I absolutely love coming here. Going into a gym and trying to figure out how to plan out your workouts can be challenging. It can make people feel nervous or have anxiety - but not here! You can see everyone truly loves to help others and your goals. I've been going to the 6am classes with Hailey and I love how motivating and informative her classes are. There's also another area for solo workouts or private classes. I've had private training classes with Adan and he's extremely educated in health and fitness. I wouldn't go anywhere else and have the same trust in care and results. This gym has a great environment, it's clean, the staff and members are so uplifting, and there's an amazing recovery area as well. This place is so convenient for all your health and fitness needs.

Primitive by Swole is a great, boutique gym experience for those looking to get into lifting or those with busy schedules who just need a space and someone else to do their programming.Smaller class sizes really allow coaches to give individual attention when needed and the programming is intentional with progression in mind. In class, they offered modifications for every level as well. Top of the line equipment and higher end touches such as towel service. They also have options to use their open gym space and other recovery amenities if you’re looking for the full package and have a slightly larger budget.

I have been going to this gym for about 6 months and it has been amazing! I have always struggled in the gym with strength training and was not educated on the best techniques/practices. Primitive by Swole not only has helped me to reach goals that I have always wanted to attain, but has helped me to learn and understand how to be the most effective in the gym. I love a class based workout and this gym is 10/10 when it comes to pushing you to do your best, but at the same time catering specifically to your needs even though it is in a group setting. A plus is that they have a separate facility that is open 24 hours if you wanna do a solo workout and not a class based one. The owner and main coach Adan is amazing! He puts a lot of attention to detail in every workout you do and is always motivating you to reach your greatest potential in and outside of the gym. All in all, I would recommended this gym if you are looking to build your strength, gain valuable gym knowledge, and reach your fitness goals.

They're the best! All of the trainers know exactly what they're talking about and make the classes versatile no matter what your training experience is. The private gym has everything you need from a commercial sized gym and more. From a sauna to a cryotherapy. My wife and I have been training with Adan for 6 years and we're not going anywhere!

The gym has the grand fortune of not only having group classes,but also a private on site gym for extra workouts,supplements for sale on site,cryotherapy,massage therapy,and even a sauna to help with overall recovery! The place is essentially a one stop shop. In addition to all the extra amenities that help out the gym over the top,you also get a motivating team of coaches who are always ready to assist you and help you reach that next step in your fitness journey! After having been around to several gyms in the last few years I can say without a doubt that Primitive is unlike any other gym I have ever seen!

The value they provide at this facility is incomparable to any other gym around the area. They have everything to help you reach your goals. I started at this Gym 13 weeks ago. I’m 68 young years. I LOVE this gym. Trainers Jordan and Adan could not be more in tune with everyone’s training. This is personal training and attention. I go 5 days a week. Although I mostly go at 4:00 pm. I know many of the people that go here because we have open activities on Sundays or group seminars. All the people are cool and supportive of each other. This is the right place for you too!

I have been a member of Primitive Movement for Seven months. Honestly, one of the best decisions I have ever made. If you wanna start you fitness journey but don't know where or how this is the place for you. Coach Adan will meet you wherever you are, he will guide in the process of becoming the best version of yourself. In this process; which hasn't been easy, but I have been working to get to where I am, I have seen many changes mentally, emotionally and physically. I have learned how to keep myself accountable and the reason of why integrity is one of the most valuable qualities a person can have, no only when you are training but in every other aspect of your life.

More than just a gym! It's a rare gem in Garden Grove. The coaches are knowledgeable, detail oriented, and friendly. I've never done weight training before, but just shortly after a few classes I felt confident and comfortable around the barbell. The community is supportive, and welcoming. The value they provide at this facility is incomparable to any other gym around the area. They have all the amenities and programs to help you reach your goals. From educational seminars, movement corrective programs, In-Body Scans, Cryotherapy, Infrared Sauna, Massage Therapy, private gym access, etc! I really can't say enough about this place, I love it!

Absolutely the best group training spot in OC!The trainers, Adan and Jordan, push you to your limits while keeping it fun, and the group vibe is so motivating.I've tried other places before that seemed to be all about making you do endless burpees which would leave me with countless injuries. The coaches here actually build workout programs centered around strength, recovery, and mobility.

Hands down the best gym! The coaches are amazing and the community built through this gym is awesome. Everyone is very welcoming and friendly. I actually look forward to going to the gym for once which has made staying consistent much easier. The classes are challenging but you do receive the guidance to do things right and the motivation to keep going. And you can honestly tell that Adan and Jordan genuinely care and are passionate about what they do. I could not recommend this place enough!

100% satisfied with this place. I have been looking for the right gym to fit my needs and schedule for a while now. I even signed up for 24-hour fitness before trying out this place. It does not compare working out on your own to having a professional walking you through the workouts. The vibes are amazing and everyone is very nice and supportive. Highly recommended!
