Andrew was very kind, he explained everything very well and even sent me a video showing me that the A/C compressor clutch was not working properly. My A/C is working perfectly.

This was my first time using Shige's. I was very impressed. Andrew was very helpful and the inspection was detailed and included photos. The work was completed the same day. The service was much better than my experience with the local Nissan Dealers. I will use them from now on. Thank you.

Yay- I have a 30-year-old Previa Van. So there are bound to be issues. But I do believe in the miraculous powers of Toyota and the durability of their vehicles. So I am putting faith in my Previa for the time being. I needed a good mechanic who would communicate with me so I would be sure I was not taking the wrong path in my desire to keep the beast on the road a little longer. So happy with Shige's/John Mechanic and Andrew at the desk. I am a bit persnickety and they just rolled with it. So glad I found these guys. I am more in love with my van now since it is running like a top. Thank you!

Shige's is awesome. They have been fixing my cars for nearly 25 years now and I drive nearly an hour to see them (we used to live closer). Their shop is one of the cleanest you will ever find and the people who work there are so helpful and honest.
I was just there a few hours ago waiting for my car. Here is a story, it happened during my wait. An elderly woman drives up, parks her car in their driveway (kind of blocking the only entrance and exit), and walks into the waiting area. She says she ran over something and it damaged the underside of her car, something was now hanging from underneath. She could see it and was a little scared to drive. One of the guys behind the counter offered to look at, he put it back in place and he didn't charge her a thing. He told her she should probably have it looked at (she didn't have an appointment and their mechanics were all busy) to be sure it was OK. He didn't charge her a thing and didn't pressure her into making an appointment at their shop to get service. She sorta thanked him and drove off.
Sadly, many business don't care enough about others, their community, or the quality of their work to extend a helping hand to a stranger.
