Very inconvenient when they close the desk between 12 & 1 PM for lunch. They could schedule to accommodate the public as USPS used to run by a code of honor.

Their very nice and efficient at the Georgetown PO. Can't blame any Amazon issues on them. Amazon's own delivery hardly get it right.

THE POSTMASTER IS ABSOLUTELY RUDE, OBNOXIOUS, AND NEVER HELPFUL, AND IN FRONT OF MY CHILD EVEN. IT WILL BE A GREAT DAY WHEN SHE RETIRES AND IT CANT COME SOON ENOUGH IN MY VIEW. HOWEVER, THE OTHER EMPLOYERS ARE VERY FRIENDLY AND HELPFUL.

New to the neighborhood. Ordered some baby diapers on Amazon and needed them today. They refused to deliver because we haven't brought by a proof of residency. I work 9-5 out of the area and don't have time to do so today. They say it's to prevent squatting, but if you think about it refusing to deliver diapers is really just encouraging squatting (terrible joke, I know...). 1 star review due to the snobby, unhelpful attitude of the lady who answered the phone.

Cathy is a sluggish negative person who is rude to all non-locals and extorts packages from customers who are vacationing. It's sickening. My husband and I are extremely kind and she just sighs at us in hatred. Otherwise, the other staff members seem fine. But, heed my warning as a Georgetown "out-of-towner '

Used to be nice and friendly, helpful to customers. Always left smiling. My letter carrier is Wonderful and dark hair gal at counter very sweet, but the other gal is sarcastic and very rude. No excuse for her attitude.

The Post Office in Georgetown listed there time on there website as closing 4:15, but when my husband gets there at 4:00, they are already closed. I think they need to stay open until at least 5:00, it is hard to get to the Post Office before it closes, and they don't open until 9AM, how are working people supposed to pick up packages.
