I'm thrilled with my experience at Genesis Beauty Salon with Nery! I came in for a men's haircut a few times and was blown away by the quality of service, especially at such an unbeatable price of just $25. The atmosphere was quiet and friendly, making it a relaxing (so relaxing I tend to fall asleep hehe) experience from start to finish. The staff were incredibly hospitable and attentive, ensuring perfect detail. I've finally found my new hidden gem for haircuts in town, and I'm coming back. I highly recommend Genesis Beauty Salon to anyone looking for top-notch service and excellent value!

First time coming to this place. Owner lies about the price over the phone quoted $60-80. Second the worker is not interested of doing the hair upon arrival unless the owner helped her with the job while speaking in thei language Spanish. Lastly, once everything was done they over charged double the amount $195 and it was not the price quoted over the phone and they also delete your review when in reality this place isn't a 5 star salon. Good luck with your business = no clients will appreciate being fooled by your price.

First things first Alex did an amazing job on my hair , from when I first called and scheduled with Michael they listened to me and didn't pressure anything , I felt listened to and very trusting in them . I am emotionally attached to my hair and they understood the assignment when I explained how I wanted to keep my length and they did just that , from the shampooing to the cutting and hair styling after I was so pleased how everything came out ! I can't wait to book again for my hair color , the price for my hair cut was affordable and worth every dollar ! Thank you guys both for an amazing experience!

Amazing customer service. They offer you a drink or a snack while you wait and they really listen to you about your haircut/style. I've also have gotten my hair/makeup done here for prom in 2016

Every time I come in here for a hair cut, they take the greatest care of me. Best scissor work in town. I love when they know how to use scissors and can give you some good texture to your hair. I'll be coming back soon!

Alex did my bridal updo style in December. I loved the way she styled my hair and it just made me feel so special, I was then ready to tie the knot. They did play very loud music, at least it felt that way maybe because it was an early appointment, but it didn't matter when the end result was beautiful. I highly recommend Alex. She's passionate about what she does and shows it!

First time here, Came across some issues. I was looking for just a trim and they had a availability so I booked an appointment. I do not speak spanish but the ladies cutting hair primarily spoke Spanish so there was language barrier. She understood me that I wanted a trim and we cute 3 inches off. I also told her I wanted to cut my grown out bang to curtain bangs but she wasn't understanding my request and just left them long. I left it as is because i don't wanna go through the trouble since there was a language barrier. Then when it came to paying, they don't take card payment. It's cash or Zelle. On there Yelp page they say they accept Apple Pay but they don't. It's Zelle and when I tried sending the money it wouldn't work. It said "Could not send money because this phone number is connected to a small business account" the lady kept Saying it was my fault? Idk how. When it clearly said it was due to the phone number being connected to a small business. Which idk why that was an issue but it wouldn't let me send it. I was able to Venmo her. There where no signs in the salon stating they don't take card and that payment was going to be cash or Zelle before hand. Over all it was a small cute salon but definitely recon taking cash and being bilingual so you don't have issues communicating, unfortunately this was not a location for me.

My oldest daughter got her haircut before school starts. She's super picky about her hair and length. Alex always listens and is very patient to what we want and always asks if the the length is what she wants or wants to add more face framing. This salon has never failed me I've been coming here for my hair and my daughter's for the last 7 years. Always, coming back!! Everyone there is nice and easy to talk to they treat you like family and that's the type of salon environment I enjoy. Give it a try you won't regret it! :)

Phenomenal Salon! I highly recommend this spot if in the area for any haircut/styling needs. Not only is the business owner Michael very welcoming, Nery executed my request for layers on the dot! Cutting layers seems to be a weakness for most stylists, but Nery went above and beyond my expectations leaving me completely satisfied and feeling very pretty. This was my first time in this salon after reading all the wonderful reviews and I guarantee you, it will not be my last! The ladies here are all so talented and will execute your needs as requested. So come check them out! You won't be disappointed.
