I would give it a 5 star except for the fact that the kennels where the dogs stay all smelled really bad.

UPDATE!!!!
I went back and there’s been improvement in that individual’s demeanor!!! Don’t know if it’s partially due to the review but nonetheless, he was better and I adopted my dog!!!?
I’ve gone to this shelter twice within the past two months looking to adopt. Most of the staff are pleasant and helpful but one particular male worker has the personality of a wet paper bag! Isn’t helpful and when asked anything, he responds as if he’s annoyed and doesn’t care to answer. I asked about adoption fees and still didn’t get a clear answer, even another patron standing next to me commented that he’s always like that. Absolutely ridiculous. Can’t you guys hide him in a back office somewhere???? Very unpleasant demeanor.

I found a box of stray kittens and another animal shelter sent me here because where I found them it wasn’t their jurisdiction. Well I came here they offered no help, they said that because they’re stray that they can’t help and they went as far as telling me to put them back where I found them. That they’ll be able to survive on their own, they’re kittens and the area I found them was a busy street.

I took them dogs that were left abandon in a house and not only did they decline them they told me to leave them back on the abandoned home they are always declining abandon pets

We adopted a wonderful dog from this shelter. The dog had been neutered and microchipped and they were very professional about providing all the paperwork to get a vet exam and license. Hope more people adopt animals from this shelter. Volunteers very helpful. Staff very helpful.

Horrible Place. Animals are being euthanized to make room for more innocent souls. Wish that they would close this place down. It is a kill shelter ? ? ?.

I have adopted all my pets from here. My dog Cafe who recently passed lived 20 wonderful years with us, we adopted him when he was 4. They treat their animals kindly from what I have observed and the staff is super friendly

Dropped off a bunch of toys and blankets and towels embedding, and they were very helpful and very excited to get these gifts to help out the dogs.
