I've been here 3x: customer service has been superb and helpful all 3x. Service is NOT a problem. I didn't mind that there were no customers all 3 visits during 3 different months because the place is kept clean. But now I know why... Unfortunately, they proudly sell old, stale, dry, and sour birthday cakes. I have never had a SOUR mocha buttercream cake. The accurate description of this cake is more of gross dinner roll texture. The cream was sour, the cake sponge was sour and GUMMY: this was NOT a fruit cake: it was supposed to be mocha chocolate coffee flavored. $45 in the trash. I would be less upset with bad pastries, but a disgusting birthday cake is embarrassing. I'm not writing this bad review in hopes of getting a refund: I just want to warn the general public - perhaps their stuff is old because they don't get enough customers. They have bad ethical practice without trashing old perishables. I'm never coming back to any location.

Dear Tous Les Jours, One star for excellence in service and mango smoothie concoction that is amazing quality. We bought a 45 dollar Mocha coffee birthday cake, I was promised thick dense goodness and all I got was a sponge with too many holes. There is a weird sour aftertaste, that is not acidity from the coffee but perhaps coldcase freezer burn and lack or freshness. Basically the cake was sour, dry, and sad. I regret celebrating a birthday here thinking I was going to be getting a pleasant surprise to eat together. The place itself is smallish but has enough parking and standing room only no seating. Sale is final, as it stated on my receipt so is my review sadly which I wanted to create a wonderful experience today too.

I just love freshly baked pastries. Their cake here are yummy fluffy, light and not too sweet. Which I love. Their iced caramel macchiato latte hits perfectly too! So good! Also, their cream puffs are delicious too.

I stopped by right before closing and there were still plenty of good choices available. The staff were really nice and even recommended how to best enjoy the three breads I got. This is a nice quick stop shop for a wide variety of sweet and savory breads. I can't eat whipped cream, so I was happy that there was more than just the cream forward selection you usually see at bakeries. The guava bread was refreshing and the brownies are very decadent. I loved that everything had a mellow sweetness that sits lightly on your taste buds.

Man, Tous Les Jours used to be my cake haven. I'd walk in and feel like a kid in a candy store, but for adults who love cake. Their cakes were like the Beyoncé of pastries: flawless, fresh, and fairly priced. But lately? It's like they've turned into a tribute band that can't hit the high notes. First of all, the prices have skyrocketed faster than Elon Musk's rockets, but unlike space travel, there's nothing groundbreaking here. The cakes have shrunken so much, they're practically auditioning for a role in "Honey, I Shrunk the Desserts." And don't even get me started on the texture. It used to be cloud-like; now it's more like a boot sole. Freshness? Forget about it. These cakes taste like they've been around longer than the jokes in a bad sitcom. So, unless you enjoy overpaying for underwhelming cake, you might want to skip Tous Les Jours these days. Ah, how I miss the days when the only thing you'd regret was not getting a second slice.

a lot of my family and friends have birthdays in October and my go to place to get cake is always this place! the workers are always welcoming and friendly and im crazy for cute bakeries as everything was clean and neat! i picked up the strawberry tiramisu cake and the strawberry gateau this month and i love how their cakes are very moist and not dry at all. i also love their savory cream and it's not overwhelmingly sweet comparing to other bakeries. the prices are reasonable too so I'd definitely recommend this bakery if you want to grab a quick bite or pick up a cake!

i ordered a birthday cake like a week in advance and the guy helping me was soo kind. he walked me through everything and was very patient with me even when another customer came in. the cake i got was the green tea cloud cake i think and total was around $52. it comes with up to 10 candles, knife, matches, and writing (if u order 3 or more days in advance i think). when i went to pick up, an employee immediately came over to help me and get my cake. i really enjoyed their service and this will be my go to cake spot from now on! the cake itself is so delicious. its not too sweet and definitely not strong of green tea flavor. my family doesnt like green tea (but i do) so this was great! inside there is also strawberries and i loveee strawberries. the fruits are fresh and clean which shows just how much they care about quality and freshness. i discovered this place after my workplace was given a tous les jours cake from a customer and it was the berry cloud one. it was so good so i had to get this one for my bday!

Visited while we traveled from LA to San Diego. The store was modern and clean. Fresh coffee, friendly staffs and green tea roll cake were really impressive!! We have one in Virginia also but I loved this location more than the one in our area.

Food was good. Service is average. Had to wait in line for long. And was not friendly. Ambiance is good too.

Picked up few pastries since I was craving red bean bread and this place is closer than Paris baguette. I was pretty shocked that it was $3.75 for one. Dollar more than Paris. Not bad but not outstanding to justify the high price and honestly the filling was so skimpy. I'll stick to Paris baguette.

The cake was of high quality, like what you would expect to see like at a high-end attorney's firm celebrating a birthday for one of their partners. High class cake. However, I was not too satisfied with the peach flavor taste. Of course, I understand that it is fresh quality, but it needed little more flavor, like a pudding on the inside. Granted, it is not easy to make a peach cake naturally and have the flavor be strong. But I like strong. Other than that, the look on how it arrives and the whole look after you cut it up is beyond anything I have ever seen. High class. I will be back to try other flavors, have my eye on their strawberry cake. Natural strawberry has a strong flavor. I am looking forward to ordering this next time.
