I wish I could say call before you come on a Saturday. I called to verify they were open and received nothing. Drove up on a Saturday at 3:10pm and two guys curtly told me they were closed. On to another tire shop who will at least be personable and have correct hours of operation.

Got a used tire from this place and the next day it was flat. Waited to Monday to get the tire exchange as it is suppose to open at 7am. I waited till 830am and decided to go someone else.

I had a tire pop while on the highway and the rim damaged the inside of the tire. They were very kind as to show me the damage and explain to me why it could not me repaired. I had to buy a new tire. At first they offered me a used one but I let them now I commute a total of 2 hours every day and so they then told be that they didn’t think they had a new tire the same size as mine and were ready to send me to another place. I believe speaks wonders of their character but they ended up finding one the same size and gave me a good deal on a brand new tire. I was out of there within 15- 20 minutes. Would definitely come back again when needed.

My moms tire popped and this was the only tire shop open, when we arrived they assisted us and got us back on the road in no time,super thankful for them.

Always professional, and always helpful!! The men at Mendez Tires and Auto Service (in Gardena, California) are helpful, professional, and accommodating. Each of the three times I've gone there for my tire issues or other car concerns, they took care of the issue, and, they were kind. One of the few tire shops open on a Sunday. Service was fast and great. Price was very reasonable. I just want to say thank you to the team for patching my tire. I took in my car on the donut spare tire. The gentleman patched the tire and put it on my car. Thank you again for the fast and efficient service. Definitely recommend coming here.

I got a flat tire last Friday on my way home from work. I called AAA to put on my spare and they said it might be an easy patch job. Since it was already 6:30 by the time AAA came, Mendez Tires was the only one in the area that said it was open (until 8pm according to Yelp). I tried calling the number and got no answer and had a voice mail that wasn't set up. I sent an email through their website asking if someone could contact me and then tried calling back a few times, just in case they were just busy. One of the 3 times I called, someone answered, then just hung up. A week later and I never got a response to my email, even if only to say "Sorry, we were closed/busy, etc" . I'll give them an extra star just because I'm only rating them on lack of responsiveness.

Do not buy the used tires. I bought one when I was in a jam 35 bucks, but now my car shakes and makes loud noises. Took it to a shop and purchased new tiers and they told me this place sold me a bad tier. I had them previously place and balance my other cars tiers with no issues.
