Great place, not an emergency place. They take appointments, but its preferred that you line up at best 630am so you can be seen that day. You line up and fill out a wait list, they then let people by that order to see a doc. If you live nearby, you can safely go home and they will call you 10-15 minutes before the projected slot is available. When their slots for the day are filled up the waitlist closes.
We think theyre a reliable source, and informative. However, when talking to the vet about my cats dietary needs she favored commonly known foods like Purina. The vet wasnt familiar with more modern ways of feeding kitties. She was adamant that cats should eat 2-3 options and thats it. She was not knowledgable about any supplements, or food additives. She was also not familiar with Hills Science, Weruva, or Applaws.
Overall, this location is filled with highly informative individuals who take the time to explain ALL your questions. They keep it simple and fast. They make recommendations on testing, but do not push and overall, were happy to have this option for our long term vet needs.
Highly recommend this location, but please be kind to your vets and nurses at this location. People sometimes get unreasonable, but they care for hundreds of animals and their actions show that they truly do care for all your pets.
They have a cute little aquarium.

I think k they are good vets, but dam, I never get out of here under $500. And as a retired person, that really really hurts.
I need a good discount vet that does not cost an arm and a leg.

I have been coming here for 30 years. They have treated about 14 of our dogs and 8 cats throughout that time. I am down to 2 dogs and 1 cat. Could not be happier as well as knowing that my animals will be taken care of.

I am very grateful to the Doctor and the assistants, 2 weeks ago we took my dog Lilo to sleep since the Dr told us that she was invaded by cancer, they gave us the time to be alone with her in the room before starting the the process, they were so reverent and respectful of our pain that my family and I were truly surprised and grateful for the respect they gave to my dog and to us, we highly recommend them, I was reading the comments before deciding to go to that clinic I definitely don't regret it, although for a moment I hesitated because of some bad comments, but in my experience I recommend them 100%. I forgot to say that they sent us 2 condolence cards signed by the Doctor (veterinarian) and his beautiful staff. Eternally grateful ?? I don't post photos out of respect for the memory of my beloved and tender Lilo (we miss her very much)

Hi, this is the pet hospital you want to go too ! Dr Grant was exceptionally friendly and understanding and explained in detail and performed the utmost care to my mother cat before, during ,and after treatment and worked well within my budget under the circumstances and the treatment that was necessary ! Extremely happy with the staff, etc as well ! And momma cat is so much happier! And I was even a walk in without an appointment ! This is by far the new dr and location for my cats ! Without a doubt ! Huge thanks and praise to community hospital and it's staff and to dr grant!

I wanted to give this place a try since it was nearby and they accept walk-ins EXCEPT YOU WAIT FOR LONG HOURS. I understand it gets very busy but they said I can come early and wait in line to sign in. The actual process is to come in as early as 7am, wait in a long line to just check in at 8am to see if they have an available spot for you, then you write your phone number and wait for them to call you. IF they call you, you're going to show up and have to wait a few more hours before you're seen. I waited from 8am - 1pm and at the end still didn't get seen. I was most annoyed that they called at 11am to come in since there was a spot, but I ended up waiting at least almost 2 more hours before I gave up and left. I was trying to be very patient but this wait time was pretty ridiculous.

Knowing about the pre sign-in process is key if there's no appointment- show up early. Everyone is always so great especially when the fur kids aren't well.

This place quotes you below what your bills will actually be. I took my dog for exam, x-ray and blood work and the lady who does the quotes comes out with an estimate. When I compare the quotes to the actual cost it was $30 more. It doesn’t sound much, but if they can get this from every patients. They will stay in business. How do you not know the cost when you have the actual price in front of you.
On top of that they refuse to give my dog prescription. They rather fax it to whomever I plan on getting my medications from.
One of the worker there I’m guessing the manger was very rude. I call and asked for my dog prescription to be fax the same day, but she would not give me an estimated time. This is the reason I want my prescription on hand.
If you want honesty this is not the places. They will charge you more and hold your prescription because they want you to buy the medication from them.

This was my first visit, in 2023. The doctor's and staff were helpful. It's challenging trying to sign up. Very busy morning. Today 2024, was a simple sign-up. Able to come back home and wait till I'm next.
