This is the best early head start. Most kids come out of this school performing above grade level for their age.

My son is now in the 4th grade. Thanks to GG First Pre-School he had a strong academic foundation. He is a gate student. His academic performance is above grade level. He has been student of the month 3 times this year.My daughter is in the first grade and she mastered all of her sight words the first month of the school year.My kids did so well here all there. All of my friends and family have tswitch their kids from other schools over to GG. I even had friends driving from Long Beach to take theirs. This is a high quality education with a high level of care for a very affordable price.

Both my kids as well and niece, nephew, and friends had kids in this school. The teachers and staff are are very nurturing and prioritize learning in a safe, culturally inclusive environment. My kids were there before, during, after COVID-19. They thrived and learned how to read, write, add, and subtract. They dodo developed a love for music, performing, and art. Teachers and staff go above and beyond. They communicate well through a monthly newsletter, app, and during drop-offs and pick-ups. At times, parents be demanding and unaware but the staff is very professional. I would recommend to place to my closest friends and family.

We have three boys (currently 4, 7, and 9 years old) our youngest is currently going here now. Our kids have had the pleasure of being taught by Mrs. Jenny and Mrs. Sam at different times, but the results have been the same. They are taught writing, reading, math, social skills, and other things that by the time they go to kindergarten or 1st grade, they are well prepared and ahead of some of the other students. Our oldest child is currently in the GATE program and our second child is being recommended for the GATE test. Our youngest is doing really well here and only time will tell, but we're confident he is getting the best education at a reasonable price. Our first child has actually been to two 2 other preschools before we came to this one and this one was the one that we felt really cared about our kids. We see how much Mrs. Jenny and Mrs. Sam continually take care of our kids during events and they try to give us updates on how our kids are doing when we come pick them up. They've taken pictures and sent them to us too when we were unable to attend an activity. They have breakfast and lunches for the kids (included in the tuition) and they have Taekwondo once a week (one time fee for a Taekwondo shirt). The number of kids per classroom is small so they can provide full attention/support for the kids. Our first child was also prone to being clumsy (even at home), but we were always notified promptly if he got any scrapes or bumps. We can only speak of our own experience and the teachers we've had, but we're really glad this place is here for our kids. Highly recommended if you're looking for a preschool for your child.

It was a blessing to have found this preschool for my daughter. She is a super shy kid, but with Ms. Michelle's and Ms. Sam's patience and tutelage, she has made big improvements in making friends and her studies. After 15 months, she has learned how to read, do math and tell times. They have spelling tests every week, which is something I have not seen at the current grade school my daughter is attending. Besides education, they also have fun activities such as jumping house, pony rides, bubble day, etc... on Fridays. You can tell that Ms. Sam is really into her job teaching kids. My daughter is now attending kindergarten at a grade school, and she missed the teacher so much that she had asked to come back to visit Ms. Sam and her former classmates. I'd recommend this school to people I meet with young kids.

My Son has been attending here since last summer in Miss Sam kindergarten class. He came in there without knowing math, words, writing, coloring in the lines, coins and so on! Today he is just exceptional in writing, spelling and reading. Math is probably one of his best strength. I'm so grateful for this school and Miss Sam. She is dedicated, caring and works hard for all her students to excel. My Son loves this school. They also teach the kids Dance, sing and taekwondo! My son also got to practice on singing and performed a solo at holiday recital! Teachers are not just teaching the curriculum but help the kids with confidence and knowledge! Miss Le, the director is always keeping the place fresh with new decor and events based on holidays or cultural events! They embrace all cultures and the kids do fun activities. For example for Lunar New Years they had the kids dress up in cultural outfit! They did dragon dance! Made lanterns, ate traditional holiday foods and got red envelopes. It's all the little things that count and they grow to understand other cultures and each other! Wished I knew about this school since day 1 when he was in preschool! But nevertheless, I'm glad he got to experience his kindergarten year here! We will miss Miss Sam and Many of the great teachers there!

I'd never want to post ugly photos of my son anywhere on the internet but what happened to him is really hard for me to forget and let go. I sent my son to this school when he turned 2 and my goal was for him to interact with other kids so that he can talk more and eat more kinds of foods by looking at other friends eat. On Jan 13, 2022 at 4:39PM, his teacher called me and sent me a photo of my son saying he felt from the slide at school. The teacher for 2 year old class named Ms. Thao. My very first question to her was "is it bad? How hard did he fall?". She said his face just turned red. By the time he got home, I was shocked and cried. Photos with dates and time are attached below so you can see how terrible his entire face is! The next day, I brought my mom (his grandma) to the school check out where he felt and we both wanted to talk to the teacher. She said she cannot handle 10 kids at the same time and she couldn't catch my son when he felt from the slide on time. This is ridiculous because the play yard for 2 years old was as small as the size of the standard bedroom, 400sqft. If she was careful and really paying attention to all the kids, no one would have injured. The teacher must have been on the phone or chit chat with other teachers during play time and this is the reason why sht happened. After that day, we never sent him to school again. With his face injury, I had to take off work for a month to take care of him at home. The school didn't even offer to pay us any amount for his medical expenses. I'm very disappointed even tho I was trying to be a supportive mom to my son and was always there when the school needed volunteers. Mothers out there, at this point I don't think I need to say any other words to make you believe but imagine one day your daughter or son comes home with a face like this, how would you feel? So think carefully before you consider this school for your child/children!! if his nose is not healing in another week or two, I might have to report this situation to Garden Grove school district.

Please consider elsewhere when looking for childcare / pre-school for your child. I just called and spoke to Ms. Lee who claimed she was the center director. I mentioned I was inquiring about the preschool program, their availability and pricing for my daughter. She snapped at me and said, "I recognize your voice, you called before." I told her this was the first time I was calling to inquire. She snapped again saying, "I recognize your number, lady." I was shocked. I don't know how else to tell this woman that this is my first time calling. She replied, "well, what do you want to know?" Why were my general questions so confusing and challenging for a center director at a daycare? I told her once again, "Ma'am, I'm not sure if others just automatically sign up their children without asking questions, but I am calling regarding childcare for my daughter and wanted to learn about the program, availability, and pricing. She gave me the rate per week and the hours they are open and that's it.I was over it and hung up the phone. How do people bring their children here? When it come to the safety and well-being of my child, trust and communication is top priority and it is clear this center does not have that at top of mind. Please consider other locations for your children's care.
