Oh, where do I begin with Old Town Mart? Imagine my surprise when I walked in, expecting a quaint little shop, only to be greeted by what seemed like the long-lost twin of the Grinch. The owner, a character so cheerless, he could make a clown cry. I once made the rookie mistake of asking for a lottery ticket. His reaction? You'd think I'd asked him to hand over his firstborn. He looked at me as if I'd sprouted two heads, and with a huff that would put a steam train to shame, he mumbled something incomprehensible. Honestly, I half-expected him to start throwing stale bread at me!And oh, the arrogance! He struts around the store like he's the king of a vast empire, treating customers as if we're invading his personal palace. The aisles are a maze of forgotten items, and the dust? It's practically a feature at this point.But the real kicker? The atmosphere. Calling it 'dismal' would be a compliment. There's more life in a cemetery at midnight. I tried sparking up a friendly chat once, and the look he gave me could curdle milk. It's as if he's on a personal mission to ensure no one leaves happier than when they entered.In conclusion, unless you enjoy being glared at by a man who could out-sour a lemon, and fancy a trip down the gloomiest memory lane, steer clear of Old Town Mart. It's a unique experience, sure, but so is getting a tooth pulled. You've been warned!

NEVER COMING AGAIN!Me and couple of friends went to this store, and we got a bag of chips that was originally 5$, but when he saw I had extra cash on me, he charged me four times the original price, and the bag was small too.Another time, he didn't let my Hispanic friends enter the store. I'm Hispanic, but I look white, so he let me the store. I got a bag of chips, and they tasted like old dusty chips.NEVER GO HERE EVER!!!

Horrible owner and lots of products are expired. Someone should teach the employees how to read ID’s. I’m 21 and the employee refused to sell me a tall can. You would think they would want the money. Considering the chips my friend bought were a couple months expired. Never go to this place. Hopefully the health inspector shuts them down. This spot is a prime location. Anyone other than this business deserves this space.

Highly recommend NEVER going here! First of all, the selection is extremely poor. When my friends & I decided we didn’t want anything, we started to exit the store & noticed someone was following us. It was the owner, who randomly started yelling at one of my friends for touching some of the products. He swore at us, got way too close to us, & told us to get the f out after we were clearly already leaving. The worst customer service experience ever & it’s disgusting that he clearly treats many people who walk through the doors this way. Do NOT support this business!

The Old Town Minimart is a small convenience store located on Main Street in Garden Grove. It has a few household items, snacks and some non-alcoholic drinks. The staff was very helpful and I bought bottled water. They have a large selection of alcoholic drinks like beer, wine and more. When I was there, they were only using the light of the skylight for lighting inside the store. Because of this it seemed rather dark inside the store after coming in from outside where it was a bright sunny day. Other than alcohol, there isn't a wide selection of much else. This may be the case because it's a small store, so there isn't much room for a lot of merchandise.

Visiting out of town, teleworking at cafe next door. I had a gym bag with my laptop computer in it. I wanted to buy water for my hydro flask. Immediately when I walked into the store the owner yelled at me loudly in front of other customers and telling me to leave his store and to go somewhere else. Very rude. Denied service.
