I leave a 1 star for this company because we have been waiting to resolve an issue with them for almost a year now. Last August we moved into a new home. The movers tore our leather couch as they unpacked. We made the report to management and spoke with Kim who requested a form to be filled out and pictures to be sent. They assumed responsibility and said a check will be issued. The check was reportedly mailed out by their accountant to the wrong address 2x. They said they would resolve this and still have not. This is beyond unprofessional, unethical and fraudulent. We have referred so many family members and friends to this company over the years and will definitely inform them about this matter.

We used Remington movers three times in the past, both for local and long distance moves between Southern and Northern California. Each time we came away impressed with the quality and value of the service they provided. Cesar and Juan show up on time, are very professional and courteous, and work very hard to protect the furniture and complete the move in a most efficient manner. I highly recommend Remington Movers for any moving needs.

Very good experience! We moved from one part of LA to another. I sent requests for quote on Sunday and Kim responded right away while other vendors took forever. He called me on his weekend to get everything setup and was very responsive throughout. The movers (Don, Jose, George) arrived right on time, were professional and experienced. They pointed out any previous damage and used care. It as a big move, especially at the destination with a 3 level. Poor guys got a serious workout but did not flinch from the job. They make a great team and I will definitely use them again in the future.

Remington Moving was able to help us with a last-minute request to pick up a couple of tables from a warehouse and drive them 150 miles to Joshua Tree, and saved our property's photoshoot schedule. I was helped by Kim, who made sure everything was taken care of and ready to go. Will definitely use again if the need arises.

Remington moved us only a short distance, but moving is tough work no matter how far you go. Our moving team--Cesar, Pedro, and Jose--responded immediately to every request, placing things exactly where we wanted them and putting the dozens of boxes in exactly the places where they could most easily be unloaded. Everything was treated with the utmost care with padding and protection used to safeguard every single item. They worked longer than had been estimated but did not change the estimated price. Much of the added time came because the distance between the unloading area and our unit was farther than expected due to regulations the landlords have about movers. The team was especially careful with our most precious and important items, safeguarding them in every possible manner. Before hiring Remington, we had asked from recommendations from the management of our new apartment building and their enthusiasm for Remington made us confident about them before even placing our first inquiry call. Beyond the movers and their work, the interpersonal skill and professional responsiveness of the office personnel and the estimator, both named Kim, further assured us when we hired Remington that we had made the right choice. We are very pleased tp be able to write this review for such professional, efficient, and courteous people.

By far the absolute best moving company I have ever used. Kim was our rep. She came to the house personally to make sure she knew exactly what we needed for our unique circumstance. She was responsive, knowledgeable, and clearly takes great pride in her company's reputation. She followed up promptly and even called me back after hours when the need arose. To top it off, the folks that performed the packing and moving were great - friendly, hard-working, and more helpful than I could have ever expected. On top off all these fantastic attributes, they are extremely reasonably priced! You won't be disappointed!

Terrible! After 10 years of storing contents of previous residence, here lots of stuff is missing or was stolen in move. They only offered a nominal, low-ball settlement based on weight, not replacement value.

Hoping this is the correct Yelp site for these movers. We had a complicated move - moving Piano 1 from an UPSTAIRS bedroom in house 1, down a curved staircase to House 2 ON A RAINY DAY. Then moving Piano 2 from House 2 to a church Thrift store on the same rainy day. The team was friendly, safe, and efficient. Everything moved without damage. AND they worked quickly - did not try to drag out the time even with the traveling between 3 locations. The thrift store staff said the moving team was friendly and helpful. I would use again. Had been concerned (my brother selected them) but can honestly say that they performed well. Thank you!

I want to thank Remington Moving and Storage staff! I needed help with packing an entire 2 bedroom apartment - last minute. Curtiss and Matthew came to pack up all my things. They were friendly, fast and efficient. I couldn't have asked for better help with packing all my things in a difficult life situation. They made it so much easier. Thank you. I would recommend them.

Tried contacting the manager, Noah about a refund that was owed to me. He avoided my calls for over a week. I had my stuff in storage for almost 3 years and was asking for less than a $100 refund. They are so unprofessional. I had to get my refund by disputing it through my credit card and filing a complaint with the Better Business Bureau.

My wife and my daughter would like to Express our sincere thanks to Kim, Don and George of Remington Moving & Storage. Not only did Kim give as an amazing rate, Don and George showed up early to move us and didn't stop busting their a** until 7:00 p.m. Nothing was lost or damaged and the took a lot of extra care for our things. We highly recommend this company and their team of professionals. They know what they are doing and they proved it to us by really putting in the extra effort to make everything go smoothly. We moved from Upland to Rancho Palos Verdes and that's 59 stressful miles for me and my family. Don was right behind us in his big moving truck and arrived about 15 minutes after us in Friday afternoon traffic! Wow! My family sincerely thanks Remington Moving & Storage, we will recommend this company to ANYONE that needs a highly skilled and professional moving company that truly cares about their customers.

This company was on the preferred Moving Company list given to me from the Azzurra Management, 13700 Marina Pointe Dr, Marina Del Rey,, CA 90292. I hired them, and there were several guys and they started to pack, wrap, and moved my stuff until I stopped them in the middle. They were ruining my furniture before they actually moved the stuff out of my unit. After they delivered a portion of my belongings, and I had time to unpack, I realized they smashed my lamps, cut the material in my sofa and broker several other kitchen pieces. I would not ever use them again. This was 8/2018. If you care about your belongings, Do Not use..

Without any reservations my husband and I firmly hands down recommend this moving company. Our initial contact was with Kim (male) who responded quickly to our outreach, came over for a complete and honest estimate, AND lived up to the quote. We moved across state lines and wanted an "exclusive" truck because we did not want to wait for our load to be delivered. No problem, Kim went over and beyond giving us the absolute best Team we've ever had. We moved 15 times and hands down we won't use anyone else. The Team was polite, precise, efficient, and accurate in every aspect. I don't think the Team stopped for anything but a restroom break. Most of all they were the most respectful group of men that I've ever encountered. Nothing was too much for them. We moved in a total downpour, and they took every measure possible to keep our load dry and protected. They kept in touch with us every step of the trip, making several stops to pick up furniture for us in the most timely fashion (in pouring LA rain). I really cannot stop raving about them and if there were 10 stars, I would have given them that rating. The lead person Cesar is a true professional, and so was Alan and the third person. Don't believe the poor ratings, they are far from the truth. Nothing was broken or damaged! They really respected our furniture and boxes as if they were their own.

The short, I DO NOT RECOMMEND. The Remington movers arrived a few minutes early prior to the scheduled delivery time - which was great and appreciated. It was an easy process to work with them to have the furniture delivered up to the fifth floor in our office. The setup and installation of the two desks was done fairly quickly as well. However, there were a few items of concern regarding this delivery/installation. Mainly in regards to the actual setup of the desks. One desk had a hole on the surface where the movers had drilled too far up from below - pushing the screw through the desktop. The other desk had a pedestal that was installed at an off angel and also only one bracket was used and the other bracket was left half hanging on and not attached to the other portion of the desk - was very disappointed to see this. Overall, although the service was fine - the end quality wasn't. I would not recommend Remington.
