Wish I had checked with the credibility of this establishment before I set up my business account with these people. Liars and cheats, thieves are too nice a names for them. They rob you with illegitimate overdraft charges and fees, don't answer their phones and when they do finally call you back, it's after hours so when you return the call it takes you another five to 10 days to get in touch with him. You don't know who the bank manager is, because everyone claims to have that status, and when they say they're going to call you back don't waste your time. Look for another bank. Going inside to handle business is even worse, as there are five customers in the bank, with three tellers, and you spend an hour waiting for them to get to you. When you walk up to the counter it's like they don't even know what they're supposed to do. It takes them 20 minutes to do a basic deposit. Totally and completely frustrated with how they ruined my business banking experience.

I needed to make a withdraw of a few thousand. I walked in through the front door and seen what looked like 2 tellers behind the teller line who were speaking to a couple of women. I was puzzled by the uninviting layout, there wasn't any indication of a line so I kind of just stood there unknowingly what to do for about 15 seconds. One of the tellers said to take a seat, I said I was only here for a withdrawal, she said it'd be awhile and I can use the atm outside. It was a really unwelcoming experience. I turned around and walked back to my car. I'm a VP with Chase so I completely understand how stressful it could be to work at a financial institution but these two tellers were extremely dismissive and made me never want to return to this location. I'll stick with my typical branch in Long Beach.

Stay with ATM Or Mobile Banking. The teller there are no help. Waste of time standing in line for 45min. And didn't get anything done. Should of use the ATM out side 5min would all it take. Is there a use for bank teller anymore?

If there's anything less than 0ne I would have given them that.Very rude employees including the branch manager....unprofessional....they tried to force my wife to sign for automatic authorization to pay the safe deposit box rent they forced my wife to close our safe deposit box account using scarring techniques with her

This Branch is badddddddddddd. I'm not a big customer but definitely not a small one. I have a very negative impression of this Bank of the West branch. Every time I come to the branch the lady manager name Tammy gives an attitude like I'm bringing her trouble or something. After today, I'm more than happy to reduce my account activity with Bank of the west and move to another bank that appreciates my business. If given the opportunity, I'd want to bring up my dissatisfaction with this branch's manager to the corporate as well. Thank you.

Be careful of the people that work at this bank they are dishonest. I went to this location and asked for my account to be closed. She told me there's no money in it. I told her yes that's how it's supposed to be. When I asked for proof of it being closed the teller didnt give it to me. Instead she only gave me a receipt from my daughter account withdrawal. After I left I called another branch and asked if you're supposed to receive paperwork. I was told I was supposed to receive a $0 balance receipt which the teller didn't give me. When the other branch checked it was still open. I called and spoke to the same teller and told her i want the account closed like i came in to do. I asked why she didnt close it like I asked and she refused to answer me. I'm sure it's because she doesnt think African American customers deserve to be respected. She didnt even respect me as a customer to close my account like I asked and give me the required paperwork.She told me ok it's closed now. She didnt follow procedures for closure because she planned on me having to pay more monthly fees to bank of the west. I shouldn't have to call another branch to verify if another branch employee did their job and followed procedures. Now I see why this bank has such poor customer service. The employees are dishonest and sneaky. Avoid this bank at all costs. I'm going to try my best and convince my daughter to close her accounts with them as well.

Jeol Amigo is the worst branch banker I have ever deal with. I was at the bank at 4:45PM right before closing time. He is almost ready to leave. I ask for quarters and he only give me 1 qtr role. After arguing he ask me if I have account with Bank of the west. What a shocker? You should ask for account number first which I have. I was ready to provide the account number to get some more qtrs. Role. I guess he was in so much hurry and lazy to decline the request. Mr Amigo you need to be trained how to talk to customer as you are the front line interaction between customers and bank image.

Worst bank ever, every time I go which isn't often, there is only one teller and it takes forever. I hate having to go in but at times it's necessary!

Horrible bank. One teller and 20 people in line. Longest wait times of any bank I’ve ever been at. One arm always broken. Unreal, just close the branch if you can’t keep it open properly.

Don't go to this bank. Lines are so long and there is only ONE teller. If they don't have enough tellers, close this branch and send employees to another location. A lady tried to cut in front of everyone in line...... she got mad and left after people were telling her back of the line! Hahahahahaha.

After having an account at many other banks, I have to say that BOW has been amazing. The Main st. branch staff are so friendly and willing to help with whatever you need. They truly go above and beyond. This is a smaller bank so when it is busy it may go a little slow, but it is worth it to me.

Not only does this bank charge $3.50 per transaction, they use an unfamiliar and idiot system. Who needs to get a 50 dollar bill out of an ATM? At other ATMs where you can get $50, you get 2- $20s and 2- $5s. Not at this place. Many places won't take bills over 20. So I blew another $3.50 to get out cash I could use. That won't happen again!!
