If you need money SUE THIS PLACE, bathroom sign points to freezers and janitors close. This place is located in CALIFORNIA and you don’t have proper locations for a restroom, anyone disabled that has the time to sue this is your bread and butter. Disaster on Haster is what this place is called by all Safeway employees and it shows. I asked someone who definitely work in the meat department about a restroom and he pointed me to the sign, well the sign LEADS TO NO WHERE ! Go down the street to target at least they care somewhat there.

It's a small market so it was easy to locate what we needed efficiently. Though small it had good variety of every grocery shopping of large super markets.

Vons build your own sandwiches have gone down hill. They never have options, like subways. I want onion, black olives, jalapenos, and etc on my sandwich. How come these items are never available when vons is a grocery store and have the items on the sales floor?

I stopped by on a mission in search of a 24 FL. OZ (710mL) can of MEAN GREEN THE BEAST UNLEASHED. Before VONS I had been to TARGET, 7-ELEVEN, JIGGER LIQUOR STORE, and ORANGE LIQUOR MARKET. I was somewhat okay with not finding MEAN GREEN at TARGET or 7-ELEVEN but, in my opinion, it was not acceptable for the liquor stores. Carrying the adult versions on non-adult version beverages is a must for a liquor store. BIG THANKS to VONS for carrying MEAN GREEN. This is my second can of MEAN GREAN and if it wasn't for you there wouldn't be a can chilling in the mini-fridge. And the service is EXCELLENT.

Its not close by so when I had to go back because my 12pk.of cokes were damaged ,,easy return but the grocery manager should of faced the soda isle.

Just got back from Vons on Valley View in Garden Grove. When checking out I asked the cashier if the electronically cliped coupons were done correctly, I am not real familiar with the process. I was told by the cashier that it looked ok, actually it wasn't and I paid the regular price. My mistake, but cashier could have actually checked for me, instead of turning around while I was still fishing the transaction. Pretty much ignored. Anyway I lost out on 10 + dollars of savings. Won't Happen again. Dave A

I tried out Vons' online shopping with curbside pickup at the Chapman location in Garden Grove for approximately 6 months.
Pro: Vons has a simple and easy-to-navigate app that is seamless and clean. Honestly my favorite app
Con: this location does not maintain inventory on its app portal.
If it's on ad your best bet is to shop in-store. I had been told they were out of stock only to walk in and find this was not the case.
Example: Superbowl ad
12pk sodas buy 2, get 3 free
In stock on the app
Was told by the on-duty manager on pickup they were out of stock
I received 2 out of 5 and was charged FULL price (upcharged) and didn't receive the 3 free
Same thing with chips in the ad
In stock on the app
Told on pickup they were out of stock
Same with hotdogs
In stock on the app told out of stock
SUPERBOWL SUNDAY NO HOTDOGS
It was the hotdogs that I found hard to believe they were out of stock
I drove back to Vons and walked the store aisles myself. (See photos below)
I found the manager, who happened to be the same person who did my curbside pickup, we discussed the issue as we walked over to the soda aisle, the chips, and the hotdog aisle. I still can't understand why. I have always been gracious and appreciative every time.
She continued to gaslight me saying in the 35 minutes of being checked out and now, the soda vendor, the potato chip vendor, and the hotdog vendor came and restocked these items.
So the soda guy came after I checked out 35 minutes ago and restocked only the few that I had ordered and nothing else?
She told me that my receipt would be adjusted to reflect the sale price and credit my account accordingly as well as credit the enchilada I returned to her. She told me that it could take up to 2 days to process the adjustments.
It's been 10 days and I have yet to receive the credit.
I left the store in tears
The manager could have easily fulfilled the rest of my order and sent me on my way. I was not asking or expecting anything more than what I ordered and was in fact in stock.
In the end, the manager did not even try to rectify this and she still has my sodas, chips, enchilada sauce, and hotdogs that I paid for
Online orders will receive the least desirable produce ?
Suggestion: Provide the same quality service, prices, and grocery to your online customers as you do your in-store customers.
If we are using the Vons app to shop for groceries, it's not because we're lazy (it takes 2xs longer to shop via the app) we most likely are going through something that makes in-store shopping difficult.

Came here to get groceries and other random items while staying in the area for a mini vacation. We also ordered a birthday cake. Over the phone bakery service was chefs kiss. In person was dry and awkward. - I walked up to the counter and we all stared at each other for a very long time (probably 20 whole seconds) until I finally said that I was here for a cake pickup lol! Anywho I'm a Vons shopper in my area so I felt right at home and already aware of quality of food and price range. This location was always bustling and the cashiers and workers keeping the isles cleaned seemed happy enough. The parking lot however is very sketchy, so get in and get out, don't wait around in your car just drive off.

Terrible system for their restroom usage. I asked where it was located and the woman told me the isle and she would call someone with the key.5 minutes (full 5 non exaggeration) I got annoyed and called the store. That time someone came immediately. Having to wait was completely unacceptable! (For their people to come). Have it open to the public and checked regularly!Store was pretty well stocked, and employees (that I saw, not many were visible at all) were nice.
