin contact white wines. Loved the outdoor seating area and nice charcuterie board. Friendly service and overall great experience!

Such a lovely tasting room with unique wines and beautiful art hanging on the walls. The back garden is so zen and relaxing and decorated by the interior designer wife of the owner of the winery. Wish I could have stayed for hours.

A wonderfully decorated and welcoming tasting room in the heart of Geyserville. The wines are tasty and innovative. It's a great place to drop by and spend an afternoon, either inside or in the cute patio. Also dog friendly!

Fantastic family owned and operated establishment with decades of industry experience. They’ve newly opened a tasting experience in an old bank in Geyserville maximized for indoor and outdoor event space while keeping the historical integrity. Recently had the chance to stop in for a taste and enjoyed the Italian style orange wines especially the Riesling. Several of the library Pinot Noir are noteworthy and a nice cost to quality ratio. With Healdsburg area becoming more touristy less hospitable this stop was a nice taste of what West Sonoma used to be: friendly, hospitable and high quality family wines.

A very interesting experience. Our server, "Duncan" was very entertaining and very knowledgable. The space is just lovely with fabulous artwork. Their wines are quite unique, especially their Riesling and their "orange" wine, Ribolla. Highly recommended. Reservations are recommended but not necessary but we would suggest you do that, especially in the summer.

Incredible! We stumbled upon this place on our girls getaway. This location is hidden in plain site because it' is on the Main Street but from the outside it almost looks like a gallery. The place is beautifully decorated, every single part of the decor is well thought out and you can basically have a photo shoot anywhere! The main reason to visit though is obviously the wines. They have an amazing selection of whites, rose and others that are less common in this area. Duncan is extremely knowledgeable and super personable. He goes above and beyond for his guests and made it a fun and memorable experience. He is the absolute best!. We will be coming back for sure. I already need a refill of the rose!

This winery is a hidden jem. Duncan was so much fun and he was knowledgeable about the wine. He was able to answer all the questions we had. The wine is amazing definitely not your typical white wines; along with beautifully crafted Pinot Noirs.

A group of six of us stopped by the Bannister Wines tasting room while waiting for our number to come up for dinner at Diavola. We had never heard of Bannister wines. We sat down after the young man working the tasting room cleared away several bottles and trash from the table. Nice decor. We decided to buy a bottle of Pinot Noir and enjoy a glass while we waited to go to dinner. The young man serving us was drinking while working which I have never experienced before. He was loud and his mannerism suggested that he was a bit intoxicated. We enjoyed the Pinot. It was good but not exceptional. We finished the bottle and he brought around a bottle of another Pinot for us to try. He poured a splash in one glass, put the half full bottle on the table and walked away. We all looked at each other trying to figure out what he was doing. He went off an was chatting with a couple of men about his age. We called after him but he either didn't hear us or ignored us. I picked up the bottle and looked at the label and after a bit I decided I wanted a splash too. As I went to pour a bit it my glass, he came and grabbed it out of my hand rather roughly and informed me that we were supposed to share the one tiny splash between the six of us! Why did he leave the bottle? Who knows. But then he went ahead and poured us all a splash but his demeanor had turned very sour. We tasted the wine and it also was good but not amazing. Thankfully, our table at Diavola was ready and we were certainly ready to go. That's when he started loudly badgering us for a tip for the extra tastes. He loudly dropped 3 F-Bombs in front of his customers while badgering us. Seriously! He followed us out the door, still wanting a tip and finally said he was removing our email address from their guest book. No problem! There's no way we would go back to that place. We had a nice dinner at Diavola and an hour later we came out and had to walk by Bannister Wines again. He was standing out in front with the same two men and still drinking. The next day, I got an email asking how my experience at Bannister was and I clicked on the Unhappy face. I then reported what we had experienced the night before. Shortly thereafter, I got a reply. Obviously, this same guy answers the emails because he was pretty peeved at my critique of his behavior. I had simply reported what I experienced and was not rude nor vulgar.I recommend you avoid this place completely. The wines are not spectacular and there are tons of other wineries and tasting rooms that don't allow their hosts to drink on the job. Most awkward tasting room experience ever.

This was the BEST tasting we did all weekend!! Duncan is so amazing!! He is an absolute master wine connoisseur and he knows his wines. I would strongly recommend this tasting room! Every wine he gave us was delicious, Duncan knows how to choose wines and we will definitely be back!

Almost missed this spot walking down the Main Street of this small town. Was nonplussed to be served an amazing selection of wines with an extremely enthusiastic sommelier. The white selection features a Riesling--which I ordinarily think of as being uncomfortably sweet--but it was spectacular, best Reisling I've ever had. The foyer has a very old timey decor, with a look from like a bank of the Old West. Really glad I stopped here for a tasting while staying nearby
