Horrible service!!! I went a few weeks ago with my 11yr old and my 2 yr old to find some mechanical pencils. As we were looking at the pencils by the register the owner stood at the register and literally was hovering over us and told us not to misplace the pencils, which I understood and respected. Even though we weren’t doing it, I still acknowledged what he said.
We would literally look at the pencils and put them back in their place. My 2 yr old would grab the pencils to show me but I would put them where they belonged. The owner continued to tell me not to misplace the pencils. He literally told me 5 times in the short time that we were looking at the pencils. He made it so uncomfortable for us to shop for pencils so we left after 1-2 minutes and don’t plan on ever going back again.

Like others have said, the old Korean man's demeanor is rather off putting. I went in and browsed the keychains. I grabbed one to show my sister how cute it was. As I put it back, he barked at me and waved me over. He was trying to tell me to put the keychain back exactly how he wanted it. I said I know I saw that. But like wtf. He acts like I work for him or something. That's his damn job to straighten out the store, not the customers. After that, I didn't bother to give this store 1 cent.

this place has lots of stationery and plushies but they're rlly pricey! personally, I wouldn't go here often because I can get the same things here somewhere else for cheaper. I haven't had any bad encounters with the employee despite other people's reviews.

The salesman in this store is dishonest. We bought a pair of socks and a key chain and the total bill was $16 something. And my little cousin who is 7 years old gave him $20, but I realized I had $1 and some coins. I told him to return $5. However, he just returned 1 cent for me. Because at that time there were others customers who went inside the store, we didn’t want to bother him and didn’t focus on the money.That is so bad and dishonest.Also, the store sold very expensive and if we ordered online, we will have that things so cheap.

The customer service is good. The guy doesn't stare at you and he doesn't make you feel uncomfortable. He's very joyful and helpful. The stuff this store has, omg, so cute. But super pricey.

This place has interesting knickknacks. I bought a little whistle but it broke within a month, no excessive force was used on it. The items are nice if you’re into stationary and plush toys (a bit on the pricey side). The cashier was a bit blunt but other than that the shopping experience was alright.

The things over at morning glory was alright. But they are extremely overpriced. 30 dollars for a bag, 17 dollars for a sharpener, and a soju bottle keychain for 6 dollars. The service wasn't great what so ever. The man working there told me to stop doing things like stop touching something. I wouldn't recommend coming here

too over priced better priced shops nothings to special/different from other cutsie shops just that they have ok socks they do have a good variety of cute sanrio bags and if ur looking for a massive plush they have them there but obviously expensive

I have been shopping at morning glory for the past 5 years as it's one of the only local korean stationary stores here! The older man who works there has always been polite, patient, and goes above and beyond most of the time with packaging or even staying open a little later if I arrived close to closing. I'm not sure what people are saying about "racist" or "sexist" experiences. I've never once thought that to be the case when visiting, and I've been here with multiple different people of different ethnicities on several occasions. The selection of keychains, notebooks, etc. here is always the best!! I will continue to support this kind small business!

Had a horrible experience here. The Korean man who works here is extremely rude and seems sexist. I was so disgusted I left immediately and didn't even get a chance to shop around. Would never come back!

Surprise Morning Glory is still around but I'm so glad it was because I got to take my daughter. Brought back lots of old memories. The person at the front was nice. Will definitely come back for more pens!!
