After my work van breaking down on me I went to Simpson of Garden Grove. Diego Ortiz came out of the building with a very passive and calm vibe walked me around to see potential trucks. With no bs I told him my budget and monthly he then went in and had all the paperwork ready with an awesome deal that closed in minutes literally minutes I was as done in less than an hour and on my way with a new work truck at a stealing price. Great service, thank you!

First time buying a car from a dealer ship. My car search started about 2 weeks ago and dealt with about 10 different dealers. The majority of them came off as dishonest and tried to pressure me to come in to make a deal. Simpson Chevrolet was one of the few dealers that gave me an out the door quote right through email with no pressure to come in. Shoutout to Ron and Pablo, in internet sales, they were transparent and prompt with their responses through email. No other dealer was able to give me a better deal on a new 2023 Bolt EUV. I never felt pressure from Ron and Pablo to close the deal right away which was great. On a Tuesday, I told Ron I wanted to move forward with the deal and by Saturday my car was delivered to the dealer and ready for pick up. When I went in Pablo was easy going and got my paperwork in line. Eddie in financing was great at explaining and getting my contract all squared away even when I had to make a change because of my own misunderstanding. My first car buying was made great thanks to Ron, Pablo and Eddie. They were very easy going and never once felt pressured or dishonesty coming from them. I would highly recommend!

Talking about gouging customers. They bill repair labor at $300/HOUR. What a rip-off.

I have an invoice showing my car harness was chopped into. NO ONE told me they cut the engine harness. the DLC under my steering wheel has 2 red spliced connecters on it. This is not how you do business.

Just purchased a used truck from Pablo. The truck will not be ready until Tuesday and I live 45 minutes away, so Pablo is personally going to deliver the truck to me. Simpson Chevrolet of garden Grove has gone out of their way to provide excellent customer service.

This was the absolute worst & most unprofessional encounter I have ever had, EVER. Came in for what was supposed to be an oil change. Dropped off the truck at 1:00pm on 12-26-23 with "Huu" who then proceeded to try and upsell me multiple things that aren't necessary on a truck with only 35k miles. Including "throttle body service" "break flush" "change filters" among other things. All of these services were done previously to the truck at this dealership by the previous owner multiple times already. After I declined all these upsells, "Huu" said my truck should be ready within 3 hours as shown in the document he gave which I signed. It shows "promised time 4:00pm" I then received a text to my phone with a number that I can text to check on the progress of my car with "Huu" after 4 hours had elapsed without a text or email of any kind with an update letting me know the routine oil change would be done (I made an appointment at 1:00pm which was confirmed, I did not show up without appointment) I texted "Huu" at 5:12pm to ask when the oil change would be completed. "Huu" never responded. At 5:34pm I called the service center & a woman whose name I didn't catch answered, I asked her why my car wasn't ready. She said she would put me on hold & ask "Huu" after 30 seconds she said she can't reach him but she will pass on my information to Huu through text. Prior to this I had told her that he wasn't answering me through text. Why she would try and contact him through the phone instead of walking over next door (literally next door) where I had my interaction with "Huu" I do not know. She then said something about maybe it will be ready/can be picked up "overnight" I then waited all evening & night & no one ever contacted me. Without a car the next morning (I work at 6am) I had to call off, since I didn't want to spend $50 dollars to get to work & back home through Uber. At 7:01am on 12-27-23 "Huu" finally texted me, he wrote "good morning , tech is working on it now, he will be finished in 20 minutes with it, apologies for the delay, tech was unable to finish in time last night" at 7:08 am he then sent me a video of "Frank" who I assume is a mechanic in front of my car with the hood open trying to point out things that need to be cleaned & again trying to upsell me. Additionally, "Huu" called me & said the mechanic who worked on my truck says I may have a "leak in the washer fluid lines" & it would cost $250 or so just to get it "looked at" by a "master tech" I declined all of this except to change out the battery which "Frank" said was at 9%, I took his word for it since the battery hasn't been replaced in a couple of years. At about 10am 12-27-23 I was finally able to pick up my truck. Almost 24hrs later, for an oil change. Once inside, on the floor mat in front of the passenger side there was a toothpick. On another occasion I found a single cigarette in my cup holder, neither I nor anyone else that's been in the car smoke or use tooth picks. All in all this was a terrible experience. Absolutely no communication. I will never, ever be coming here again.

This was the best car buying experience I've ever had! The whole process was efficient and quick. We had Grier Steele helping us and he was great. He was great at listening to what we were looking for and asked us questions to make sure we got a car that would fit our needs. When getting down to the purchase part of agreeing on a price and payment Ron Gorey was understanding and got us a great rate and monthly payment we could afford. Everyone we worked with here was great at making us feel heard and understanding of our needs. What a great team! I recommend this dealership to everyone!

We probably called over 10 Chevrolet dealers looking to custom build a Colorado ZR2. Everyone gave us different answers, but a majority couldn't order, and the rest had ridiculous markups. Chris Sanchez at Simpson in Garden Grove was the only one who gave us a confident yes, and most importantly, for a price we were comfortable with. My husband first got in touch with him in July to place the order. He gave us a timeframe of 6 months for it to come in. During that time, he kept in touch and provided updates through text when they were available. Our truck finally arrived in just over 4 months. We met with Chris and he was very friendly and personable. He let us take a look at the truck and then we got right into paperwork. Everything went smoothly and working with Eddie in finance was great. We are so happy with our purchase and truly appreciate all of the help Chris provided. Highly recommend this awesome dealership and make sure to ask for Chris to help you out!

Disappointing Service Experience I recently had my vehicle serviced at Simpson Chevrolet of Garden Grove, and unfortunately, my experience was less than satisfactory. I feel it's important to share my concerns to help others make informed decisions. 1. Extended Repair Time: The repairs took an unexpectedly long 120 days, causing significant inconvenience. I understand that some repairs may take longer than anticipated. 2. Communication Challenges: I often had to take the initiative to inquire about repair updates. Proactive communication would have been appreciated. 3. Vehicle Damage Incidents: Regrettably, my car sustained damage on two occasions during the repair process, which was both surprising and disheartening. This was unexpected and has added to my overall dissatisfaction. 4. Lack of Client Appreciation: Throughout the entire process, I didn't feel valued as a customer. A more client-centric approach would greatly enhance the customer experience, especially considering the circumstances, would have made a significant difference. I acknowledge the presence of dedicated and skilled managers, technicians, and staff who prioritize customer satisfaction, while also recognizing that there may be individuals who do not share the same level of commitment. I believe constructive feedback is essential for improvement, and I hope that sharing my experience will contribute to positive changes.

"We Provide our Customers with the Best Buying and Servicing Experience in the Auto Industry" -Chevrolet Mission Statement I recently purchased a Chevy here. Some elements/departments of this dealer function well, and some want improvement. I've included initials of pertinent staff for Simpson's reference where relevant. Gist of the overall review: I believe this is a reputable and properly functioning car dealership with some flaws in its communications/sales that want addressing or improvement. The salesperson (JL) did a competent and professional job of selling me a 2018 Chevy. He reviewed pertinent policies, and was willing to do some negotiating on a fair price given I offered a car with some but not much trade in value. I would have preferred if Chevy did not have the policy of having its sales staff attempt to sell a $900 windshield warranty/insurance when most auto insurance policies people have to have already cover windshields. It just seemed like another way the dealer was attempting to get 1K out of a customer. JL also helped me unload some heavy equipment out of my trade in. Likely not part of his job desc., but his assistance was appreciated. The finance person (JG) did an acceptable job. At times, I found his approach to his role to be somewhat questionable or wanting improvement. First of all, the term "finance" is clearly a falsification or misnomer. This staff person is mostly there to to sell the buyer an extended warranty for the car. This person may wear other hats within the dealership, but this person mostly wanted to sell me an extended warranty. When I did not express much interest in the warranty, JG mentioned: "If China invades Taiwan, repair costs will double." I found that statement excessive. This person is a Chevy employee, not an ambassador to China or Taiwan. Although there is a kernel of truth to the statement, an informed review of the expensive warranty he was attempting to sell might have been more helpful. In any case, I had no interest in the warranty. Shortly (3 days) after I purchased the car, the check engine light came on my way to work. This circumstance touched off a series of interactions and phone calls with the phone staff and communications staff with the service department and sales department that were forgettable and at times totally wanting in professionalism. Yes, Chevy acknowledged the problem should not have occurred so early, the cause of the light coming on (camshaft sensor) was covered by the return policy, and the dealer generally considered the immediacy of the problem unacceptable. Mgmt. said the dealer would cover the cost of the rental from Enterprise, apologized, etc. etc. Getting the car back from the services dept. and getting information on the progress of the repairs from the services department caused me to have to spend a nightmarish amount of time on the phone. I could not get the right people on the phone initially, and the staff who answers the phone seems non committal and/or not confident as to where to direct customer calls. So just getting to the right contact was a chore. After repeatedly calling the dealer, I found out on a Wednesday (10/25) that the car would be done either later that same day or at the start of the day on (10/26). Out of respect for the dealer's time and the staff's time, I presumed I would definitely have the car back by 10/26 at the latest. 10/25 and 10/26 went by, and I did not receive any communication from the dealer about the status of the car on 10/26 at all. I had to commence another round of calling the dealer repeatedly on Friday (10/27) to get an update. I asked why no one reached out on 10/26, and I was told the individual working on my car had taken a couple of days off. I mentioned this was not a very good reason. The person on the phone said I should have been updated; I was not. The person on the phone admitted the dealer had made a mistake or oversight. Later in the afternoon on 10/27 I received a text saying my car was ready. I now had to hurry the rental b
