Poor customer service!!!!!!! Reserved a car to pick up at 10:30 when we arrive we were told that the car would not be ready for hours. Javier "manager" seemed not even concerned or willing to help. Had to fight to get a refund! Would not recommend!!

Terrible service. I took an uber over for my reservation car rental and they told me when I arrived that they didn't have any vehicles available. My rental was for the day before my flight out of town and I had no time to be placed on a waiting list. They still charged me even though they couldn't provide me a vehicle. I'd give zero stars if I could.

Bad Service. We had a reservation and 2 days before our trip, they cancelled on us and said they didn't have the car available anymore.

Statefarm covered our rental car and we were told we only had to call to arrange pick-up and drop-off dates. When we got there the front desk the worker surprised us with the $50 sec. deposit which we were happy to pay BUT they don't accept cash and didnt accept the policy holders ONLY credit union debit card. When I tried to pay on her behalf we were told "Only the policy holder can pay" so we were left with no car and had to call our insurance claims and were informed we should have been able to pay and statefarm didn't know why they told us that so we've been sent to Enterprise. DO NOT RECOMMEND HERTZ, they will tell you over the phone everything is ready but surprise you with inconveniences once you go to the location.

Very pleasant experience here. Had a reservation and Javier is awesome and gave a complimentary upgrade! The car was super clean and smelled fresh.On top of that, I accidentally left my personal key after returning the car. And I tried my luck to ask if they had my key after several days. Sure enough Javier has seen it and saved my key there! Thank you again. Will come back soon for next rental need.

I made a prepaid reservation 5 days ago for a car then no car for me, an 3 hour delay option, not 100% sure for me but i only rent for a day ???I used to go to Hert in Huntington beach which never disappoints me while i live in Garden grove, :( give a try for closer location but failed. That makes sense when they have only 3 stars review. They even say anything sorry for that.

Horrible, Horrible customer service. I've been trying to call this location and keep getting disconnected. I just simply want to let them know that I am returning the rental at the body shop. You can't even leave a message. My check out experience wasn't good either. I felt rushed and I wanted to do an inspection of the car before I take possession and the guy told me we have everything. It's a new car it doesn't have any damage. I still asked him to go with me and he just stood there as I pointed some things out. I do not recommend this car rental place. I believe customer service is a lost art

Had a paid in full reservation to pick up my car at 11am. We show up. First the building looks abandoned. There was NO cars in the lot. I go inside. Tell them I was there to pick up my car. The guy behind the desk tells me he has no cars. It's at least a 3 hour wait. There was a woman walking out (at 11:00 am). Her reservation was at 8 am and was just getting a car. Mind you it took a good 20 minutes to get there. I ask if another hertz can accommodate me. He says "no! They're completely sold out everywhere!" So I call the Costa Mesa location. They have plenty of cars and suvs. We head over and upgraded me for a couple dollars more to a brand new SUV. Hours later I get a call that he should have a car soon. I tell him we got one already elsewhere. Moral of the story, AVOID THIS DUMP OF A LOCATION!! At the very least call people and let them know what is going on. Never again!!

I reserved a car over a week ago. When I went to get the car a couple of hours after I said I would be there, they said because I didn't come within a half hour of my reserved my time, they cancelled it and had no car. I was told that I would have to come back after 4 p.m. and maybe they will have a car for me. Also, they do not pick or deliver. I had to go to a complete different company and pay twice as much as I should have. I will not ever use these guys because they are liars.

I do not understand the low stars. I had 5 star experience with them. I got into a wreck and needed something immediately. They also went above and beyond to trade a car out for me when I requested it.
