Today I received a court judgment against Koos Nearest Clears in excess of $400 for destroying my personal property (a ball gown) and failing to deliver on prepaid services (alternations). The business did not show up to court. If the court judgement isn't paid, I plan to pursue a lien on their assets until I recover my losses.

DO NOT GO TO THIS BUSINESS. Since 4/26 my items are still not ready, very poor communication and they may or may not have lost a seat cover of mine. On 4/26 when I dropped off the seat cover and a few clothing items, I was not told a pickup time. When I did stop by two weeks later the business on Torrance Blvd was closed and a sign in the window said to call a number to pick up items. I called the number and there was no answer and voicemail was full. I got a text saying they'd call me back and they never did. I texted a few days later and they asked for my ticket number but never responded after that. After checking in via text and call (vm still full) a few more times over the next week or so (with no response), I stopped by the cleaners again. Still closed with the sign to call. When I finally reached him, he said they had moved the business to Gardena and things were "disorganized." I told him I understand moves are tricky but I would've appreciated some communication. He did not apologize. He promised he would call me by a specific time later that day and confirm he had my seat cover (clothes should be ready but he had no idea there was a seat cover). He never did. Anyways long story long, he has repeatedly made promises to check on my items and arrange delivery and call at specific times, but he has never followed through. I am still trying to get ahold of him with no luck. I have never experienced such bad customer service anywhere. It has taken way too long even with a company move to get my items. If I could give 0 stars I would.

I've been here twice to get my dress shirts laundered and pressed. The first time I went, the promised timeline was not met. They didn't even tell me when my shirts would be ready. Turns out it took an additional week. During my next visit they lost one of my dress shirts. I've called multiple times and the gentleman kept promising to call me back but that has not happened. The first time I called, his response was he'll look for it. When I called the second time the excuse was, "I was busy and haven't been able to look into it." The third time I called he said "I haven't found it but it may be at a different location." The fourth time his response was "I'm dealing with landlord issues at one of my locations but I will get back to you." Of course the trend continues, I haven't heard from him. Unbelievable customer service here.

I cannot begin to say enough great things about this place! I ordered some products that were made for me and shipped from overseas. Unfortunately, they were not the quality that I expected and I was in a real pinch to get 800 dog harnesses repaired. I reached out to Koos and they set me up with their Tailor, Jerry. He was remarkable! He did the best job, was completely responsive and I couldn't be happier. They really saved me! Thank you Jerry amd Koos.

It has been 3 months and they have lost my dresses I it was for a wedding the dresses I got back was horrible it looked like a child altered my dress and it was completely faded never go her I stared the process of taking them to court

Wonderful tailoring! I came in to get a velvet bridesmaids dress altered and they did a fantastic job at a very reasonable price. Friendly, professional service, with close attention to detail and quality. Would highly recommend.

Unfortunately, I will not be returning to this cleaners. A few weeks ago, I arrived to the Gardena location with 2 bags of clothes for dry cleaning. I arrive in front of the cleaners, hands full, and the screen was up. I shout politely for assistance since there was no one at the front. The Hispanic guy who typically is there saunters to the front and tells me that I need to come to the back of the cleaners in the alley. I explain to him that my hands are full and I do not understand why I am not able to come through the front door considering I have done so in the past without a problem. He declined my request and did not even offer to at least come out to help me with my bags. Unacceptable and not the level of customer service I expect when I patronize a business.

Quick service for a 1-day turnaround hem request. A bit pricey, but for the quick work, I guess that's what to expect.
