I never post yelp review before, but white gold moving and storage did an amazing job. They showed up on time and the movers were very friendly, price was fair and everything arrived safely. I really recommend this company to anybody, thank you Jamie, Gustavo and Antonio

BEWARE. Like many other reviews state, do NOT trust these guys. First of all, the whole experience has been so complicated. I made the first mistake of going through a broker. The company that picked up my items was Cheetah Movers dba: White Gold. The pick up was a nightmare. "Apparently" the broker under quoted me & Cheetah Movers gave me the option of either having to pay $1k more (to move 1/4 of my items) or $2k more to move it all. I chose the $1k because I was already infuriated & decided I would sell my furniture instead. They also made me pay $150 for my 3 flights of stairs, even though the broker told me it was included in the quote. Yes, I did call the broker & they stated there is nothing to be done & that the broker gives an "estimated" quote, but if the movers decide more space is needed, then so be it. I will be writing a review on the horrible broker experience as well (Gold Standard Moving). The drop off was also irritating. I tried to count the items with the gentleman dropping them off, but he pretty much rushed out on me & said if I have any issues, to call the company within 30 days. It was naive of me to sign the paperwork, but I was so flustered, that I made that d*** decision. I was also charged another $150 for now only 2 flights of stairs. How in the world can you charge the same $150 for 2 flights vs. 3 flights since the broker charges for per flight..makes zero sense!! Fast forward 3 days & I find that ONE box is missing. It happened to be the box with my most important/expensive items. ALL of my jewelry that included irreplaceable items I've had my entire life, $500 worth of perfume, etc. It's violating assuming that they stole it, but it's very suspicious with him rushing out on me while attempting to count & that it happened to be that one. Calling the company to express my issue made me even more upset. They only have 1 person answering the phone & he doesn't give a crap. They don't care, they're insincere & don't realize that these are peoples life belongings that have an effect on someone. The moving process is stressful enough & this company made it almost unbearable. ALSO- Two of my boxes were chewed through by RATS!!! To say I was disgusted to see rat feces in my wrapped items & things ruined is an understatement. That put the sour tasting cherry on top of what has been a nightmare. STAY FAR AWAY!

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. This was the absolute worst experience. I have moved six different times in my adult life and this was by far the worst experience I have EVER had. The parent company I hired sub contracted these people, who are unreliable, unresponsive, rude and unprofessional. I was happy to know they are a veteran owned company as my fiancé is active duty, but I spent over 10,000 on the move from Seattle to San Diego and once they sent my "job" out to cheetah movers and white gold moving and storage they were nowhere to be found. I had to buy various pieces of new furniture because they were damaged in the move, anything that was glass was broken upon arrival, and to top it all off when it was unloaded on the wrong day starting at 8:00 PM they left everything in the middle of the yard. I filled out a warranty claim and filed numerous complaints with no response or even an apology from ANYONE. I would have been better off selling everything and starting over because I ended up having to buy new things anyway and was 10,000 in the RED!!

SCAM COMPANY! AVOID AT ALL COSTS!!!! We started with a company that had good reviews, but then realized that they were a broker when White Gold Moving showed up at my home this morning. The only reason for 1 star is because the actual workers wrapping and loading my belongings did a nice quick job. When they packed most of my stuff the quote was wrong based on the underestimate from the company. I was quoted one price and when %75 of my stuff was already loaded they said it was now going to cost me $26,000 and they weren't able to get all of my stuff in the truck!! When I said no way they then began trying to haggle and changed the price 4 more times! I did not trust them not to try and hold my stuff hostage at our destination so I told them to cancel the whole thing and unload my stuff immediately. The foreman became mad and when I asked to see the paperwork we had began to fill out but I had not signed yet. He had not written any numbers or prices down on the paperwork but I refused to sign it u til everything was final. He refused to show me the papers and tore up the contract. In front of me and walked off. As they were unloading my things he tried to say I owed him another $1200 on top of the $1900 deposit I already paid just to unload the truck. Needless to say I was on the phone with the brokerage company and refused to pay anything else and they agreed. All of my things are now sotting in my yard and driveway as I scramble to figure out what to do next. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!

I recently moved from Washington to Arizona the cost was five figures. This company was contracted and ultimately delivered and unloaded what was left of my furnishings. There were multiple items broken beyond use, lots of glass items a large computer desk (smashed) my Whirlpool Cabrio washer and much much more all banged up or not useable. The driver was very rude and very unprofessional calling me dude and bro. They quickly finished unloading but did not unwrap or stage any of our big items they simply disappeared in a flash (I believe because they knew then what had happened.) When I called them on the phone to to come back because they were not done he simply said I'm just the driver and hung up. These people underestimated my damage and offered .60 cents per lb on their estimated weight for 2 items. My fault for not buying insurance but having paid as much as we did I to move and having not done this before I didn't think we needed the added expense. Bottom line please AVOID this company save yourself the heartache and despair not to mention the $$$ If I could put them out of business I would

I was quoted $610.55 at pickup and another $610.55 at drop off to move 30 boxes and 2 TVs. When the movers arrived one of them by the name of Joe attempted to extort an additional $2,000.00, yes TWO THOUSAND DOLLARS, from me stating that I need a larger truck. I simply asked if they would just take what could fit in the truck size I purchased, Joe then yelled "I don't have time for this", and walked out. All of this happened while I was on the phone with the broker company so thankful the representative heard all of this take place. Cheetah Movers dba White Gold Moving please hire some professionals. Just because a little boy by the name of Joe, with the emotional intelligence and professionalism of a 3 year is physically capable of doing the job does not mean you should hire him, it degrades your company. I will add the other young man with him was kind and respectful but at the end of the day the job was not done and you have yet another unhappy customer. I encourage anyone who experiences a situation like mine where someone is trying to extort money from you to notify the Federal Trade Commission and the office of the Attorney General as I did. If everyone that has this issue files a complaint free online the company will be held responsible. Hope this helps.

DON'T WALK - RUN FOR YOUR LIFE AND NEVER TRUST THESE PEOPLE. This is, by the way, my first ever yelp review. Truly TERRIFYING. I was unfortunately scammed by a broker in advance of White Gold Moving arriving at my home. Without introducing themselves, (one man did and I will not name him as he was the only honorable crew member and I don't want to endanger him) bombarded through my home reeking of cigarettes, took photos of all of my belongings, and sent them to their "boss". They had promised to break down furniture and upon looking at my dining room table ( a 4 seater table that my 4 year old could disassemble) they said they weren't going to take it and if they were taking the table and sofa my new grand total would be 5k additional on top of $1500 I had sent the "BrOoOKer" - who was the "moving company" up until 24 hours prior. The Leader of the group never disclosed his name - but the young man mansplained me (first time using that term as well) to high heavens as to how "he's a professional and knows 600 cubic feet when he sees it" without once pulling out a measuring tape. As a designer and wife to a custom garage door builder, he was talking down the wrong person on measurements. He was so unbelievably unprofessional, crass, rude, and truly a disgust to have in my home. We sent them off as they were clearly attempting to bamboozle us. They disclosed that they had not received payment from the broker, that they have nothing to do with the broker. Overall, nasty business model. NEVER EVER HIRE THESE PEOPLE. I am so grateful we didn't let our life go in the truck with them. Dishonest as it comes.

Please please do not hire them. You will repent if you do not follow what is written here. I will not bore you by repealing the stuff here, it is all similar. I have understood the modus operandi. They will take advantage of your situation, first the initial estimate will be refused on some ground, then you will be given a new estimate of their choice, All worse things will happen to you whatever you can think. Over estimate, poor packing, poor handling, breaking, missing, delay, misbehavior, you think and it will happen to you. Note these names, they are all same Cheetah movers, Eli, Laura, White Gold. And why will your claim never compensate you, because your claim is based on the weight of the item at a rate you agree before move, mostly $.60 per lb. So if they miss a dining table worth $500 ( depreciated) you are going to get something like $100ish or less according to the weight. You can never overcome the cheaters.

our move with Cheetah moving out and White Gold moving in was a disaster. They asked for much more money and no way to negociate. It was like extortion as they said they won't unload the truck if we did pay $4500 in cash. We had to pay and did it on video with 2 witnesses. A lot of items were broken because of poor wrapping. And... we got boxes and items that did not belong to us like an expansive TV, Christmas decorations.... What a mess ! we are starting to file a mutual claim with other customers.

Do not waste your money, White Gold moving is a scam! If I could give a negative 5 star review I would. Eli was completely disrespectful- talked a good game and was super polite in the beginning then nickel and dimed our family since we hired them. We're out thousands of dollars because of this scam. The original quote was for one truck and on moving day Eli said we needed to pay for a second one - acted like we had lied to him about how much stuff we had. When our things were delivered to the new address they came in one truck that was not all the way filled. We clearly didn't need to pay for a second truck. Only three people showed up to unload the truck. They would not unload the truck / give us our belongings until we made the last payment in cash - would not accept any other forms of payment. The people who showed up to unload the truck clearly had answered an ad and were not affiliated with the company. Our belongings arrived broken. My great grandmothers antique table is busted. Lawn mower is broken. So many more things were broken. Most our boxes looked like they were kicked across parking lots and thrown around. I could go on. Will likely be filing a police report. Thanks for nothing Eli.

Save yourself the trouble and avoid this business at all costs. Do not enter any agreements with any moving brokers that contract this company.

IF YOU VALUE YOUR BELONGINGS, HIRE SOMEONE ELSE OR MOVE IT YOURSELF!!! Also uses the company name of Cheetah Movers. Their phone number 818-877-1921 is now disconnected...Not a single positive to list. Cross country move. Showed up late on move day. Presented empty truck, told me it's cubic sq ft, and what I was expected to fill based on my estimate. After loading, told me rate was increased by $1200, not because I had taken up more space then allotted, but because there were extra items (like slats for my bed that the broker did not document). Called Broker to talk to movers, but movers would not wait. Said I could pay (in cash) or they would unload truck and charge me anyway for their time. Belongings went into their storage area. When I contacted them to arrange drop off in my new state, was told that they could not give me a firm date-per contract they had 30 business days from notification. They took 33 business days. When I asked where my furniture was, Eli text me, "Be patient. We are moving via tractor trailer, not Lamborghini. LOL" To say he is abrupt, rude and unfazed by complaints is an understatement. He literally does not care about anything but cash. On arrival to my new address, the driver told me they were late because the original crew "quit" in Texas and he had to drive out from Arizona, then drove the truck to Florida on his own. His "partner" for the day was someone he picked up at Home Depot for day rate. When the truck was opened, it was a mish-mosh of mixed belongings (not all mine) that had tumbled and broke open. The owners of that really nice mattress were probably quit upset at the condition it was being returned to them in.......My furniture was broken, looked like it had been dragged across the parking lot and 1 box was completely empty, its contents strewn across the truck. 2 boxes never made it to me at all. I filed an insurance claim. They deemed my loss to be worth $138. I never received the check, now their phone is disconnected and no one will respond to email. I could go on and on as it was a grueling process, but I think you get the picture. DO NOT HIRE THIS COMPANY or ANY OF IT's AFFILIATES.
